Jub's eyes widened slightly as everyone got a brief glimpse of Brutrumukk's hallucinations, and he held the stick Vansel had given him in front of him as if he was hoping it would protect him. When the illusions dissapated, Jub turned to Gabriel, Aurora and Zavakri. "You all saw that, right?" he asked, motioning vaguely around himself. "That wasn't just me... right?"

I'm surprised Aurora didn't have more of a reaction to briefly seeing Brutrumukk's hallucinations. She's just done at this point, isn't she?

Also really looking forward to seeing Brutrumukk using Wild Magic. Jub's going to have some interesting reactions to that xP

Flicker gave a barely audible "Thank you" to highwayman's leader when they were handed their pouch of money. It was clear that after that tense conversation they had retreated into themself, and were not really engaging much in what was going on around them. They pocketed the money before crossing their arms back over their chest and continuing to half-listen to the conversation going on around them.

Speaking of, would it be a simple task for Skobeloff to track her down once he's back on the mainland or will it take some doing?

No, I don't think it would be too difficult. She's not very mobile due to age and she's not really attempting to hide where she is. Plus, you might even be encountering a certain NPC very soon who will make finding her very easy.

Gabe has higher strength so I would reccomend it be him. (Not that I wouldn't absolutely love for Jub to momentarily become Hercules and lift this bugbear our of here)

At first, I was thinking that the clutch are the only ones who became close enough to be her friends. But after mulling it over, I think there would be one or two older dragons who would have made her feel welcome when she first arrived to dragon society.

One of the older dragons in question is a Rebel named Carbuncle, a dragon who intentionally left the House he was a part of. When asked why, all they answered was that "It was the right thing to do,". They won't elaborate any further on that. They are considered eccentric in Dragon Society. They are not one to say friendship is worthless, but they are not a fan of the Houses. Their scales were once a vibrant red, but now, they are pink. They won't say if it's because of time and age, or if it was because of an accident or event. They met when Stargaze was alone (or had to be alone) and some other rawscales were bullying her. He chased them off.

The other is a canary yellow scaled dragon named Sunglow. As part of House Tessith, she was the one who helped Stargaze enter Dragon Society and helped her meet the other rawscale dragons so she can find a clutch and truly rejoin Society. Without her help, Stargaze never would have met Fellwing, Skobeloff, and Shieldwing, or have gone on this adventure.

Veeery interesting. Carbuncle's description in particular is already giving me a few ideas to work with.

One thing though: can you you come up with different name for Sunglow? We already have an NPC called Sunglow (it's one of Garrock's parents who he mentioned to Skobeloff earlier)
