Cassidy, near tears: I have the sex appeal of a math book!
Loch: I don't know, dude, I've never met anyone that opened a math book and didn't say "fuck me".

You know, I never would have imagined Loch saying this on my own... but now that I've heard it, and I can say confidently that this is a very Loch thing to say xD
The youtube side of the DnD community are having a Fey themed week and I thought it was only fitting that I share this video here:

It's been weirdly quiet around here. Is everyone okay?
Congratulations, everyone! We all survived our first combat in Daggerheart. I actually quite enjoyed the flow of it moreso that DnD's combat, but that's just me.

If you need me to elaborate on my post to give you more stuff to work with, please do ask.

Dimple succeeds in shooing away the flies around him so they returned to the much tastier option: the auroch, which was now lying on the ground, unable to do much besides aimlessly thrash around. As such, there is nothing hindering Pepper as she approaches the fallen beast, allowing her to cauterise the wounds with her flames. The auroch gets a final spike of panic, causing it to thrash around a little more... before it seems to weaken. Anyone paying attention to its eyes will notice that they clear up for a brief moment, suddenly becoming fully aware of its situation before its eyelids calmly flutter close and it becomes still.

After the creature remained still for some time, a few villagers join Pepper on the ground, Gokuanni among them, and they tend to the beast's body, making certain that whatever was infecting the auroch is well and truly dealt with. They also make certain to take care of the remaining flies, just in case their consumption of the auroch's blood caused them to become infected as well. While this whole situation was pretty horrifying for everyone, Arnannel, Dimple, Pepper and Capriccio will all notice that, now that the dust has settled, the villagers approach the aftermath with a kind of grim acceptance. It's clear that while some aspects of this incident are unusual, this isn't the first withered creature they've had to deal with.

Loch

Loch felt a momentary spike of panic when O'Malley asked them to elaborate, until it occurred to them they did in fact have some relevant information they could share.

"Your Pizzeria, O'Malley. They did crossover with this place, right? Well, during that time, did you ever hear of an organization called G.E.N.I.E.?" Loch asked the animatronic.
Jub trying to stop a fight but all he manages to say is "How about you fellas take this outside?"
Jub the Peculiar

Jub had been so surprised with how easily Brutrumukk had co-operated that he was not prepared for what happened next. Aurora's comment about hoping Brutrumukk would remain a gnome for the rest of his days made Jub actively wince, as he knew that was likely not going to go down well with the barbarian.

Sure enough, he was right.

"Er, how about we don't engage in violence inside this gentleman's abode?" Jub said, reflexively stepping between Aurora and Brutrumukk. "I'm pretty sure that's gonna infringe on the Rule of Hospitality."
Loch

Loch followed the rest of the group into the Gift Shop. O'Malley paid for a pass, only to suggest someone else take it. Loch automatically held their hand out for it - not so much because they especially wanted it, but because it would likely be needed and they wanted to feel at least a little more useful. Between the axe-carrying lunatic, the psychic woman and the gangster-turned-animatronic, they were starting to feel a little out of their depth.

However, before O'Malley handed to them, they glanced at Cassidy. "Err, I'll look after it, if that's okay with you," they said. "You know, considering I'm 'squishy' and all." They tried their best not to sound offended at that last bit, as they sensed Cassidy didn't mean it in a cruel way... but it had stung a little, and that probably came out in their tone.

They listened to O'Malley's explanation about what was going on, which was... a lot In fact, they were still unpacking that information when the guy with the axe asked what they and Cassidy were doing here, which Loch a moment as, what with all that had transpired since getting here, their original purpose had escaped their mind. "Errrrrr," Loch stammered, their eyes darting to O'Malley for a second before looking back at the man. "Following a... hunch, I guess." What with everything that O'Malley had just showed them, 'people having their minds uploaded into animatronics' suddenly seemed very unimportant and irrelevant, and they didn't want to muddy the waters too much.

Not to mention, they also weren't sure if O'Malley was aware of who his personality was based on, and if he had no clue, Loch certainly wasn't going to reveal this in front of other people in the middle of an already stressful situation. That seemed like a rather personal matter, one that needed to be handed privately and with tact... which Loch highly doubted Mr Here's Johnny with the axe over there was good with.
"You truly must have your way all the time don't you? By the gods I hope you remain a gnome till the end of your days."

Okay, I feel Jub's gonna have to break up a fight very shortly xP
