Thank you! And I will try to enjoy them - though I've a lot to do while there so it will kind of ruin the relaxation. Hopefully it won't be too bad, though.

That clarifies about the invitations - I thought they would be for the characters but I really wasn't sure. I will most likely write it into my next post (which won't be until after I come back I don't think - apologies). That should be easy enough I think.
I apologise for the atrocious reply that I got up - it truly is terrible. Neither really does anything. They are in Voltas, though. Ash will come later...
I just wanted to get it up why I had the motivation really
Merely being in this place brought back unwanted memories. Daedhel had avoided Voltas were possible over the years, steering clear of it during her minimal travels through Valania. Yet here she was. Of course the area she was found herself in was quite the opposite of the exact location where she had grown up. As she slipped through the streets she caught sight the deprived and impoverished, the ruin that was the people of Valania. She ignored it and continued.

It really had changed in fourteen years. A lot had changed in that time. The person she had once been was dead, along with all of her family. Since then she had taken a new identity, a new goal and a new way of life. Of course she would never forget what had happened. It was part of what drove her forward, and part of why she took so much pleasure in the assassination of Sarifens. The money offered was, of course, another part of that.

The assassin glanced around as she walked, blending in with the few that also wondered. She saw no need to try and hide nor disguise herself; it was not like anyone would recognise who she was. Assassin's never showed their faces when they made a kill. Any who saw them soon paid for it with their last breath. And the noble family she descended from, and all those with the name, would be forgotten. At least enough so that someone would know that. She had only been a L'Fivre for eight years. She was different from then in many ways.

Her destination, for now, was to return to her current lodgings. A little... persuasion had seen her set up in a small brothel, situated in the perfect location for her getting about. It was more than easy for her to blend in with all the other occupants. What had been asked of her was a small price to pay for the accomodation she got. While she had more than enough earnings to pay most people around here to give her a room in their meagre homes flaunting around a reasonable amount of money was not ideal when she wanted to keep a low profile. She never had much on her, the majority of what she had earned over the years stored in Ivalis. It was secure. She had made sure of that.

Daedhel remained alert, and hesitant, as she continued with one hand casually resting on the dagger in her belt. Few dared approached her, which was a problem she had had in the past. Her appealing body that often attracted people over was overshadowed by the dangerous glint in her eyes and intimidating expressions. She could easily fend of any unwanted attention, no matter who it was from. On her person at any one time were at least three weapons, minimum, all hidden in discrete folds and pockets in her reasonably tight fitted clothes. Who knew when she would find a new target to take out. She always had to be prepared.
The overwhelming heat was never something she would get used to. While the room Corisande worked in was not small the blazing fires and amount of people certainly didn't help. There were two other apprentices, and three blacksmiths all working hard to get finished as soon as possible. They were all pushed to the limit to produce decent merchandise efficiently. With all the turmoil brewing there was only a constantly increasing demand for weapons. While this was what kept the business running, in Voltas no less, and allowed the owner to employ three other blacksmiths in addition to the apprentices it wasn't exacly pleasing work.

After all the demands were only getting more tasking and difficult to fulfill in the given time frame. The heat from constant smithing was not a great combination with the exhaustion they all felt from no breaks and a general lack of sleep. Corisande wiped a hand against the brow, black hair sticking to her forehead and falling across her eyes in a rather annoying manner. Most of the others had removed all clothes from above the waist to at least tried and reduce the heat they felt. Corisande could afford to do no such thing for it reveal that she was, in fact, not a boy.

"Stop daydreaming, Corin, before one of them notices you," the apprentice beside her hissed, a boy around her age. He was nice enough and she got on with him, though she wouldn't say it was a friendship. She blinked, only just realising she had become lost in her thoughts and ceased her hammering. Bending down slightly she continued to pound the metal before her into shape. Her arms practically screamed out in protest, gradually growing muscles almost giving out.

"You would think they would run out of soldiers to arm by now," she muttered as she continued, glancing over at the apprentice beside her. Dion, she believed his name was. "We've made so many weapons of all shapes and sizes. I never thought I would wish for the day when I went back to smithing the basics."

"Same here," Dion replied quietly, voice slightly breathy. Corisande nodded slightly. Well, it could be worse. At least she had a place to stay, was fed enough to survive and had work. It had been quite a stroke of luck after living on the streets. She appreciated all that she had even if had to work hard for very little. She was still alive. That was something. It was better than the fate she would have faced back in her village. She wanted to do something like this, give life to all the ideas in her mind rather than bearing children until she was too old.

There was a sudden banging from the front and the sounds of raised voices, one unmistakably the owner. Corisande winced slightly, nervously running a hand through her short hair before continuing. That certainly didn't sound good.
Amazing! It is absolutely ginormous O.o I will start reading it now however won't get up a reply until later tonight or tomorrow (I'm about to go out). Friday afternoon at latest - I'm kind of going away for a week that evening, won't be back until the next Saturday. I'll have very little internet and it will be on my phone so no IC replies. I will try to keep up. I apologise at how terrible this is - I really don't want to go but I have to.

Creative ways to get then to Voltas... Right. Will do that. Shouldn't be too difficult I don't think. Dae and Corisande are relatively easy - I'll probably wait until after Peik posts to do Ash, since he is in Korkud's retinue. I am quite looking forward to this, though! With slight tense and nervous anticipation xD
Hopefully I will get to go next year! I'll make my friends actually tell me when it is this time... *grumbles* I have no idea which character I would have gone as truthfully, Skull. Whichever would be easy for me to make a costume for probably xD I really was to go to the san diego one... Just I live over hear in Scotland. Very far away.

I might look into getting it digitally, then, cause then I can read it cause I really really want to read it :) And that's awesome! Budapest... Eee that would be so amazing I mean just any Black Widow movie would be amazing

I agree with the bond villain xD

Attack on Titan is amazing, Skull - I put off watching it cause its popular and you know, popular things can be terrible... But it is pretty good. And the art is beautiful. I watch anime on and off - only recently started watching more beyond Avatar Legend of Aang xD Haven't watched either of those, but I've read quite a few fma manga. I tend to actually read manga more than watch anime. Not too fond of TV overall, actually

I said I would make a quick reply two days ago... Whoops xD I kind of lost any energy I had so yup that happened. Will try and make a quick one some time today or tomorrow or something
And what a brilliant future that will be xD

Sounds like it will be great... and decent options are certainly good xD We have one comic con, I think, which I missed this year. All my friends went as tf2 characters and rubbed it in my face that I forgot to get tickets
Really? Maybe for someone good at making costumes :P I admittedly had to look up what ombre was... now I understand. A wig isn't too bad just for cosplaying, I guess :)
Yeah... I've not actually read many of the comics at all (they're so expensive) but yeah what I have is super amazing. That would be so cool if they did that! Hopefully if they make a Hawkeye movie... or a Hawkeye and Black Widow movie. That would be amazing

I'm just magical xD There are lamer things about... I watched a program once about inheritance hunters or whatever who looked for distant relatives of people who died without a will. That kind of program is lame. I wouldn't be able to sleep either if I watched them I'm a massive wuss
Yeeeah its just the most annoying thing. It makes everything worse.
I got all mine done, thankfully, but it took me all day O.o

That sounds absolutely awesome! We don't get any decent cons here in Scotland *grumbles* American comic cons are always better, I think, with more stuff out with comics. But I'm sure you'll have a great time :) That is an absolutely awesome costume! Even if its unfinished it looks so cool. It is so like the costume in the movie.
Yesss! Because Hawkeye and Black Widow 5ever xD
Just keep trying :P That would be quite amazing... Pizza dog! Eee

Its not problem, really, I think we've all been really busy. I misread poopie as people and got really confused xD Something entirely different... And I mean crime documentaries are cool. I guess... When I feel crap I mostly watch stupid youtube videos
Homework just isn't that important xD Awesome! Black Widow is so badass... What's the cosplay for? A comic con or something?
I've only cosplayed twice - both times friends parties. Once I went as Arya Stark, the other time Hawkeye (it was a cosplay laser tag party... so weird)

Whoo hoo! I think I did a weird flail thing when I saw you had posted! It's so awesome! Aelyn is so awesome xD I'll try and get up a reply tonight actually. I'm in a very writing mood, as exemplified by pretty much finishing a chapter of my story, so it shouldn't be difficult!

"Being careful can be so difficult," Synnove replied, allowing him to take her arm and fix it. Normally she would be able to fix it, but her mind was completely elsewhere and she had no idea what she had done to mess it up so badly. And it was difficult working on her own arm, after all it meant she only had one hand to work with. "Yeah, I guess maybe I should. I'm just not good at being nice to people I don't like, you know?" She experimentally flexed her right hand, flashing Nax a thankful smile. It was working just fine now, thankfully. Maybe she should be more careful... After all it was this arm that allowed her continue doing all the things she could do. Engineering was difficult with only one arm. "I'm hoping I'll be somewhere else in two years." She sighed softly. "It's just I'm beginning to wonder if I made the right decision moving from electrical engineering into laser technology. Hell, I don't even know if I made the right decision beginning to work as an engineer rather than making my living off computing." She sighed softly, speaking as she stood and followed Nax over to the food vendors.

"Food sounds, and smells, good," she murmured as they reached the area with all of the food vendors. She wandered around all of the vendors, taking time to look at their wares and decide whether she wanted something or not. Food would be good... very good. Unhealthy preferably. Unhealthy food was always the best. She would do some form of exercise to work it up that evening. Anyway, there was nothing wrong with a treat now and then. She ate healthy food all of the time, just like most people did. Technology really helped when it came to eating well. Nutrition guides were quite common now, and relatively handy. Syn followed hers most of the time. Okay, that was a lie. When she felt like it. But she was in perfectly good shape.

She eventually came to stand beside Nax, glancing at what he had ordered. That looked pretty good. "Yeah, I'll get something. I'll buy it myself, though." She flashed him a smile. She had recently got payment from a small, but rich, company that she had helped with computer network security after they had been hacked and lost quite a few of their files. Of course she hadn't been the one who had done the hacking... no that would just be unethical. But it was nice having a reasonable amount of money, and with having that came spending it on herself on stuff such as this. "I'll have another one of those, please," she pointed to what her friend was eating. She got her earpiece scanned and took the sandwich, immediately beginning to wolf it down. It tasted just as good as it had smelled.

"Walking around a bit might be good. We can work off the calories we put on due to this," Syn laughed, taking another bite. She was pretty quickly devouring the unhealthy sandwich. Soon it was gone... and she wanted another one. No, that wouldn't be good. One was more than enough. It was certainly unhealthy enough. Arching an eyebrow curiously the young woman followed him over to the wooded area, slightly confused as to why he was heading over there. It was almost as if he had seen something... She hadn't. But then again, that wasn't surprising. She was terrible at noticing things.

Okay then, he had seen something. Syn crouched down to pick up the other sharp, holding it at about an arms length away from her green eyes which were narrowed as they look at it. Her piece was more of an uneven trapezium in shape with rather sharp edges and reasonably pointy corners. Nax's would work better as a weapon... but she really doubted these were meant to be used as weapons. "Maybe someone dropped them?" Syn shrugged, closing on eyes as tried to inspect hers. "Because people like to leave things in wooded areas. And everyone around here litters." She pursed her lips, rummaging around her tools and pulling out a small laser pointer. It was quite rudimentary technology, nothing dangerous. It just produced a beam of light. She had made it herself, though, when she was younger so it had some kind of sentimental value. And it came in handy at points. "They could be part of a secret plot to take over the world!" She smirked slightly, shining her laser into the mirror shard to see what happened. "Hey, this is weird. It's reflecting, like it should do, but the laser also seems to be going through it... odd. Some kind of optical illusion or something."

"Congrats, really glad it went well," Keir smiled. "But, Emmy, you know how stressful premieres are," he whined good naturedly. "I do love seeing your movies, but the premieres... And what will people say when you turn up with me? Some badly dressed, obviously nerdy boy. I'll completely ruin your good image. But I guess I don't really have a choice in the matter, do I? As long as I don't have to socialise too much. And I think I have a nice outfit somewhere in my wardrobe... It's probably covered in dust and been eaten by some kind of creature."

He smiled as Emmy began to sing to his absent-minded playing, concentrating on it a bit more and just allowing all the music that had been stuck inside him to flow out into the tune which was quickly gaining more of a shape. He gave her a half hearted glare at the lyric choice. She was trying to make a point here, wasn't she? It was times like this when he began to regret his decision to study chemistry, rather than pursuing a career in music. Some small part of him wanted him to abandon university and follow that wild dream. But what would his parents say? They would undoubtedly withdraw all support. And he doubted he would make it. Only the best made it in the world of music. And while his tunes were nice enough they weren't that great.

"Going outside? That's sounds pretty terrifying," Keir laughed lightly. "And I'll have you know the ways of the hermit are brilliant ways. It means little social interaction. And no fresh air." He smiled and allowed Emmy to pull him up to his feet. "I guess going out would be good... and I do need some more food. Last night I had beans on toast for dinner... But I didn't have many beans." He nodded. "We can do that on the way back, though." He headed over to the door and picked up a pair of trainers placed on a shoe rack just beside it, pulling them on. "How about we go to the park? Its always relaxing... And plenty of fresh air there, unpolluted by cars."

He headed out of the door, waiting for her to follow before locking up. "Remind me to write down that song when we get back. It want to develop it... it wasn't too bad. Although the lyrics you added were absolutely teasingly," he spoke teasingly, glancing at his friend with a light smile. He headed down to the stairs, humming the tune that he had just been playing to himself as he walked out the flat. He seemed to be trying to work out exactly what he wanted with the song, smoothing out certainly faults so it would be decent enough to write onto paper. He paused, frowning thoughtfully before going back to the beginning and humming again.

"Got it! Definitely remind me to write it down," Keir grinned. "It's really developing in my mind." He pushed his glasses up his nose as he walked at quite a casual pace along the road, finding it weird to once again be outside. It was nice. He should really try to get out more while studying. "So, do you have any other acting jobs at the moment? How about singing? That going well. If you ever want someone to help with writing a song or to play the guitar or piano or something I'm available. I don't charge much, I'm just a skint student." It was, honestly, really great to see Emmy doing so well in such a difficult industry. He was sure she would be properly famous sooner or later. Although, if that happened, she might be dragging him to premieres on very regular basis. That was a really terrifying thought. What if she had a massive fanbase that he had to compete with to be number one fan? That would just be so weird. If she became famous she would constantly be pestered by the press. He might be pestered by the press. He really should stop thinking about all that... it was something in the future.
I wouldn't worry too much about it! Life's kind of more important... I totally understand the being swamped (that really sucks for week 2 though). I myself didn't finish my homework until about 9pm tonight. And that's only one out of four subjects done -.- Looking forward to a post tonight if you manage! :D
