I will make sure to - I'll probably do it now, while I'm reading it for a second time (it's long enough that it warrants that to get all the information). It's a brilliant post and certainly getting into more of the action. I'm quite looking forward to what will happen in the evening with the dinner many of them have been invited to - it will be interesting to see how that goes. I'm looking forward to Corisande getting more... proper roleplaying then since she hasn't done much yet (though there is no reason for her to have been invited there and none that I can myself think of xD)

Certainly looking forward to posting for Dae... I am quite glad that she has crossed paths with Lucius and Ona because that will lead to interesting interactions. Very interesting ones methinks.
Oh wow that is a massive ginormous post that will takes me ages to read xD Awesome! Glad it's finally up and I'll start working on a response when I've read it. Which will be in quite a while :)
Zaria's hand moved to gracefully catch the knife and though she caught it with ease, mainly due to how well it had been thrown rather than her actual skill as shown by the fact she almost dropped it as soon as it was in her hand. Well that was embarrassing. "Why thank you," she smiled her replied to Kasumi, using the knife to create a neat cut across her hand. She allowed the blood to slowly drip off so it hit the sand. Another few drops were added just for good measure. She wasn't sure if everyone would participate. Some seemed... more moral than others, you could say.

The reward certainly sounded good. Taboo arts long lost? Well, if they were taboo they must be somewhat dangerous as only such things were viewed in that way. She looked forward to finding out exactly what that meant and of course gaining the knowledge. Zaria did so like collecting information like this. After all, knowledge often was power. Moving over to Kasumi, she held out the knife towards her. She was sure she would want it back. "It will be more use to you if you see through with your threat." Which was one she fully supported and was willing to aid in getting the others, who seemed less willing, to give their blood. So far there were three of them and if it remained at that number they would undoubtedly have to give more blood. And out of those three, she seemed to be the only one who had done no such thing already. Well these events certainly had taken an interesting turn.
Yeah I really know what you mean - really demoralising for trying to write and stuff. It sucks. I had to drop out last year cause of stuff.
Aw, that's a shame! I wouldn't worry about it though because it obviously isn't your fault that you're behind! And I wouldn't worry if you drop out, its really just for fun and stuff and doesn't make you a quitter
Yup! Which is very good :D

BTW reading your sig, good luck with NaNo! I would be doing it again this year but I don't have time... doing it next year though (completed it 2012)
I don't want it to die as well so that makes the three of us xD So it should be ok
Heya :)

Awesome post! I think we'll get back to reasonably regular posting again soon :D
It is quite quiet here xD

Anyway, I am looking forward to the next post as and when it comes though the whole thing with your laptop is really quite terrible. Technology *shakes head and mutters* Looking forward to continuing, though, and going into the main plot arc
A few moments after stepping through the portal, and after a few moments of watching Kasumi and Caelyn, Zaria approached the two deciding that it would be best to interact. This way she could get a feel for what they were like, although it was easy to guess that the one picking her nails with a knife was a dangerous sort of person, and she was yet to actually find out what their task was. "Greetings," she began with a nod to the two people. She glanced down at the body with a raised eyebrow. "I am assuming you know what it is we are doing, then? So far I have followed along with the hope that it will in the end prove beneficial in some form to me."

There was a certain friendliness to her tone, almost genuine. She watch them both carefully as if each motion would give her some form of information that she could use. She had a feeling that these two would be better to have as allies than enemies. Then again she could say the same for the two she had met beforehand. There were few she could not get on with, or at least put on the act that she did get on with them. She had had to work with difficult people plenty of times in the past. It was merely a case of deciding which she thought were the strongest thus the best to work with. That was always priority, and it was merely an added benefit if she managed to get on with them. Glancing between them her gaze zoned in on Kasumi. "That's quite a nice knife you have there."
