"That's what I thought," Tony replied hesitantly, slowly, raising an eyebrow slightly. Okay, so he had suspected Loki was blushing and him saying that made him more sure. Or maybe Loki didn't want him to think it was blushing because it wasn't and Tony would get ideas. He didn't want to think too much into it. It wouldn't make anything better. He would just take Loki's word for it. Part of him wanted Loki to be blushing. Which was weird and almost caused him to blush. He didn't though. Just about managed it. Though it wasn't all that well known Tony was into both genders. He wasn't too fussy. Sure, he preferred women, but he had been with men in the past too.

"I'm glad to," Tony smiled. "Will help you fight the illness I think." He didn't, of course, want Loki to throw up. That wouldn't be nice for either of them. Especially if he didn't realise and... No Tony definitely wasn't thinking about Loki accidentally puking on him. He was glad that Loki didn't comment when Tony put his arm around him. That was good. He wasn't sure what he would say anyway. Sorry, I sort of accidentally not really put it around you. That would just be awkward.

Tony was pretty tired after the second one as well. The Lord of the Rings seemed to do that to you. He noticed Loki closing his eyes and stretched out to grab the remote, turning off the DVD player and the television to stop any background noise. He was about to get up to let Loki sleep when the god snuggled up against him. Tony froze for a moment, then relaxed and let Loki do so. He was sure that Loki had slept most of the last night curled up next to Thor so maybe just being in close proximity to someone he sort of trusted helped him sleep. Tony wasn't going to move, then. Not that he wanted to it was... Nice. Strangely relaxing. He felt a blush moving to stain his own cheeks, but he didn't really care all that much. His own eyes closed as he decided he might as well catch some sleep as well.
Tony saw that Loki didn't realise understand any of the Bambi stuff, so decided to just continue with Lokes for now. He was sure Loki wasn't too fond of nicknames in general but he would have to deal with it. It was what Tony did. He gave everyone nicknames. It was just his thing, he guessed. Whether other people liked it or not. Although he tried not to upset them or anything. Often they didn't even get the references or nicknames. He was pretty sure the only Avenger he hadn't given a nickname was Natasha and that was only because he was sure he would break one of his bones or something if he did.

"Probably a good idea... At least you managed the soup," Tony smiled slightly. He glanced at Loki, tilting his head slightly. Was he blushing? No, Tony was just imagining it. Loki's cheeks were probably flushed by the fever. He was pretty sure that happened. Head going to the cheeks or some biological crap like that. He didn't know. He noticed that Loki leaned on him a bit and was surprised he didn't mind. In fact, he quite liked it. Strange. Before he knew it he'd moved one arm so it was loosely draped around Loki. He bit his lip but decided removing it would just be more obvious. Act smooth, Tony. Like its just the normal position you sit in.

"Oh, right... If I knew anything to help with that I would give it to you," Tony replied quietly, sounding slightly worried. He knew the best thing for a fever was to just rest and try and sleep it out. At least Loki wasn't getting any worse. He moved his gaze back to the movies, watching with a half interest. He had already seen it all before, of course, so he knew what happened. He did love Lord of the rings, though. Not something most would guess when they watched him. He wasn't much of a fan of fantasy, but Lord of the rings was pretty great.
"It's from a kids movie," Tony explained with a shrug. "I'll show you it sometime." There we so many things he could call Loki. After all that helmet he had worn just asked for it. It had sort of been like horns, thus the reindeer games then and bambi now. Because at the moment he was much cuter. And more vulnerable, but also pretty nice. He munched on a bit more of the popcorn, only half concentrating on the movie and half checking to make sure Loki was okay.

"Yeah, probably not the best idea... Popcorn isn't the healthiest thing," Tony mumbled through eating, glugging down some coke. Okay, it wasn't the healthiest drink ever. But it wasn't alcoholic and it wasn't coffee, which were the two types of drinks he most often drank. So coke was a pretty good alternative. "Uh, yeah, sure if you want," Tony blinked, mumbling out the words as he moved from being perched on the arm of the couch to sitting next to Loki. He wasn't sure why Loki had asked him to... Maybe it was because if Thor was here the blond god would undoubtedly be hugging his brother through the movie. So maybe Loki just wanted some comfort by someone sitting next to him.

Tony didn't mind at all. Loki was ill and it wasn't like he would do anything to Loki. Anyway, the couch was way comfier than the arm of it and the armchair he had been in earlier. He took a while to get completely comfortable, moving a bit before letting out a slight sigh as he found the perfect position and continued to watch the movie. It was getting a bit more action filled now, which was good. He was sure that if Thor had been here they would be watching something else. No way did Thor have the attention span to watch through all the 'boring' bits before getting to the battles. "You okay, Lokes? You're shivering..."
Tony took another sip of his coke, sitting on the arm of the couch Loki was lying on as he waited for the popcorn to be done. "Glad you're enjoying it, Bambi," Tony smiled, thinking up yet another nickname for Loki. He practically had a list. Lokes had been accidental when it had first slipped out but it had sort of stuck in his mind. "Nah, I'll get through them. Only two more movies. And anyway, coke has caffeine in it. That'll keep me awake." He grinned, taking a large gulp before hopping up and heading back into the kitchen to collect his popcorn. He poured it into a large plastic bowl before returning.

"I'm assuming you don't want any popcorn?" He asked as he stuffed a handful into his mouth, munching before pressing play to start the next movie. He stayed perched on the arm of the couch Loki was on, which was surprisingly comfortable, just in case the god did want some popcorn. At least that was the reason he told himself. He doubted Loki would want any popcorn, he was ill. Tony glanced at Loki occasionally through the film, sort of subconsciously. He certainly hadn't really meant to. But it happened. He hoped Loki didn't notice.

It was through the combination of drinking the whole can of coke and eating quite a lot of sugary popcorn that Tony stayed awake. Which was probably a good thing considering if he fell asleep he would either fall onto Loki or fall onto the floor. He wasn't sure which he would prefer. For some reason his mind seemed to like the Loki option. He ignored that. Sure, he didn't mind Loki. He was good company even if they had tried to kill each other before. He hardly knew the god anyway, even if they had spilled stuff out to each other. He did want to get to know Loki better though... Which he found kind of strange.
Oh, phew, that's good! And that is pretty annoying... need to keep the birds safe

Awesome! That is a pretty good deal, I think. But ten treats a pack isn't that much...
Oh gosh O.o that is really really terrible and scary. I'm assuming Frodo is alright?
And that's stupid... A bird is pretty important, you would never consider doing something that was dangerous to humans
Tony arched an eyebrow. Really? As far as he was aware most people knew him as an arrogant, well, sod. He wasn't exactly the most sensible of people, he wasn't the nicest, and he was pretty proud. He guessed he hadn't really talked to Loki before, beyond when they captured him and had him in the plane and that little chat before Loki threw him out of the window. And now, of course, Tony was sort of looking after him. Which Tony found just a bit weird. After all before this they had only met as enemies. Still, he was warming to Loki.

Tony managed to stay awake through the rest of the first movie, which was pretty long, yawning as he got up to put in the disc of the Two Towers. "You want anything before we start the second movie, Lokes? Also, did you enjoy that?" He smiled at Loki. "I think I might get myself some popcorn to eat while watching the movie." He murmured this half to himself, inserting the disc before wandering over to the kitchen to find one of those packets of popcorn that you heat in the microwave. He managed to find one in the cupboards, putting it into the microwave and standing there waiting for it to finish. It wouldn't take long.

As he waited he grabbed himself a can of coke from the fridge, opening it and taking a sip. It was a sad replacement for alcohol but today he was going to try to not drink any. Well, at least until he had an evening meal. Then he would maybe allow himself one glass. But he really had to stop the habit of drinking far too much alcohol. It wasn't good for him. Then again when had he cared about that? He had been drinking since he could remember.
Hello! You caught me just as I'm about to go to sleep -.-
Ugh, that is not nice. And yeah that may be a good idea to keep Frodo healthy...
"Well, truthfully, I think I would have been horrible to my brother if I had one," Tony admitted with a shrug, not pushing the matter any further. That was one thing about Loki he would never understand. He could get most of the daddy issues, Tony's relationship with his own father had not been top notch. He guessed in his case the older brother he was competing with was science. And science always won. He glanced at Loki, glad that he was no longer puking even if he did still look like crap. No improvement on yesterday, unfortunately.

Tony tried to concentrate on the Fellowship of the Rings and realised that it had been a pretty bad choice when he had a slight hangover and was tired. It was far too complicated, even if he had watched it quite a lot. Not exactly the best movie for watching while tired. Maybe he could just sleep until they got to Rivendell... They pretty much just walked before that. Sure, Frodo was stabbed, but it was a minor plot point. Okay, not really. Tony didn't fall asleep though, instead half concentrating on the movie and half concentrating on watching Loki.

Quite surprised by the question, Tony let a slight smile slip over his lips. Ah, a question about technology. This he could answer. "Well, I know quite a lot about the technology... But it is more linked to the brain than anything I think. Basically the screen is made up of a series of dots in rows called pixels. Our brain reassembles these dots into a meaningful picture. The TV actually shows a sequence of still, subtly different images, at least 15 per second, which our brain reassembles into a single moving scene. It is pretty cool actually. That's a simple explanation of how it works. The actual movie is on a thing called a DVD, meaning Digital Versatile Disc. This has on it a spiral track of data, which has microscopic pits and grooves in the track. A laser in the DVD player then reads these and that creates the movie on the screen. That part is actually pretty complicated, but I hope that explains it all a bit?"
Oh gosh, he is learning all of your tactics xD

But yeah, stressing over Chemistry... So I will reply tomorrow but I can't tonight. I'm really really sorry!
