@Flagg Is there anything I should know about the troops in Bosfyrd specifically?

Nope! I had nothing in mind. In fact, I didnt figure that the troops around there were necessarily Daigon's. I'll roll with whatever punches you guys throw and have Daigon show up when it seems appropriate.

@mattmanganon

Hey! so the retinue is a bit much for this RP- both in terms of power and numbers. Since this RP is turning out larger than I anticipated, I would stick with a smaller, lower-key retinue with no xenos in it.

Sorry for my delay, I've been a busy bee these past couple days and have had to put this on the back burner. I'll get to catching up on things and tailor my CS to the scene we have here.

no worries- looking forward to what you come up with!

Ive added more info to my sheet so what do you think boss man?

Looking good so far.

Alright folks, we're just waiting on a few more sheets- so finish up your CSes (goes for me too!) and we can get started shortly. If anyone misses the opening of the RP, that's no big deal they can join later.

WIP here, but what I am essentially setting up (based on the original legion's methods) is a character that can function as a military advisor that can handle the operations for an inquisitor calling in the large military support, in order to ensure that the job is done right.

So a little different from the usual.

looking good! feel free to stick in the character tab.

Right, I'm gonna go'head and make an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor then...Xenos4Lyf!

That'd be great! If you do prefer to just RP as a sanctioned Xenos tho, you're welcome to be part of Ravenstein's retinue.

WIP; this is up primarily to make it easier to edit rather than having to save it separately. I stayed out later than intended tonight.

you stick this guy in the Character tab, btw. I know it's a WIP but the general concept is approved and I look forward to seeing him fleshed out!
cursed is the ground for thy sake
Genesis, 3:17

The Jericho Road

We do not know what- besides pride- destroyed the Old World. But we know that it was terrible beyond comprehension. We know that the Old Ones deployed their nuclear arsenals against it, accomplishing nothing but the irradiation of the earth and sky.

According to what sources we have, Ichor, our lifeblood and our curse, was not to be found on the earth until the Old World fell. Some in the Scholams of the Church claim that our world has been cursed, impregnated by demons, and that the Ichor that fuels our vehicles and powers our cities is the seed of fallen gods and ancient monsters, seeping up from some vast, accursed womb.

That, of course, is mere superstitious speculation. Whatever Ichor's origins, it is the most abundant and efficient fuel source we have, and it will power the rebuilding of the world...despite its mutagenic potency.

Welcome to AD 4000

The world is a little different than you may remember.

The good old US of A is well over a thousand years in its grave (no one knows for sure what did it in or, for that matter, what- exactly- succeeded it before the Old World fell...), but its former territory is now a vast wasteland, covered with deserts, carnivorous fungus-jungles, caustic seas, irradiated plains, the endless ruins of supercities, and pockmarked with settlements and civilizations struggling to survive. Foremost among these is Jericho, a walled metropolis located in what used to be known as the midwest. Jericho is famous for two things: trade and kicking ass. Located along the famous and infamous Jericho Road, along which is conducted much of the world's Ichor trade, the city benefits from the constant flow of giant merchant crawlers and armored caravans across the ruined continent, and its isolated position and the incredible dangers of the Road have made it a haven of the rugged and the ruthless.

This will be a fairly free from nation RP, inspired by dieselpunk, Fallout, Mad Max, Lovecraft, China Mieville's fiction, Warhammer 40K and whatever you folks bring to the table! Our nations and factions inhabit the ruins of a highly advanced successor society to modern day America- and the details of those societies are....basically up to you. Mutant lizard men? Robot armies? Go for it. Is magic a thing? Fuck yes, if you want. This is meant to be gritty, grimdark, and completely over the top. Writing standards will be advanced, and people will be expected to play nice with others given the freedom inherent in the setting.

We can assume that the ecosystems, climate, and geography (aside from massive mountains and holes in the ground where lakes used to be/are), is significantly different than it is now. The biggest change I will make to current-day geography is this much of the pacific coast has dried up, and now leads to vast salt flats.

Anyone interested?

I know that there is a ranking system cause there are ranks like master and so forth. It was just a thought I had.

EDIT: how weird would it be for Inquisitors to take Arbites as a retinue?

Not weird at all.

As for the titles, let's just have everyone be Inquisitors with Ravenstein being the only Inquisitor Lord.
