>That moment when you realize that you can only do fandom RPs because you're bad at original characters. This is what I get for never playing DnD
<Snipped quote by Flamelord>
Jackson is not that OP, but Mu is the one you need to just let kill something. Doesn't have to be a person, just something alive. Give Mu a fish to rip up and your good.
Annette doesn't tend to carry along dead or live fish with her.
Also, Kuro is pretty OP too you know. Since at least with the other two Annette can try and pump them so full of radiation they glow green, if not just outright shoot them.
<Snipped quote by Flamelord>
The ability is still the same, it's just the application that differs. In theroy, Jackson can do all of that stuff himself. All of it is messing with reality, with himand Mu's being the most similar, except Mu's is the extreme version. Plus, the power is very much tied to the users emotions, mental state, and their wayof sering things, and thus, since no two people are alike, so is it that no two persona's are alike either. It's like taking a video game character and reassigning stat points, everyone has there way if doing things.
I see. *Puts in the list of people to never fight, along with the guy who can manipulate distance*
Uh, so how does each separate persona have different powers, given that they're still the same person? It's not like his brain is rewiring how it works when another personality takes over (Or does it)
Ah well that was just what I got from reading it. Er..well I guess I should find another thing lol. Maybe I could start my own client world adventure eh?
Hm, well, Cinder needs something to do, so.....an infiltration mission onto a UMMA world that runs into X could be possible.
Alternatively, someone needs to go get Guts from Konohoa, I think. Because investigating debris from the Warp and eliminating it with extreme prejudice is okay.
Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil
Tables claimed, Nono looked over at the others in her group as they found the menus and made their own choices before proceeding over to join her. Lucas was conversing with Gintoki, and Nono was silent for the moment as she considered what to get, that would taste good as well. She also looked around at the restaurant itself, enjoying the decor, and keeping up her good mood overall.
She was interrupted then by the approach of an employee, and she turned to face the waiter with a smile as he asked about Saber and her...peculiarities. She was used to it though, and so she was prepared.
"Sorry," she replied as she rose. "She gets like that when it comes to food. Don't worry, I'll handle it." That she would, as she walked over to Saber. She'd had experience in this before as well, though she still found it amusing. But she was unable or unwilling to stop it happening, which wasn't really a problem.
Fortunately the menus were holographic, meaning Nono would be visible as she spun into sight behind it, wearing something between a pout and a glare, hands resting on her knees as she looked at Saber. "Onee-sama, you're not going to get any food if you just stare at the menu all day," she pointed out in a slight chastisement, though she couldn't completely hide her amusement.
She grinned then as she grabbed the menu. "That is, unless you want me to order for you," she teased, dancing away before Saber could grab it back. At least there were other menus present, and the gynoid did a quick scan before placing her own order for Mabo Tofu, the variety that were rumors to burn your taste buds off. She regretted nothing.
Misaka 10,032, Client World Macross
Misaka sat down to wait for her food as Kakine and Marisa sat down at the same table. She had, at the same time, placed her bag of weapons to the side, leaning against the table as she turned her attention in full to the Witch, as well as he traveling companion, as they conversed more.
"Yes," she answered succinctly, echoing what Kakine had said. "'Our objective is the discovery of technologies and resources in other multiversal planes that may be of use to Academy City, as well as determining whether initiating diplomatic contact may be advisable," Misaka explains as she patiently waits upon the arrival of her meal."
As one might guess, it wasn't a big deal for her, though she left some the details, such as the secondary objective of her experiencing more of the world, to herself.
Honestly, I can't listen to music while I'm writing stuff. Either I'll tune the music out, or only listen to it and it won't really help. Guess that's just how my mind works.
On the other hand, listening to music helps me come up with ideas for things I want to happen in stories, or how to picture scenes I want to write out. But while writing, just doesn't work for me.
Finally stopped being a lazy bastard, so here's a CS. Open to editing as necessary, since it's my first real foray into Advanced as it is.
Name: Tybalt Varlan
Faction: Roving Clans
Description: A man in his upper 20's, Tybalt has a solid build, tan skin that has visibly seen the test of rough weather and lots of travel. Has a solid build from hard labor that belie his more modest upbringing, rather than the cultured look one might expect from a rich merchant. Tall, he is well dressed in light brown robes with blue clothes beneath, accented with a red sash and some gold heirlooms. Has a well cropped beard, and moderately long brown hair. Also has a scar on his lower left arm from an old wound, though he doesn't go out of his way to hide it.
Goals/Fears: Save Auriga, duh. Besides the big picture thing, he's also seeking to use this quest as the boost to his political capital he needs, to rise to the position of Head of All Clans. And making a profit wouldn't hurt either.
In counterpoint though, he fears failure, the disgrace that that would bring upon his clan, and the corresponding loss of status. Poverty he can recover from, but the stigma of a failure of this magnitude will in all likelihood never go away.
Equipment: A Glaive, well maintained and useful for fighting on the ground or mounted on a beast. Leather armor that protects without restricting his movement too much. Carries several maps and scrolls that mark out routes used by traders, natural hazards, and the like to make traveling easier, this mostly for areas he has never been himself.
Also has a tendency to have an assortment of random junk on him, because you never know when that sort of thing might be valuable.
Skills: Has basic combat skills, specifically with spear type weaponry, and is adept at riding most any beast that can be mounted, whether it be a beast of burden or a war beast. Also knows how to use ranged weaponry, though he is less skilled at that.
He is also a merchant, skilled at negotiation and bartering, as well as appraising the value and worth of goods. Has a trained memory to remember places, faces, and that sort of thing. Also has some skill in working with less than legal elements in society, giving him access to resources that normal people wouldn't be able to call upon.
Personality: Tybalt is self confident, to the point of being cocky. At the same time though, he has a quick wit and a tendency for scheming, and as a result he can hold grudges, though it may not seem it. Values family and the efforts that one may take to help their family, even at their own expense. Otherwise though, he seems like a perfectly agreeable person who has an eye for the long game He also likes to enjoy the finer things in life, with e penchant for wine and literature.
Background: Born to a minor clan in the traveling life of the Clans, he knew hard work and ambition from a young age. He managed to become a journeyman to a more successful merchant. He was able to travel, and built up connections across Auriga for a time. Growing up, he eventually struck out into business for himself, departing on good terms with his mentor.
After that he built himself up, starting small businesses that he managed to divest himself of for a profit. With that, some skill, and good luck, he worked himself upwards, eventually taking over leadership of his clan with the death of his father and the approval of the rest of the Clan, and becoming a major trade mogul after a time, managing affairs across many of the major cities of Auriga. He made many enemies in the process, but that has not deterred him in his rise. With that growth in his business and prestige, he worked it into a position on the Council of the Roving Clans, the closest thing the disparate group has to a national leadership. Now he has volunteered to assist the Tribunal in their goals. All out of the goodness of his heart, of course.
