Annette frowned, radiating displeasure as she stood inside her room. "Well, this is unfortunate," she commented with tasteful understatement as she looked on her latest problem. She had been preparing, checking to make sure that she had everything she needed for the ball later, only to find that she was in a bit of a situation. No thanks to her roommate, which wasn't too much of a surprise.

"Just a bit," Chloe agreed with a nod and some chagrin, glancing over at her mistake. It was her fault, yeah, but she didn't consider it that bad on the whole. She'd make up for it, somehow.

A sigh issued forth as Annette looked down at the mangled dress, destroyed by the washing machine as a result of Chloe messing with it while washing her own clothes. Admittedly Annette probably should not have left it in as long as she did, but her roommate should have checked to make sure there was nothing in there. Now it was ruined, and she didn't have anything suitable to wear now. Wonderful.

Chloe nervously chuckled as she rubbed the back of her neck. "Well hey, it isn't that bad. You've got other stuff to wear to this thing, right?"

Annette shook her head at that point. "Sadly, no," she admitted with more than a hint of reluctance. She'd been meaning to get similar clothes, but had never gotten around to it. Now she supposed she had a reason to, if no choice in the matter. She couldn't go to a ball without looking good.

"EHeheh, alright." Chloe winced a bit. This was annoying, but not amazing for her roommate, to be honest. She'd grown used to it, though this was particularly unfortunate timing, to say the least.

She sighed once more before putting on her shoes and getting her wallet. Well, she had no choice but to go shopping. "I'll be back later," she commented before heading out the door and moving down the street towards the nearest clothes store. Better to gt this over with now rather than later. And hopefully there would be no problems in the process.
I really wanted to do an Aldnoah.Zero roleplay because I plan to watch it soon but I was hoping that if everything goes well, we can do that in the future and do a RWBY roleplay in the meantime? OCs or canon, it doesn't matter.

How does that sound?

Ah, Aldnoah.Zero. Such fun, such pain.

Anyway, I would be fine with a RWBY RP, PM me and we can work something out.

Sins of a Solar Empire.
I'm really interested in how this would work out..if you still have room.

I do indeed, and you're the first to be interested in that particular fandom. There are certainly a lot of options, so PM me with what you're looking for in terms of story, and we'll hash it out.
Are you still available?

At this point, yes, I am.
Um. Wow. Fastest Primordial battle ever.

And this is why Miyako is glad she didn't bother.
It was another sunny day in the state of California, and the vibrant city of Los Angeles. People went about their day, shopping, relaxing, working, and suntanning on the beaches, with barely a concern in the world. Certainly none of them had any worry for the meteor shower that had been reported by NASA recently, except perhaps as a spectacle to watch at some point should the time of day and the weather favor it. But otherwise, it was business as usual

That was the same thing that could be said for Alex Daniels, currently enjoying some well earned vacation time courtesy of the US Army. He wouldn't get the opportunity to be here long, but while he had it he planned to enjoy it, like any sane and rational being would when in one of the largest cities on the West Coast. Then he'd be off to some third world desert country soon enough and suffering, but until then there was no point in moping around and waiting.

Close cut brown hair, blue eyes, muscular, currently wearing a tank top and khaki shorts as well as sunglasses, Alex was enjoying himself as he walked along the beach, checking out the waves, the surfers, and the girls. It was practically impossible to not do so, and he could not be blamed for it, based on where he was. Just another benefit of the city and the climate.

He came to a rest near a dock, looking over the waterline as he drank from a bottle of coke. Just another day, and he was already enjoying it.
Miyako glanced over surreptitiously as the Contractor spoke, somehow unsurprised to find him at her school. She had assumed that it might take him a bit longer given that she had just moved and transferred schools, but that was obviously not the case. Well, she could live with it, so long as he didn't make too much of a nuisance of himself. It was how she'd worked with him before, in her old town.

"Who says I'm not," she whispered over to him, in a way that would allow her to talk without people noticing that something was odd. She really didn't need to be seen as the girl who talked to herself, if she could help it. But magical girl powers were useful like that, as she had learned over time.

She jotted down a note as she glanced over at the creature, finishing that before speaking up once more. "Anyway, it's easier for me to be a magical girl if I'm near the middle of the pack, rather than sticking out. This way no one notices me and I can devote more time to killing Primordials and saving people." She shrugged then in addition. "Besides, I just moved here. I'm still getting adjusted." As far as she was concerned it was the truth, due to how curriculums varied between schools and regions. Once she got used to it then she could make her deception that much better.

She turned her attention back to working then, jotting down notes and answering the occasional question that she felt confident in doing. It was how she had done things in her previous school, and it seemed that it would serve her well here. She didn't need the bother of having to exert herself at school when she already did the same as a magical girl in her fights.

Then the ripple, and she felt it as her gaze turned in that direction, towards the Primordial that had appeared. Well, that was unfortunate. But still, she wasn't overly worried about it. It wasn't as if there was an overabundance of magical girls in this city. They could handle it as far as she was concerned, and she couldn't really afford to ditch on the first day she was here.

She grunted, shifting slightly away from the Contractor as he rubbed against her cheek. "Nah," she replied, managing to repress a shake of her head. "Calling out the whole gang for a single Primordial is overkill, and even if there's more than one, there are enough veterans to handle it." Of course, she didn't know exactly where it was, but as far as she was concerned, it wasn't her problem until someone who wasn't currently in school called for her help.

So for now, she wrote, and worked her school day away.
As I've said, he's only really here for the comedy. He'll be gone soon enough.

Exactly. We're expendable. Crowley can't risk Touma vanishing off into the wilds of the multiverse on him
Er... Well... I'll get Kakine's section up next post.

Heh, that was some timing there.

Anyway, I have a feeling that touching the pocket dimension hat with the 'nullify all magic' hand is not a good idea.
Misaka 10,032, Academy City

The Sister held back a wince or other display as Aleister revealed that he was already aware of the situation at hand. Well, so much for that plan then. At least she knew that the punishment wouldn't be too bad. He needed the two of them, and if she vanished then it would certainly invite wrath from Touma and her Older Sister when they found out. Which was a combination that even Crowley had to be aware of.

"'Understood,' Misaka says as she hides her appreciation of the augmentation of her goggles to emit conversation without any sort of audio function," Misaka commented whilst in motion. They couldn't delay, as was obvious. It was just a matter of hoping that no large scale incident sparked before they arrived.

That was all they could do, though the Network told her that other Sisters were approaching the area. It was just a matter of seeing who got there first, and how much trouble Marisa would put up.
Shivani versus Dante? Would that really be a fair fight? He's slain Satan... Several times. And he can like, teleport, without a recharge.

Probably not, but she doesn't know that.
