It's alright. Don't feel like you have to rush on my account. I can be patient.
Erich nodded as Rikke explained what being around a black hole was like, impressed to say the least. He'd heard that it was the closest one could get to hell on a ship, if only factoring in the gravity and not relativity or the like. Call it a nightmare to find yourself stuck while everyone else moved at real time around you. Which hadn't happened in some time, but there were always stories of that sort of thing.

He shifted as she did, turning his attention away form the window and to her, though he did rest against it with his elbow serving as a prop at the same time. A moment was given to consider her question, before he provided an answer to it, foot tapping idly in the process. "Neutron stars are interesting. They can look great, but you still have all that radiation to deal with. You have to turn off all unnecessary electronics and basically run silent when around one, so your computer systems don't get fried. But yes, they produce light."

The next question took him by surprise, but he was in a good mood and willing to entertain it. It couldn't hurt, right? Everyone had their reasons to be in the military, especially in the Rebel faction. "I lost my family during the Entrenchment phase. After that, it seemed like the natural thing to do," he explained with a shrug, having put some distance between himself and that event. "What about yourself?" Fair was only fair after all.
Miyako is closest to Himedere. I can see it, though she doesn't really flaunt it. But she believes that she's the best and let's people know it. Otherwise she's close to Deredere
Nono, Castle Tepes

Nono nodded in understanding as the Queen pointed out that they didn't actually know when the Shadow Eternity would show up. Well, she could deal with that, since she was patient. And then she would have the opportunity to help out around the Castle too, which certainly wasn't a problem. She had to earn her keep somehow, even if they were providing security already.

"Right," she agreed before glancing over at Saber as she spoke up, offering her services in organizing the defense. Well, that hardly needed any discussion, given her skillset and her history. If anyone was qualified to do this sort of thing, it would be her. And this time the comment was not biased in any way.

She smiled, nodding her approval. "Of course. I can't think of anyone better," she admitted before looking back to the Queen. "Is there anything else we need to know?" If not, then she was prepared to help out in any way that she could. Better to be prepared now than taken by surprise, though those sorts of details could be left to Saber in the end, and she rocked on her heels as she waited for an answer

Cinder Fall, Museum

Cinder was calm as her captors debated what to do before Blake approached. Calmly, she offered up her arms for whatever they choose to restrain her with. She didn't mind either way, since she was more looking forward to seeing what her permanent incarceration would be like. This sort of thing was no long term hindrance, and so she gave it the little concern that it was worth.

"Careful there," she advised as Blake pulled her arms behind her back, adding a wince to it from the plasma wounds that had not healed yet, a surge of pain running through her back. It didn't matter too much, since the pain only served as an incentive, but she didn't exactly say as such. She had a feeling they wouldn't appreciate it, and letting them know would probably hinder her overall plan. She couldn't risk it.

Extra weapons there were not, but there were vials of Dust strapped to her belt. All the usual colors that one would expect, as well as a stranger Black Dust, which gave off a disturbing feeling within a close radius. That would indicate that it was not a good thing, but fortunately there wasn't much of it. When she had finished, Cinder shifted on her feet, quiet as she waited for them to lead her away.

But if it were like that, there should be witches around. And we should definitely be on the race against the doomsday clock 'cause if no one stops Walpurgis Nacht, the world would be reset again. You should remember that after Homura made her wish, she basically trapped the whole Earth on an endless one month time loop until she could save Madoka. Nevertheless, things play different in each iteration and the canon characters die in different ways always, in fact, as per Urobochi's own words, Sayaka is supposed to die even if no one else does (she absolutely never survives a reset because shes too idealistic).

In many ways, when you deal with a story based around time travelling and reality warping it doesn't make a difference if you're in an alternative timeline or on a prequel/sequel.

I had two thoughts. One, it's an alternate timeline, due to the fact that she reality jumps while going back in time, so therefore it wouldn't be unfeasible to find a timeline where these Primordial things exist rather than Witches. That would also explain the apparent lack of time stopping murderhobo killing the plot, because Homura doesn't exist here (yet). And it's not like time just stops after Homura hits her personal reset button. It goes on afterwards. Homura didn't trap the Earth in a time loop, she trapped herself. And it was reasonable, from my perspective, that this was one possible variation.

Alternatively, it was an actual sequel, with the Primordials being the results of (one of) Madoka's wishes rather than Wraiths. This was less likely though, since then Sayaka wouldn't be alive in the first place and Kyoko would be in Mitakihara. But it was a possibility, given the lack of any corruption cleaning mechanism, and it naturally going away on it's own.

So yeah, still not obvious to me until Windel basically said it.
I see no reason why this is a problem when they'll end up coming back anyway. In case it hasn't been obvious to this point and as KoL mentioned, this is a prequel RP in which everything eventually falls into the canon.

I can't speak for anyone else, but it was decidedly not obviously a prequel RP to me. I assumed it was just another timeline, like the humdred variants that Homura went through.
I still choose to believe that it was a Shadow Clone and not the actual Kyoko, because I'm still not a fan of name dropping canon characters solely to kill them.
Oh shoot. Not good, at all. In hindsight, perhaps using some foresight or tact in the conversation would have been a good idea, but it was a bit late for that now. Well, the situation wasn't totally unsalvageable, and it wasn't as if this would torpedo anything otherwise important. Annette could manage, such as she always did.

So, option 1. That being, simply laugh it off, or something similar to that. So she bowed, respectfully, as she answered. "My apologies Shirai," she said. Then a moment between that before going on. "For the time that I've lived in Japan, and the fact that I speak the language, somehow that hasn't gotten easier," she sighed. That and the trouble with her roommate, but they didn't need to know about that. Hopefully that would do to patch things over.

That'd be part of it, but the sheer persistence of it is impressive.

For my part in this RP, I genuinely forgot, and keeping stuff like that straight in an RP is frankly a hassle that I tend to slack a bit on. If we're talking in canon, don't ask me.
