>That awkward moment when you learn the religious revival movement you were headin was actually a vehicle for a Lovecraftian Abomination masquerading as a God to jack your body and take over the world

>That moment when you realize that you can only do fandom RPs because you're bad at original characters. This is what I get for never playing DnD

I'm just hedging my bets, that's all :P

Far as characters go, my avvie is a clear sign of that one. Because if SRW can make Shinji a good character, it can do the same thing for Slaine.
OTOH there was stuff like the Machina army basically owning Sector Theta, but because the Machina players didn't specifically go and cap that point, it was like they were neutral. Further proving that in this game NPC's are literally useless :V
In mid motion Alex found himself with the Relic, and he was able to take a moment to examine it even as he moved for the exit of the ruins. It was a sword, short and light in his grip. He had his bit of experience using swords, sure, though he hadn't been expecting the Relic would be one. Then again he hadn't really been sure what to expect in the first place, so it didn't pose a problem beyond carrying his active tome and the relic at the same time. He'd dealt with worse as far as transporting goods went.

"Well, I was so looking to stick around and enjoy seeing how much of a tan I could get, but I suppose I can put that off until later," Alex agreed as he snapped out of his examination, hurrying forward only to be cut off by the massive stone blocks that fell and blocked the exit to the room itself. Fortunately the twins didn't get crushed, but it did leave them with rapidly declining options for has to how they would actually get out of here.

It looked like they had no choice but to go through the portal nearby, and he shrugged before jumping through ahead of the Twins. not sure why they were taking longer but more than ready to get out of here now that he had some sort of treasure for all that effort that he had invested in getting to this point.

He took a moment to get his breath back, panting and dragging in each lungful of air as if it would be his last. It had been like a heist after all, albeit a more much dust filled heist than he was used to, and without the getting shot at that his bad heists tended to have. Not that he minded not getting shot at of course. But once he had recovered from all the running, the next thing he did was brush off all the dust and dirt that had gotten on his clothes and he returned his Tome to an inactive status. It wasn't like he needed it anymore.

Only then did he look around to see that they had wound up in the streets of Infinitum, much to his surprise. He was as surprised as the rest of them, and honestly he wasn't sure why they hadn't attracted a larger crowd than they had thus far. This wasn't really a typical occurrence here, as far as he knew.

While the twins wondered what to do, he was taken off guard as the sword he held became a gem once again, and it seemed to almost slip out of his grasp and into his pocket. "Well that was weird," he noted aloud with a frown. How did that work anyway? He really hoped it wouldn't become a sword inside his pocket, since he had no desire to be filled with additional holes while he was sitting down or something.

Stepping over to the twins, he looked on in confusion to see that they had brought the robot from the ruins with them, for what purpose he couldn't determine. "I plan on having a nice hot meal and a long drink, I don't know about you guys," he said with a grin as he answered Sienna's question, before gesturing to Nebula. "Uh, do we know if she's going to work without the gem? Cause dragging her halfway across the city doesn't sound like that much fun to me."
Interested as well. Might be terrible, might work out. We'll see.
Bump or somthing. Until I work out a new interest check anyway
You got exactly what you wanted KoL. If it seemed lackluster then you have no one to blame but yourself.
Aright, so Miyu was never rescued, right? Suppose her and Henry have some things to discuss before the next battle.

We tried. I promise. ;_;
I watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica Rebellion for the first time last night :/

Please don't be quite that savage to us xD

@Mae was waiting for this moment~
IF

A sigh escaped as Charmeine revealed that her world could possibly be restored, addressing a worry that several others had voiced (and which IF had as well, even if she hadn't asked right then and there). Well, they would just have to work on that wouldn't they? Once they got that core back, which probably wouldn't be an easy feat to accomplish.

Before she could answer though there was an interruption, revealing that apparently their opponent was already on the move to her first destinations, and two whole worlds no less. The monitor was impressive, but that sense of timing left something to be desired, earning a sigh from IF as she watched.

The others seemed eager to go, and she would be no less ready as a smile broke out, IF taking a step forward. "Like they said, can't exactly stay behind now can I? Where are they headed?" She had no problem adventuring, but if she could have some idea of what she was plunging into then it would be a bit more useful.

Ulith

The pale girl watched with continued interest as Zuriel revealed that she might not be entirely there when it came down to it, even if she continued to show off the power that she had. Her sword ripping two holes into space was definitely a sign of that, impressive even for someone like her. Zuriel was seeming more and more like Mayu with every moment, albeit with a touch of insanity to make things more exciting.

Well then, which world should she go to? They were fairly evenly divided at this point, and all told she was less confident of her ability to handle magical police. Besides, that sort of thing would probably end up being boring. If she was going to do this then she wanted to have some excitement along the way.

A nod on her part then as she stepped towards the chosen portal. "I'll go with them," she said as she gestured towards the portal to the hitman world. "See you on the other side Zuriel." With that she stepped through, ready for whatever might be waiting for them on the other side.
Masae Kanegawa

Wrapped up in her thoughts, Masae almost missed the sound of Aderyn calling out after her. Fortunately she caught on quick, slowing down to allow her roommate and friend to catch up to her so they could walk side by side. This was very convenient, wasn't it. Not that she was complaining by any stretch of the imagination.

"Oh, hello Aderyn," she said with a smile as she kept moving at her slower pace for the sake of her roommate. She knew about Aderyn's medical issues, but quite honestly the fact that you couldn't really see it made it easier to ignore. That didn't mean that she wouldn't be conscious of her issues and accommodating for that though. There was no reason to act like a jerk about it. "I didn't realize you were here."

It answered the question of whether she would find Aderyn back at their apartment, and she listened quietly as her companion produced a flier with an advertisement for a coffee shop on it. Taking the paper she looked it over, not outright objecting the option as she actually read the thing. Well, somebody certainly knew their way around a bit of graphic design.

At last she was satisfied and handed the paper back, flashing her companion a smile. "Well, I don't really drink coffee but I don't see why not," she agreed without hesitation. It wouldn't be much of a surprise as far as her drink preferences were concerned, but she was nonetheless willing to go. It would be a poor coffee shop if they didn't have stuff for people who might not be interested in having some coffee at the moment.

"How's your day been," she asked as they drew near the entrance to the school. They had the time to chat, after all.
