Tartys

The sudden applause did not prove to completely stop Tartys, though it did take her off guard. But she composed herself to finish with a last strumming note before looking towards the talkative audience member, who seemed vibrant, rough, and energetic. The way he quickly leapt down to begin speaking to her indicated as such, though she did notice that some of the rest of the audience didn't approve of that and were already moving to leave.

Shaking her head, fingers gently brushed against the strings of the harp as she took a brief pause in her playing. "No," she confirmed. "It was a gift for recent successes." Well, that was what she would like to imagine it was anyways. Doubtlessly Hohenheim had some other purpose in mind, but who was she to fathom the mind of the mad scientist?

The song request did earn a light smirk, if only because of how familiar it sounded to her. "Sadly I am not that sort of purveyor. I would suggest checking with the dwarves," she offered, before resuming her song. This would be in a lighter volume though, to allow them to continue talking if this angel wanted to do so. She'd had her share of drunken shenanigans in recent days, and had no real desire to encourage it at the moment.

Tatiana Lorenz

Tatiana was busy preparing the next test for herself when she found the familiar face approaching her once again, with Bastion impressed by the display of power that Tatiana had just done on the range. Seeing the arrival of her friend, it brought an end to the test for the moment, though she did not feel bad about interrupting it. There would be plenty of time to practice later.

"Good morning," she said as she turned to face Bastion, lowering her hand as she relaxed against the table next to her. She was feeling much better than previously, if only since she had come out alive, and it allowed her to wonder on other factors, such as the shock her friend had. Surely this wasn't that unusual, for a member of the Machina. Even she had seen odder things.

"A gift from the Mad Scientist," she explained smoothly. "She found some way to amplify my latent psionic abilities, which were further improved through neural augments. At the moment I'm just experimenting to see what the extent of my new powers are." Telekinesis obviously, in addition to what she could do before, but the rest she wasn't entirely sure on it. "How are you doing?"

@TheWindel
By the way, @Flamelord & @The 42nd Gecko, answer me a thing before I write anything, just to avoid any misunderstandings. Are Alex and Meihou together?

Yes, they are in the same place right now, currently moving way from Stark Zealot
Feeling the building shake was not the best experience that Alex had ever felt, even though it was definitely preferable to Zealot coming after them directly. Doing so in a small confined space like this might not exactly be a winning move for them, given that he was doubtlessly a strong close range fighter. They might be pinned in a spot like those.

Noting the pulse from the Blue Relic, Alex glanced over to his current companion. She definitely had a unique appearance, with an armor style that was one he hadn't really seen before, and a staff that she seemed to have quite a bit of experience with. Tough to, with how quick she was to move after crashing through his roof. And the fact that she was with him now indicated that she at least had some common sense, as opposed to some blind desire to charge to the attack.

"I'm not," he replied with a shake of his head. "Though you have some good timing. A half hour earlier and I wouldn't have been here." He still had no idea why she had crashed through his roof, but the possibility of her being a bounty hunter seemed a bit unlikely at the moment. It could be that she was just trying to get him away from Stark for that, but she didn't really have the demeanor of a person he would expect for it.

An eyebrow rose as she seemed to hit the nail on the head, much to his surprise. What were the odds of that? "As it turns out, yes," he confirmed after a moment, though he made no effort to produce the Relic even though he had affirmed her suspicion. "It likes to harass me." That said, he could only focus on what she had said. There were two more of them already? They really were popping out of the woodwork.

Fortunately getting out of here was not that difficult, given how his escape route had been prepared. The passageway they now found themselves in was relatively short, the walls and ceiling wooden and stone like the rest of the building. He quickly strode along to the other end of the passage as he lifted his Tome. Quick jabs would remove the loose mortar from the cracks, releasing the seal that had been present there. A quick push allowed the segment of the wall that had been modified to swing open, admitting them onto the street proper.

Though they were out of the building, Alex did not take it easy as he began moving. "So, what's your name? Generally people don't just drop out of the sky on me." They had to move fast, but already he was settling back into a confident mindset. Now they just had to get out of here before Zealot brought in any more help.

FTFY :V
@Flamelord Ok, I've got two plans for getting us out of the building.

"Seeing they were in an apartment building, which are typically long but narrow, Monkey took a couple of loping steps and was out of the building."

"Seeing Titania had managed to reach her destination in the time it had taken Monkey to fall forty feet, hold a few lines of dialogue, and then fall another thirty or so, Monkey's staff was only a couple hundred feet away. It whipped back to her almost instantly, being much faster without carrying Titania's weight, and then Monkey transformed into something helpful. Like I dunno, a pillar."

The second idea is funny, but it will probably end up being something closer to the first when I have the time to post.
On the one hand Broker is right. On the other hand she also decided to become a mole without telling any of the people she would be serving as a mole for beforehand, throwing the legitimacy of her claims and any information she might send into doubt.

Coincidentally, is there a cooldown timer or a lock on faction jumping in DGO? I would assume so, since merely having to check off a box to change your faction allegiance seems pretty easy to abuse otherwise, but I don't see anything about it on the OP.
@KoL Yes, but how does one tame a raging dragon?

I suggest steak. Lots of steak.
No wonder Ira needs to scold you all. Hell sucks.

To be fair the advantages, like Bastion and the Ruthria stuff, kinda bounced around like ping pong balls.

Besides, you somehow imply that this actually makes a difference in the grand scheme of things :P
Machina: +Bastion, +Big Share of Ruthuria treasure, +nebulous Leviathan slaying buffs? Or did those stay with the sword which went back to Diana.

Yeah, the Leviathan killing buffs were with the sword, so that's gone.
With what Windel had posted I figured faction leaders would be praising/chewing us out before the new battle started anyways. So I'm not going to complain
