Kuriotes

Valeran wore a satisfied smirk as the vessel they had targeted was disabled, left adrift and unable to fight back. The fighting still carried on to some degree, and they were left to decide what to do now. It would be easy enough to finish off this ship and move on, though their assistance hardly seemed needed in the battle. There were more than enough combatants on both sides to keep each other occupied.

Before she could do anything, Retris spoke up. "I'm picking up multiple gravitational anomalies forming in the immediate area. We seem to be out of their radius but I don't know how long that will last." Her projections showed what she was saying, red bubbles of space where gravity had been changed appearing and engulfing many of the ships present. Meanwhile, the rest of the ships in the area began to flee, leaving them alone for now.

Though nothing was said, she knew that the crew were looking to her for directions. There was no point in staying here, no way home that they could see. Yet they also had the opportunity to learn more about where they had ended up. It was an opportunity she would be foolish to pass by. "Retris, begin looking for a functional Phase Space Jump to a nearby system, and keep an eye on those gravitational anomalies. If they expand, we need to be prepared to leave, and there is no use in remaining in deep space."

"Understood," Retries agreed, console flickering as she focused and began looking for Jump Routes.

Valeran then turned to the other matter at hand, tapping into their communications to the disabled vessel that remained nearby. "Disabled ship, surrender your vessel and deliver yourself to the will of the Unity. Do so and you will receive fair treatment. Refuse, and you shall be destroyed."

Time to see how difficult they made this for her.
Gonna admit, I don't really know anything about Mirror's Edge besides it having parkour. But I do have a picture for a character that I think would fit, so I'm tentatively willing to throw my hat into the ring
Alicia Hayden

Taken off guard by someone who wasn't Penny, and who decidedly wasn't Mariette or any of the others that she would have expected, Alicia glanced back over her shoulder to see who it was. The initial confusion lasted for a few seconds before she recognized it as that girl from the hospital fight, who had somehow wound up here. Shrugging off the hand, she couldn't help but glare at Shannon. "I'm surprised you're here," she remarked with edge in her tone. "I figured you'd be trying to find a way to peacefully convince Justine to not destroy the world. Since people can change their ways."

Okay, yeah, she was still a bit bitter about that whole thing. She hadn't been caught in the best mood.

While Shannon made herself scarce, Alicia's attention was drawn away by the arrival of her Beckoner. Her head bowed as it remarked on what had happened, only to rise and gain a light smile at the reassurance it provided before producing the tracker she had brought with and activating it. She felt...better. She hadn't forgiven herself yet, but knowing it wasn't held against her took a weight off of her shoulders.

Rising to her feet, she did her best to compose herself, brush away her tears, and put on a strong face for the reinforcements as they had arrived. She wasn't sure how many there would be, so even the five that came through could not disappoint her expectations. "I wasn't sure how tough it would be, so I wanted to make sure you guys had a clear road to Justine," she explained ay Sylvia's comment before gesturing to the castle that was standing basically next to them. "She's in there, some of the others already went ahead so they could probably use the help."

Rubbing the back of her neck, she shot them a chagrined look. "I'd have called a bit sooner but I got dropped in a lake, and then frozen." That sort of thing was a bit of a deterrent.

Listening to the directions given, Alicia nodded before hurrying towards the castle with the others as they began. She trusted Sylvia could take care of Penny, so she wasn't going to unduly worry about that. In a fight like this, distractions could mean your death, so she needed to stay focused. Even if she was tapped out on mana, she could still be of use.

She'd only made it a few steps before she heard something that brought her short. Glancing round, her eyes widened as she spotted Kimble moving, somehow still alive in spite of getting hit so hard by the ship earlier. She wasn't going to ask how she had managed that, but she hurried over without answering Sally to get a better look. Dropping down to her knees, she looked over the magical girl to assess how bad her wounds were, before rooting through her stuff to find some of those medicinal herbs she carried as part of her hoodoo knowledge. Hopefully they had survived the swim and being frozen.

As she did so, she called back to Sally. "This one's still alive," she explained, before looking to Kimble. "Shhh, don't move. It's okay, you're safe now." She wasn't sure if Kimble could hear her, but it was worth making the effort.

Looking to Sally, she nodded towards the castle. "You go on ahead. I'm tapped out on mana so I'll catch up once I'm done here." They couldn't afford to waste time, and Sally would be more useful joining everyone in fighting Justine than she would be. That said, she returned to doing what she could for Kimble, chewing up and applying the herbs (if she could find any), and otherwise doing what first aid she knew. It would have to be a temporary fix, until they could shift her back to a Beacon medic.

Hopefully the castle didn't explode while she was busy

Too late
I appreciate your dedication to the cause
Alicia Hayden

Alicia grinned, flush with victory as she vanquished one of Justine's servants. After everything that Justine had done, the people she had kidnapped, it was one step closer to getting some semblance of justice for those lost-

Any thought of that was wiped from her mind As Doris seemed to shake off some kind of stupor, her eyes widening in shock. But it was too late, there was no way to stop her forward motion as she stabbed the girl in the chest. She stumbled back from shock, releasing the blade and letting it fade away even as Doris collapsed and her Ice Golem melted into the snow. It even overwhelmed the sound of Penny's destruction, the explosion in the lake and debris being scattered all around.

"No. No no nononono." Panic rising in her features, Alicia dropped to her knees as she stumbled forward to grasp at Doris' body with shaking hands. "Please don't. Stay with me. Stay with me!" Even as she said it she knew that it was too late. She wasn't a healer, there was nothing that she could do for a wound this severe.

Ice clutched at her heart, threatening to strangle her. It took all that she had not to vomit from the realization that had been made in those few hectic moments. These girls, all of them. They were being controlled by Justine, not working for her voluntarily. And she hadn't once considered that, just done her best to cut them down. How could she have been so stupid? And now it was too late. Tears rolled down her cheeks as sobs seized her chest, head bowed as she pounded at the ground in self punishment for her idiocy. "I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry."

It wasn't fair, and there was no way to fight the guilt that crashed down on her shoulders. Doris had been a magical girl like her, her own wishes, people who cared about her, and she had just torn that all away. How could she claim to be a member of Beacon, to be working for a better world, when she'd just killed someone without a second thought? In that eternity she only wished that she could take it all back, but that was never going to be that chance. she had to live with this, and hated herself for it.

She fell silent for a bit, teeth grinding with her fists still clenched as she released the sadness that she felt. Only when it occurred to her that the others didn't know this either did she speak up again. "Beckoner," she said without looking away from Doris. "If reinforcements are coming, now is the time. The path is clear. And tell them just to disable, not to kill the girls working for Justine. I think they can still be saved."

Not that it would make up for this. She didn't think she could ever make up for what she had just done....
Please, as if I'd be scared of a ship that doesn't even have shields :P

I mentioned this before:

1). If it's done, then my presence in this RP is over.

2). They won't be affected by the order for reasons I've explained several pages back.

I don't actually think it will happen, I just question the wisdom of bringing an unrestrained pissed off sith lord onto your ship. Vell doesn't even have the High Ground to give himself an advantage

Define... thrashing.

Order 66 :V
@Lmpkio Man, the Advent and Vell are going to have some interesting conversations if he survives the thrashing he's about to get
