A fable typically tells a story about common flaws such as pride or greed. A fairy tale features people/creatures fighting "evil" with magic or practical solutions. At the end of a fairy tale positive characters are rewarded for their good actions while negative characters are punished for their bad deeds. The moral implications can be stated by the author or readers may draw their own conclusions. In a fable the moral of the story is either told by a character or by the author. If you want good examples of fables try Aesop's Fables. I hope this helps.

Ryan turned to his brother in shock. "I think the fact that you just had a reasonable idea is the most shocking thing I've experienced today. And I just watched an alien fall from the sky." Ryan turned back to Estella and frowned. "I can't believe I'm saying this. Dead-Act, I need you to watch her and make sure she doesn't wander away. I'm... Oh god, I'm counting on you." He turned back to the school and jumped through a window. He headed to the principal's office and shuddered. Ryan knocked on the door three times and waited in front of the door.

Ryan was was a bit surprised. He was just walking around when he saw a pod crash into the front yard of the school. He was slightly more surprised when he saw someone get out if it. He opened the first floor window and did a jump out towards the pod. "Hey whoa! You alright?" Ryan suddenly realised he was talking to an alien of some sort and face palmed. She probably didn't even speak English. "Do you speak English?" He asked calmly.

Ryan nodded at Kijani's response and had a rare genuine smile on his face. Glad to see she's lightened up a bit. He then began thinking about her comment. He frowned and continued walking to class. After a couple of minutes he stopped. "I think I'll take that as a challenge." Ryan said to no one but the voices in his head who would not shut up about how amazing @floodtalon was. His usual cocky grin came back up and he continued his walk.

Ryan continued walking through the hallway when he saw Connor and Kijani. "Get a room." He muttered as he walked by them. He looked at his watch and smiled. Almost time for the next class.
