Ryan just kinda shook his head as the Shadow tried to get them to leave. Honestly he should feel bad about attacking something clearly sentient and willing to let them leave. But after facing his Shadow, he kinda just didn't like Shadows. Add the fact that he wanted to know what was going on in this bizarre mirror world and he really wanted to kill this jolly green giant.

Mako scolded Samuru for trying to get everyone to back out and Ryan sighed. "Do you want to stick around here? You seem like you really don't want to fight and to be quite honest you're gonna get hurt with that kind of attitude. I agree with Mako wholeheartedly, if we stop training and exploring then somebody else is gonna be kidnapped, and we won't be able to save them when they face their Shadow. I don't know about you, but I'm not letting anyone die because I was too weak." There was a determined fire in Ryan's eyes as he said this.

He turned to the Shadow and summoned Geraint, preparing his new move. "Let's do this. Israfil blew on his trumpet and weakened the Shadow severely, while Geraint lifted his sword, the laser blade growing larger as he swung at Zouchouten. "Geraint! Dumnonia's King's Rally!" Geraint struck Zouchouten with all his might, as he did so everyone in the party would feel themselves getting a major temporary boost in power as they all gained a Concentrate/Charge status. Their next blow would be twice as strong as normal, so they needed to use their strongest attack. Ryan was breathing hard as Geraint's sword shrank back to its normal size, that was way more tiring then he expected. Definitely not something he could spam over and over.
Kibbe, Wandering Mage

The ice attack waa very effective and the Dodongo knew it, as it was now cautiously circling Kibbe and Nikou in its attempt to flee. That wasn't gonna happen any time soon. Another circle formed in the air as more ice spikes shot towards the Dodongo, Kibbe also noted in the back of his mind how Nikou was covering any escape routes that the Dodongo could bolt for, smart move. Kibbe didn't do the same, he wouldn't be very good as a physical wall.

It was also kinda funny how the two smugglers were holding each other in fear like that. Losers.

Mako was scolding Samuru about the whole negotiating thing. Ryan felt like he should speak up about this issue. "Honestly, I think he was right to try and negotiate. Talking shadows tend to have a history of disappearing after being talked to. Though sometimes it doesn't work I guess." Sato voiced his opinion and Ryan shrugged. Time to go grab their reward.

Ryan followed the rest of the group into the hut and was a bit hesitant about the card thing. You never know what kind of weird magic was going on around Seto. Maybe these cards sucked in your soul when you touched them... Samuru mentioned Yu-Gi-Oh and Ryan had to hold back a chuckle. He was being paranoid, Ryan grabbed a card and felt the knowledge of Rakunda flow into him. Disappointing. But now he knows that these exist, he can imagine the possibilities. Perhaps there were cards that held strong skills, stronger than the ones he already has.

The group left the hut and Sato asked whether they should use Zeke immediately or not. "I say we hold off, besides I wanted to test something out on this Shadow. Mako should hit it with the Debilitate then I'll do my new thing. Is everyone cool with that?" Ryan could feel the new power within Geraint. It was begging to be released, the rallying cry of a king.

Ryan moved beside Sato, watching Samuru rush the Shadows as they were... picnicking? Also these Shadows looked super weird. There were two Unicorns and a giant starfish with a Cyclops eye. They claimed they were having a picnic and Ryan was beginning to tune them out when a Unicorn shot off a Zionga at them.

Samuru attempted to negotiate with them, which really said a lot about both him and Ryan considering he was about to just let loose with a Garudyne and eviscerate them. Negotiation failed and Samuru let loose with Deathbound, shredding the Decarabia. Samuru was really trying to let them go, but the time for talk was over.

"Come on out, Geraint!" As Ryan crushed his Persona card and pointed at one of the Unicorns, a regal figure dressed entirely in white and gold wielding a massive blade of energy appeared above him, his wings splayed out in full glory. Geraint flapped it's wings hard and a small tornado formed around one of the Unicorns, tearing it apart within seconds. Dyne spells are very strong apparently.

As they moves into the first area of Seto everybody noticed a weird mirror floating in the air, Sato said that it would lead to the last area they had been in. Ryan shrugged and climbed through after Sato, immediately feeling a change in pressure.

Ryan looked around to make sure nothing would surprise them, but Ayano didn't mention any Shadows so it was probably safe. Probably. Looks like this is a safe area then. Makes sense that the Mirror wouldn't drop them in the middle of a group of enemies. They exited the village and appriached an open field, there was a forest behind them but they had managed to go around it with the Mirror. Handy thing. Hopefully it would do that often because it seemed like Seto was a lot bigger than he initially thought. Ryan breathed in deeply as he realized he was subconsciously holding his breath. This was definitely gonna take some getting used to, the question is did he want to get used to this oppressive place?

Ryan flinched as Zeke screeched from behind them, landing on a roof to watch them and provide aerial support. He remembered the first time he saw that thing, it had bombed a bunch of Shadows that had quite frankly been whupping everyone's ass. They scouted ahead, Ayano stayed behind with Zeke, and got to a nearby cliff to survey the land. Ayano told everyone there were Shadows to the east and to the north. Big Shadow at the bridge and small Shadows at the hut.

"I say we head to the hut first. Clear out the trash mobs then deal with the big guy." That's of course assuming they don't immediately come fusing to each other's aid. Which was very possible. Either way Ryan liked exploring as much as possible, he did it in video games and he would do it here.

Ryan was surprised by the embrace between Sato and Mako, but he shrugged it off and exchanged numbers with Samuru. He mentioned something about supplies and Ryan shook his head in the negative. "That's why we have Personas. I'll cast Mediarama if things go bad." If he still had it... what did his new Persona even do? He should probably mention that.

As they stepped in Ryan shuddered. It felt... wrong in here. He would never get used to that. As they walked down the warped streets Ryan decided to bring up his recent change. "Hey guys, I feel like I need to bring something up that happened this morning. I was having a talk with my mom and something weird happened to my Persona afterwards. I don't think it's a bad thing, but it's not Erec anymore. Now it's Geraint."

After he finished talking they arrived at Seto and Ryan frowned. Quite the imposing gate to Seto. Hopefully this wasn't foreshadowing misfortune on their future. Sato told everyone to stick together and Ryan nodded. Splitting up never worked out well, he had seen enough anime to know that. As they journeyed down Samuru asked a very good question. What do we do if we get attacked in the real world.

"Well I carry around knives so I can defend myself, I'm also military trained. But I don't think they'll come after us. We escaped once, there's no sense in attacking again. That would be awkward." Ryan said with a look of uncertainty. He wasn't fully convinced by his own argument to be honest.

Ryan was chilling in the warehouse when he noticed Sato arrive. He walked over to Ryan and he raised a hand in greeting.

"Hey, are you going into the Mirror World as well today?"

Ryan nodded and straightened up a bit from his slouch that he had been in. "Yeah, I figured we didn't have much time to investigate yesterday after everything happened, so we should do so today. I'm also interested in the whole meal thing, in the Velvet Room. Might check that out later." He shrugged at the end of his statement, kinda weird that they were eating to power up Personas.

"Say, do you have my phone number yet? It'd probably be a good idea to exchange numbers, seeing as we're stuck relaying messages through Rui to the others."

Ryan nodded and pulled out his phone, quickly exchanging numbers with Sato. Soon after Samuru showed up and introduced himself to Ryan. He asked if he had anything planned and Ryan nodded in affirmation. "Yeah, we were gonna head into Seto and try and figure out whats up with the place. If you wanna join feel free, but we're waiting for one more person." He made a note if what Samuru said about cleaning and looked around. Wow, the whole warehouse really is filthy. We should take a day or two soon to clean up.

Ryan opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling for awhile as he gathered his thoughts about the meeting. It would appear as if the Velvet Room was now offering services to help everyone. That was definitely something he needed to check out. He got up from bed and got dressed, grabbing his knives and hiding them in discreet places all over his body. Didn't want to start the day with getting arrested for suspicious behavior. As Ryan grabbed his phone and got ready to call Rui and let him know his plans he heard his mother call for him from the kitchen. Normally she's at work by now.

Ryan headed downstairs to find his mother waiting for him along with breakfast. "Sit down Ryan, I think we need to talk." Ryan sat down and began eating as his mother composed her thoughts. "I understand that I haven't been around much, you understand that I've been busy with work right? But that's no excuse. Ever since I saw you in that hospital bed... I've been thinking of what a horrible parent I've been." She was getting visibly upset as tears brimmed in her eyes.

"That wasn't your fault mom, you couldn't have known." Ryan had to bite his tongue to stop himself. If he mentioned the kidnapping a whole new set of questions would come up. "But it was my fault! If I spent more time at home, being a parent, I could've stopped you from getting hurt!" She was crying at this point, but she took a deep breath and wiped away her tears. "But no more. I'm gonna try and take more time off of work. I'm going to be a parent for you. Like I was supposed to be years ago."

Ryan smiled as tears brimmed in his eyes. He got up from his table, rushed over to his mother and hugged her. 'I forgive you.' It was okay now, all the decisions she had taken away from him, all the friends he had lost, he would remember those. But he forgave her for it all.

Thou art I and I art Thou. I am Geraint, the Trusting King.

A voice echoed in his head, he vaguely recognized it as his Persona. That didn't matter right now.

After finishing breakfast Ryan talked to his mom for a while before she admitted that she unfortunately had to go to work today. After assuring her that it was okay he headed out to the warehouse. On his way he texted Rui letting him know of his plans to venture into Seto and to let everyone else know as he didn't have their phone number.

When he got to the warehouse he decided to wait around a bit just in case he got a response saying to wait up.

Henry whistled in appreciation of the firepower that Akoni was packing. Although he definitely looked very... annoyed while he was casting that spell. Weird. "Geez, don't sound too excited. You might have a heart attack guys." He commented sarcastically as he began to run towards the Hatred alongside the Champion.

Henry held up his hand and a stream of ice poured out towards the Hatred, looking to freeze it in place for everyone else to deal with. Normally he would make a bad ice pun here, but he felt it wouldn't be appreciated by current company.
To be quite honest, I wouldn't mind sticking around, it's just that nothing is happening anymore. I'm getting pretty bored of just waiting to move forward a single day.

Honestly, if Lugu isn't down to stick around I would just start up a new thread, grab everyone who is interested and move to the new thread. Fresh start, so to speak.
