I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Scratch that, place your bets on polymarket.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

Up above, the entire tower shook as the cavern had collapsed, but it held firm. As Becker was searching through the tower, the sudden shaking startled her, for her training was not near as complete as it should've been. Her mind was filled with fear, and Chartrose could hear it, as the dog darted out of the tower, dashing past the scared rams, into the cold.

Chartose, still just barely getting back to his feet, stood mortified to see Becker run through the still-open door for the relative safety of outside as he tried to follow.

Outside there was still the raging blizzard, swirling around the tower. His only hope was to find her before the eye of the hurricane of snow passed the tower, cutting them off from the rest of the group... however, there would be hope in unsummoning her, and trying to find shelter back inside the caves if things went that way.
"Sir? Why is there a shaped charge under the cockpit seat?"

"Motivation."

Funny you should mention it, but it was actually standard-practice to stow the scuttling-charge of most spy-planes under the pilot's seat.

Same goes for any jeep issued to intelligence-officers, making theirs literally made of explodium.

NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!
-Just give us 3 more hours
Drunken shenanigans incoming.
Foster, can you get me links to Mellowlink? I wanna watch it....

:(

Whole episodes or do you just want the bits of what I can find?

Massasauga knows what sort of odds I like.
Well. That's my post up K

Congrats on making my character feel like a bitch for waking her in my next post.

But then again, *explosion noise*

This is what Bentz expects to hear.
-This is what Bentz will hear.

Well, this, doing this.
Marlene watched as Kat stormed off to Snow Leopard, to busy herself with fixing whatever electrical-issue she was having this time

"There may be no shortcuts, but there's also a saying; insanity is the act of doing the same thing as before, but expecting a different result than failure." She whispered to herself, before turning towards Yassir, getting her PADD out and running a quick diagnostic and inventory before sending a pulse to Sarah.

<Sarah, would like to know if you'd be willing to tune the targeting-laser for my missiles to double as a comms-laser, and to write some code for Bubbles to be able to translate it to speech. Oh, and if the opportunity presents itself, upload the program to Snow Leopard as well. -Marlene>

After clicking send, she went over inventory, picking-through all the captured weapons from their minor thug-busts. Most of the weapons were little things and barely a threat to other FRAMEs outside of point-blank, others were more for show than actual purpose... however, it didn't take long to find what she was looking-for.

Requisitioning a pair of hand-trucks, she set the handle of one down on the tines of the other before loading it down with several auto-cannons, heavy machine-guns, and several hundred pounds of captured ammunition. Amongst the motley assortment was an MG-27, an NNU-10 from some SSU brush-war, and a pair of LBU-3 HMGs she'd noticed were re-chambered to some sort of 30mm gatling-grenade-launcher... which just sounded too wicked to resist trying-out at least once.

Lugging this improvised limber and caisson up the deck was not too difficult, as the halls were mostly empty, aside from a few late-shufflers from the briefing passing her by in the halls on their own way to the hangar. She smiled and waved politely at Sabrina and Cecelia, hoping they'd pay no attention to the twenty year old dragging what could almost qualify as a mech's starting-arsenal behind her.

*Wonders if the next mission will be aboard an airship*

Probably not.

Still, can't hurt to be prepared.
