I do agree with Yandere's sentiment that words not wording workingly do be a problem this time of year.

Scratch that, place your bets on polymarket.

Looks like I'll be working on memorial day weekend. And no, this does not mean place any bets on polymarket.

due to a typo on my part I was nearly convinced I owed the IRS nearly $3000 in excess taxes this year.

-There will be delays in replies. Largely due to working overtime, voluntary obligations; other RPs and online-things may compete for my attention.

'Bout me:
Started RPing (badly) back in '05, mostly doing nation-RPs with an emphasis on technology and strategy, later edging out to character-espionage and military-tactics before doing "less serious" character roleplays that were outside of the 2005-2008 continuity.

That's when I went to Dead-Frontier, and found the RP community there, joined a clan, did some pretty good roleplays and pretty much loosened-up my online-personality. When the clan-leader decided to move her RPs here, most of the clan followed.

Took a course in technical-writing back in '08, so now I may sometimes use the semicolon correctly.

In 2010 I dusted off the old nation-RP continuity I had, doing a few hetelia-esque RP-shenanigans there..

RP-Habbits: I tend to geek-out on little technical-details, and sometimes infer how those details would impact the background of the roleplay. Great for world-building, not so great when you had a perfectly good plotline and I just MacGyver it off the rails (though I usually er to the side of amusement, sometimes it creates very grim side-stories).

Someone should probably draw "a map or something."

@OfWindAndRain Ah, but I'm an unsufferable nitpicker as well. So is all good.

I have literally gone onto tangents starting with commenting on how slow an RP is moving, leading into multi-page discussions on whether you'd swim faster through superglue than lava. Then we start bringing out our white-board onto a google-doc and start doing physics-problems.
Tempted to either take 'nade or pointman.

Probably armed with an M16 (The -A1 hadn't come out yet, so no FA) and a Rem870.
The M16 wasn't terribly bad, if you knew how to clean it.
--A can of WD-40 is still a grunt's best battle-buddy.

503rd PIR, right? Good chaps, got a commemorative highway 'round here for them.
-November 1965, kinda relevant. Operation Junction City. Lived up to the reputation they'd earned on what later became Paupa New Guinea in 1944 (which is how my nieghbor ended up living next-door, as he was part of the 23rd Div just up the trail with some Aussies).

Oh.
1. So p. much, it's the lack of a tacty-mappy? I'm sure we can find an arty person or a google-fu expert to conjure up a map and MS-paint some markers to overlay upon it. I'm not at all familiar with Titanfall's maps, so I'm not much help in that regard.
-I know it's a facility with bunkers, and a lab, and stuff... so I'm thinking either a Spectre manufacturing plant from the first game, or the secret Titan labs PvP map from the second.

2. Well, that was sort of a thing of Titanfall 2, I think... it kinda split the fanbase for reasons you already understand.
-'pain' would depend on how the pressure-sensors react to an explosive wave shearing through the metal skin for that infinitely-long fraction of a second. And maybe the warning of bleeding-out hydraulic fluid, reactor-coolant, and whatever other bodily-fluids a hyper-adanced Titan uses...

I don't want to try making excuses for something someone else did with incoherent technical-babble, it could also simply be an emulated emotion, and not a genuine reaction of Alma. (<---terrible reason)

Random electrical shorts/surges are unlikely to be pleasant upon the experimental processor and AI architecture. At least until those circuits get manually truncated.

3. Anyways, sorry to see you go. Hopefully something comes your way that gets your interest.
Angela had been well enough trained to gauge roughly how much damage all of her mortar-shells would do, should they be caught in a vortex-shield and flung back at her, it still did little to stop the trembling ouf her building as several of the rooms between her and the intended target became shredded and a chunk of debris flew inches from her face as she ducked and rolled to the relative cover of an interior wall, especially-reinforced with sandbags just for the occasion. This was their home-turf, after-all.

Checking her data-comms for any friendly spectres in the area to cover her, she found none just as her cloaking field flickered and gave-out. That Vangaurd pilot was good, and not just some farmer with barely a hint of experiance that happened to fall into the cockpit at just the right time in the titan's development. Still, this pilot's aggression could be their undoing...

An explosive satchel was easy enough to hide amongst the sandbags she'd just used for cover, there would be only a few limited approaches to her escape-route, and plenty of oprotunity to divert away from her intended route should someone try to corner her.

Shotgun-out, she made her way, knowing that the pilot probably had a radar-lock on her... but probably wouldn't take much notice of any ordnance or muntions laying-around in just the right places... such as a rocket-launcher rigged to fire at a door once opened, or a satchel rigged to seal her escape when it was closed.

Evee was still some ways out, and wouldn't take long to tell her to target her own hiding-hole with mortar-shells to clear the roof of any parkour-experts with sniper-rifles. However, Evee was also closer to the fighting, and now was at risk of being a target herself.
Banned because, why don't you just request a 1x1 like a normal person?
