Didani smirked a bit at the mention of Nella having a skittish younger sister attending class, "I'll try not to startle her too much, then." she giggled, leaving her flamethrower up in the dorm since she probably wouldn't need it just for homeroom, if anything, she seemed in a hurry just to get her paperwork sorted-out for class than actually being prepared for any of the classes. During the walk she seemed to part her way through the crowd with that same false aura of burning malevolence, clearing an easy path for Nella to follow towards homeroom.

Didani had barely managed to take a seat close to Nella, when she heard shouting and saw a flying mermaid rush up to her room-mate, startling her to her feet and reaching for her pike before realizing this was one of Nella's sisters she'd been talking about. She squinted trying to find the family resemblance as the others filed into the classroom. She bowed at Hasuno when introduced, and gave a slightly lower curtsey for Momo and their room-mates as she slowly found her manners at what was beginning to shape up to be a family reunion. Khat just waved tiredly at the group while Xuno enthusiastically insisted on shaking everyone's hands.

Lilith was probably the one most confused by the situation in front of her. Despite being weighed down by all of Mimi's things, Lilith managed to keep pace with her smaller companion; what she'd seen is Mimi running up and hugging a fairy Mini-Mimi named Momo, and suddenly didn't feel so bad about startling her earlier. She had gotten the shortend introduction of names, excluding Nella since everyone assumed she'd heard her name mentioned a half dozen times by now, she pointed and Didani tiredly announced it was Nella: their student council president.

It was only then they resumed taking their seats at the teacher's behest, with Didani seated beside Nella closer to the windows, Lilith seated behind the twins, and somehow Xuno managed to drag Khat to sit with Hasuno in the back of the class. Hearing the discussion of homeroom being followed immediately by lunch was quickly dashed by news of the next class being survival-training and the sounds of wishful-thinking.

"It's where we fight against each other, eventually." Didani dryly interjected to the discussion.

Xuno's eyes went wide at this revelation that she may be asked to fight her room-mate she'd just met, and Khat. "But why?!" She cried.

Didani sighed, looked at Nella, then back towards the freshmen in the back "Hitting static targets can only teach you so much, at some point you'll need to be learn how to deal with things that can hit back, harder than yourself."

"And teamwork." Khathi added, "We also learn to use our abilities together to solve complex problems. I guess they didn't teach you that where you come from?"

Noir Housing

Although Lilith towered over Mimi, her blue spider section knelt as low as it would comfortably would allow, practically sitting cross-legged a she watched her cute bunny-eared room-mate move frantically across the room. "That's so cool!" the drider exclaimed, as they turned their ranged weapon into a melee-weapon at the push of a button. "My whip is just a whip." She explained, pulling it from her side and snapping it taught between her hands for emphasis before returning it.

She rose to her feet when the video-screen came alive and addressed them, indicating they were free to customize their housing as they saw fit during their stay. Mimi seemed to be out of ideas, but thankfully Lilith had a few alterations in mind. She strode over to the terminal, and checked to see if it would even be an option before adding an onsen, a natural hot-spring and sauna, in place of the normal showers, and added french-doors and wider walkways so she wouldn't need to squeeze from room to room. She also added a hammock in a high corner of the loft-space as a place to quietly study without interrupting anyone. The rapid flurry of changes probably made their head dizzy trying to keep up.

Finished, she moved over to Mimi and picked her up in their arms. "I'm sorry about startling you for a third time after just meeting you, Mimi. Would you mind if I helped carry your things back to class to make it up to you?" She asked, apologeticly to the beleaguered bunny-girl.

Scarlet Housing

Didani sighed in frustration as she got up from the sofa and back onto her hooves, "Yes, I know. I was at the assembly when Dr, Gardner introduced you. You stood, you waved, you sat back down." She explained, her tail swishing angrily behind her. Their darker and almost demonic complexion was almost the polar opposite of Nella's snowy-white innocence, the gold-embroidered black dress that she wore only seemed to further highlight this as the very air behind her appeared to sizzle in conjurated hellfire and fury, "Since you're giving me the first choice, I'll choose whichever side I want be it left, right, top, or bottom; you can have whatever is left."

She let that mood simmer for a bit before smiling, "You're taking the left side, that means. That was a joke. My name is Didani by the way, Didani Vanhildr. You're in good company, I was near the top of my class at my last school. I look forwards to hearing that acceptance-speech you've been working on." She explained, lifting the mood immediately with little more than a disarming smile and a handshake.

She then picked up her rocket launcher, slinging it to her back and headed for the door before turning around, "Are you coming, or are you just going to stand there looking at me like a deer caught in headlights?"

Violet Housing

Xuno was rather big-boned if one would count her tortise-shell as a bone, since it was almost as large as the conjured ball of water Hasuno rode into school on. The rest of her attire consisted of green armor composed largely of wood-bark and cushioned with moss with remnants of kevlar and titanium plate-armor underneath, indicating the more organic components were repairs rather than original, with many of the metal components having long since been replaced with stones and bones, such as her gauntlets. Her helmet seemed designed similar to a tortise-shell, but wasn't, and hid her long unkempt green hair. She moved to study the console, looking for anything that would interest her. She made the pool a bit larger and lined with heated flooring in case she felt like taking a dip to cool off and relax with her room-mate.

Khathi set down the buttstock of one of her SMGs beside Momo, "No, there's gotta be something in common between us." She said, tapping one of her legs in a rhythmic beat as she soon became lost in thought as Momo made modifications to the room, "We just can't quite put our finger on it, yet."

In terms of appearance, the two were vastly different, Khat had a long slender body with many legs and long flowing black hair while Momo had a tiny body with wings and silver hair. One moved slow and in many directions at once while the other moved fast and with laser-focus. She was roused from her thoughts when Momo asked for her opinion on the changes to the room. She frowned a bit at the seprate but equal accomodations for her small stature, and wondered to herself what if Momo wanted to be with her but felt obligated to use the special tiny-furniture instead of spending time together?

She crawled over to the terminal, and made sure to add steps, ladders, and stools so Momo could find her way onto any of the furniture; the kitchen sink could even be used as a tiny bathtub, and the bath-tub as a pool complete with a diving-board. She then added a small litany of musical instruments in the corner of the living-space she hadn't the time to pack. Particularly a large set of drums. And finally a greenhouse and laboratory for studying.

She smiled at Momo, "Never be afraid to dream of bigger things just because you feel small, my friend."

Yeah, I'm starting to think Didani's pike and rocket-launcher should be a combination item, simply so she can have it be a compact backpack-item instead of a comically large pointy stick.

Making Khathi's SMGs throwable tomohawks would be... interesting, they'll probably need to be tethered or something if that's the case. Plus her SMGs are huge while her throwing axes were supposed to be tiny. I could probably split the difference and have the guns be Soumi-sized and use full-sized hand-axes.

Khathi noticed and helpfully pointed this out to Momo so she can assume they have a lot more in common than a love for botany, percussion instruments, and SMGs.

Lilith also noticed but hasn't connected the dots yet.

And Didani has already fucked around and will find out soon enough.

Meanwhile Xuno is dense as a brick.

Survival-training or just "Training" would work.

Well, medical, cooking, and combat would all vaguely fit under physical education.

Plus obstacle-courses/puzzles. And of course, teamwork makes the dream work.

So advanced stuff would be like brute-force escape-rooms.

Also, Didani is claiming the bed all to herself.
