Actually, I'm pretty sure they do. Weiss seems to be able to use new glyphs as time goes on, and Ruby, six months after the fall of beacon, is able to split herself into multiple Sonic balls for a few seconds to get around enemies, and can also carry Nora with her semblance.

Again, as I said numerous times in my last post, I did not read the books. That is simply my understanding. And from experience playing Tabletop RPGs, being spontaneous is majorly important in small-quarters combat.

Also, the way you just used LOL could be viewed as insensitive since you put it right before you explained something someone got wrong. I'm not offended, I'm just telling you for future reference.

Wow. I highly respect your reading choices. I'm really more into fiction, so I could never read any of those, but I have a friend who does. From what he's told me, and from my understanding in general, those books are more about large-scale combat rather than combat between a few people. I'd never give Xanadu an army, but I personally think she'd do fine with three other people. Remember that my knowledge of these kind of things may be skewed, but I'd think that the principles of the two sizes of combat would be fairly different. Large-scale combat takes planning. You tell your forces where to go, they go, and they do whatever it is you had told them to do. Small-scale combat takes improvisational skills and impulsivity. Take me for example. In tabletop roleplaying games having to do with small parties, I'm a pretty good leader. However when we get into armies, I suck.

That is a weakness of hers, but one could be a leader without a brain. Not to mention that if she were the leader, she'd still have her team to stop her from doing anything too idiotic. So if that's her only weakness, then that's pretty good.

As for team leader, I'm kind of thinking Xanadu. She may be a bit of a bitch, but she's a bitch who's not afraid to bark out orders, and she tends to stick in the back and shoot from a distance, meaning that she doesn't have to worry about close quarters combat while directing the team. Not to mention that passion is a very important trait in a leader. And don't think I'm voting for Xanadu because I want to play the leader. I'm not that kind of person. I legit think that Xanadu is a good choice.
