Souls shoved her hands in the front pockets of her precious jacket as she walked away from the tall Mr. Fellows and back through the beautiful doors and into the lobby of the orphanage. She then proceeded to walk up the stairway which she had seen the dickfaced guide lead the handful of minors up right before her talk with Fellows. Once she got to the second level she looked around the halls a little, seeing no one. Having no direction, Souls decided to just take a left.
After fair amount of time wandering through the massive building, Souls came upon a number of teenagers and children awkwardly shambling around and talking to each other and entering rooms. "Bingo." she said. She shoved her way through a few of the students, before coming upon one of the last empty rooms left. She slunk into it and threw her backpack on the floor, collapsing on the left bed. She didn't really worry about the roommate aspect of things. With the shit she pulled a while earlier, she wasn't going to be anyone's first choice. More than likely, she was either going to be alone, or stuck with the poor fucker who had no other choice.

Souls unfolded her arms and put them at her sides, tilting her head but maintaining the eye contact. "First of all," she began, "It's Souls, Ms. Souls if you're feeling formal, but never Ms. Sailor. I never got the opportunity to meet my mother, and my father left before I was born, so I don't consider them family. I want nothing to do with them just the same as they want nothing to do with me. And it sounds to me like you don't mind compromising the 'happy' part of the deal to fulfill the 'in line part'. I mean, when some of the kids here are callin' this place hell, you know you gotta loosin' up a bit." She then pulled out the rules paper that she had shoved into her pocket and held it out to him. "An' your rules here are kinda open to interpretation. I mean, what you consider vulgar might not be the same as what I consider vulgar. How do I know where to draw the line?"
Souls then let out a sigh. "Look Jimmy, I promise I won't fuck shit up or ruin your orphanage unless I'm given a reason to. Now can I please know where my room is so I can get some fuckin' shuteye?"

Souls remained fairly quiet as the thin man lead her away from the group and out of the building. A blind man might have even believe she was no longer upset, but to anyone with working eyes, the expression of annoyance and frustration was clear upon her face. Once they were outside, the girl shook her head slightly so that her hair fell over her right eye once again, before suddenly casting a glare at Mr. Fellows, looking him in the eye with the only one she had uncovered. "Alright," she said. "Whaddaya want?"

Carrie replied, smirking as she watched their redheaded guide take her time leading them back to the camp. "And it's not exactly that my parents wanted me to lie. I suppose it's hard to explain to someone who didn't know them. They were an odd bunch, my family."

At this point I must sound like a broken record, but I'm seriously looking forward to the Souls and Skyler duo. One's a mature little girl who attracts condescension due to her age, and the other is a teenage troublemaker who couldn't give a shit about age. It's a freakin' match made in heaven. They're gonna wreak such havoc. XD
