Overview: Having woken up in a tank in full combat gear with no memory of how she got there or even who she was. Ms Volkov simply read the first name she saw on a discarded name tag (not even sure if it was her) and took it as her own. Every now and again she has nightmares about ferocious combat experiences which seem to be pieces of her memory slowly coming back to her. After a month of dreams and drifting from area to area she finally comes across the Yakuza-run X-1 tournament and her memory starts to kick in about the organization and realises that her past will only be uncovered through fighting.

Special Attacks:

Combat Shotgun: Two hard hook punches to the body followed by a front kick. Can be used to break the clinch.

Landmine: A rolling leg grapple into an ankle lock that grounds both opponents. Can only be attempted from zone 3 and 4.

The Red Scare: A hard knee to the body followed by a guillotine choke that pulls both fighters on to the floor.

Pistol Whip: A ducking dodge into a spinning back elbow to the head.

Bear Trap: A catch an opponents kick with a counter and drag them to the floor for a kneebar.

Keys To Victory:

The Warhawk excels in her ability to control positions, basically keeping the fight where she wants it. Luckily she has tools to be formidable almost anywhere. To maximize damage, focus on getting injury inducing holds and then dispatching your opponent with fast solid combo strikes. The key is to pick your moments to go on the offense to make the most of your toolset.

Underrated and Overrated Video Games

@Dynamo Frokane Wolfenstein isn't exactly making a statement other than "Nazis are bad and killing Nazis is fun". That people got upset that the game is about killing fake Nazis in a fake take on history was both hilarious and stupid. Far Cry 5 is very much using certain aspects of the current social and political climate to garner attention but then pretty much doing nothing with it other than correctly having some characters use terms like "libtards". It ruffled certain feathers because "Oh I'm killing white conservative Americans and I'm one of those uh oh" but it amounted to little other than white noise. I'm not giving Ubisoft any props for taking advantage of a certain climate but I am rolling my eyes that some reviewers can't get over the fact the game doesn't swing as hard in the direction they wanted it to.

I haven't played the new Wolfenstein sequel so if they do something other than 'Nazis bad, B.J. good' then that's news to me. But I'd also say that Wolfenstein: The New Order and by association The New Colossus are better written games than Far Cry 5 anyway.

I'd probably agree that Wolfenstien is better written than Far Cry 5, not that is any sort of achievement mind you.

However, I still think the whole 'white conservative' thing is misplaced by people who have only seen the box-art. The protagonists in the resistance of Montana are the conservatives, gun toting, patriotic, beer swilling, fake southern accent republican types. The people you kill are based more on the Jim Jones cult, who ironically were a spiritual, progressive for the time, hippy type outfit, (which obviously morphed into something much more like a authoritarian, dogmatic dictatorship). But very few cults apart from things like Scientology start out as anything resembling the 'right wing' as Americans know it.

People really need to read the synopsis.

I honestly don't know what you're talking about. But as far as I know, Harbinger has not been a part of any thread locking.

Second. You can claim, "hur-dur paranoid about people randomly sending unprovoked attacks at you. That's imaginary." So ignoring that this, is that. You've already admitted such to me. So I know, that you know you're talking out of your rear-end. You said yourself, you were encouraging and fueling such people and their attacks on me.

So claiming, it was only due by a single person and their own actions. (ignoring I still have posts that prove that wrong, in an instance.) You yourself don't think that. Unless you've changed your mind? <.< (I can't care less.)

No I stand by what I said, It wasn't a 'hate campaign' a bunch of people disagreeing with you and getting heated with you isn't a campaign, I wasn't co-ordinating with anyone. And I never encouraged our fueled other people, (Citation needed?) I was focusing on my own counters. The person I mentioned who was an actual troll and I acknowledged that the attacks against you from that person were over the top and undeserved.

I'd happily go back to not mentioning each other, but something tells me you want to respond....

@Fabricant451 Right but there is a balance, I dont expect Far Cry to be the Malcom X of political commentary but if you're going to use the political and cultural landscape as a marketing tool at least have the balls to run with it like Wolfenstien did. I doubt bethesda are any more 'woke' than ubisoft are, but at least they were thematically consistent with the marketing.

No, that's not all you did. You compared his discussion with Penny to Andy. On topics that weren't comparable. And even then, my only point was you aren't adding anything substantive arguing this. I was discussing with Harbinger and Poohead without any problems here.

The topics were irrelevant, I'm going by his standard, not my own. He did something that he said he wouldn't do, so he contradicted himself. I don't care which parties are involved. That's just something youre going to have to deal with, now carry on posting in the thread that you 'claim' hate. Masochism is making a comeback.
