Sometimes, you can get so good that you lose sight of why you're bettering your skills. Sometimes, you can become so involved in training and practice that you don't realize that the intensity is driving you mad. And when those things become present, your skill begins to be countered by your mental drawbacks... It happened to me, so I'm speaking from experience. More factors than just skill level affect your ability to save lives.
