We call them Metahumans...uhm..Bastion can Explain it better...

They seem to be much more technologically advanced and physicially superior than that of the average Human. Their motives has been observed to be slavery of our race. Though, General Kory Faye and Lance Corporal Rose Faye have been leading the resistance to the Metahumans.
