Don't forget it's his first Mother's Day as your husband. Different families have different expectations. Maybe his family never did Mother Days/Father's day gifts. [/soap box]

Bio

Garth

I'm a long time RPer. I play group games and 1x1 games.

I only play MxF in my 1x1 games. Group games, doesn't matter.

I'm a guy and will only play 1x1 games with people 21 years or older. I'm trying to avoid going to jail.

I can't play fandom canon characters. I just don't know the characters well enough to do that. But love to play OCs in a fandom story.

I'm pretty flexible. I don't have any demands. Just have fun. One request, if you tire of the game or me, shoot me a PM and tell me. In your PM blame the game and not me ;P I'll let you know if I can't keep up with any game we are in.

I'll be honest, I enjoy romance and smut in my 1x1 games. I do enjoy the build up and plot.

Thanks for reading. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you wanna play or just hang out and chat.

Hmm..... interesting
I like the idea of sticking to the base races such as Elves, Dwarves, Half elves, Gnomes...

I like this idea.

This sounds fun. Please count me in too.
"It's beautiful up here. It's still boxes but you don't notice the edges off in the distance. I know you always like to build a farm first. Let's get some wood and build a cabin. And a couple of beds." Rick pointed a he spoke. "Let's build the cabin on the edge of the plain. We should be able farm there and we might find some animals."

Rick laughed as out of the air he pulled an axe. "Lookie, iron axe in my inventory. That'll help with the wood."

"I was hoping we would see a village from the hilltop. Maybe we'll find one as we cut wood." He hoped that cutting wood was like running here, you do it without getting tired.

"Shall we?" He held the axe in his left hand and offered his right to Avery, hoping she would take it.

Sundos looked over at Keystone as he approached and smiled. He didn’t know him well at all. Sundos laughed, “There are healers all over the world. They do good work no matter how they do it.”

"Not from this kingdom. New here, really, so you're gonna need to explain somethin' to me. Y'see, I just don't get why a man's got to follow a god to be a good person."

Sundos thought for a minute then spoke, “I don’t think a man has to follow to a deity to be a good person or righteous. A person’s deeds determines if he or she is righteous or not. If we help people or bless lives, then we are good or righteous. However, I’m sure we can all point to examples of men who pray to a God of Light but does evil deeds. To me, that’s still evil.”

He shrugged, “I do think a person should have a code or goal or something that guides them. Like a philosophy or a following a noble leader. Having a Light or code we follow gives us direction. Without it, we are like ships tossed in a storm without a rudder. You have your philosophy. Some might follow a righteous king or knight. But having a guide helps many of us.

If our code or guides leads us to do righteous deeds, then it is righteous. But if it leads us to do evil, then it too is evil.

“Now, you might ask why I follow a deity. I do it out of love. Have you ever had somebody do something for you when you were at your lowest point in your life? Maybe even saved your life? How did you feel towards that person? Many might want to do things for that person, to please them. Not out of duty or obligation, but because they really want to impress the person.

“That is one the biggest reasons I follow Lathander. I never knew my parents. I was raised in the Church. Lathander and his servants have cared and blessed me my whole life. It’s not out of duty or ‘paying a debt’ but I feel a strong desire to pass along the blessings that have been given to me by Lathander. Now it’s my turn to go and bless others using my skills and talents. Lathander gives different gifts to different people. By the way, my gift does not include healing.

“Tell me about your philosophy. Do you both share it?”
Sundos asked Keystone and Seph.
Thanks guys. I'll get a post up later today. Hugs and Bro-hugs all around.
New here, really, so you're gonna need to explain somethin' to me. Y'see, I just don't get why a man's got to follow a god to be a good person."

I'm a little nervous about answering this IC. I worry that it could start a real ooc debate and I'm not interested in that. Later today I will answer in it IC. But... Well, I hope you know what I'm saying. People might have real feelings about the subject and sometimes I've seen it get out of hand in other games, other boards.

Interacting With:Persephone

Sundos wasn’t sure what he said to make Persephone blushed, but he liked how it looked on her. He smiled at her. He was confused by her comment about being subtle, so he ignored it. But he spoke about the one thing he did understand.”It’s not just priests and priestesses who bless people. We don’t bless people only by our prayers. Sometimes the greatest blessings we give is just by what we do. You’re a healer. You saved lives and saved people from being crippled. I don’t know if your power is divine or not, but it doesn’t matter, you blessed lives.” She seemed like a nice lady. He wasn’t sure why she was on the frontier. Some of the others in the Company looked like they wouldn’t or couldn’t be comfortable in the capital city.

"So, enjoying life in the great wide world? I hope you don't mind me saying, but you look a little... uh, green, I guess." Now it was Sundos' turn to blush. "Is it really that obvious to see? This is my first time this far from the Capital and Temple District. Things and people are .. different .. on the frontier. I did not expect people to be so uncaring out here. I was surprised, I didn't see any priests nor shrines to the MorningLord at all in the village. I expected there to be more where life was harder. The people are harder on the frontier, but their faith is gone, isn't it? Did the people lose their faith or did they never have it?"
"Hey hey! That's cheating." He ran after Avery. Of course, in the game they now ran at the same speed. She had a good head start on him, so he couldn't catch up. He tried jumping twice, hoping to 'fly'. However, that most not be a feature in this version of the game. Rick just laughed as he chased her up the hill. He pumped his arms, and lefted his legs high, like he does running uphill in the real world.

In the real world, he was able to beat her in running races. But she usually beat in him swimming contents. he was much more graceful in the water than he ever good. We was tempted to join the swim team once. But he knew he would do much better on the track team than the swim team.

He was surprised to find he wasn't breathing hard at all as he chased after Avery. She was already at the top of the hill and doing her little victory dance... Rick smiled as he stopped next to her, but this was the first time he lost to her, 'for real'.
"It makes sense about the early release. Maybe you got us an enhanced version of the game. You know one that's not normally sold?" He shrugged.

Rick stopped and looked over his shoulder waiting for Avery. he reached back and took her hand again. He was more bolder and more forward here about holding her hand then ever in 'real life'. He wasn't sure why. But he has longed for so long to walk hand in hand with her. He has rarely held her hand. He did more when she had her broken leg. But that was a long time ago. He liked it now, even if it was in the computer game and not for real.

He led her up a hill. It was a hill but with the block construction, it was like climbing stairs. Up a high stair case. he stopped for a minute. "It's much easier to do this sitting in a living room and watching my guy climb on TV. Are you doing okay? We are almost at the top."
"Ouch! It gave me a little shock. I never heard about that in any of the news about Link-In. Is it new or is it just in the early release?" Then Rick smiled broadly. "You look like you now. Wait..wait. Let me make me look like myself." He played with the settings. He made himself look like himself. But he was vain enough to make himself with just a tad more muscles. He flexed at Avery, "Check it out, my muscles really flex. Want to play on creative at first?"

Playing with the settings a little more he said, "Damnit. I can't turn off the pain thingy. Maybe I need to log out to do it. Oh well, I'll do it later."

He reached out to Avery's hand. He could actually feel her hand in his. It felt warm in his hand. He looked at her hand with his mouth open. "This is so real. Don't move." He gently caressed her arm. "Can you feel that? I can."

Smiling at her, he said, "Let's go exploring. Then we'll build something. Okay?"
Rick ran through the calibration well enough. She said to get comfortable so he pulled his shirt off once Avery left the room. Rick had just barley logged on before Avery logged on. he smiled, as a computer avatar, when Avery "popped in". Rick was speaking a little too loudly.
"This is awesome." He stood in the game and turned a 360, just looking at every thing.

"Now you can hear me, right? I had a little trouble getting it. Did you notice most of the settings were just like starting a new game and world on the computer version of Minecraft. There was something new. Did you see the 'Damage = Pain' setting? I never heard of it, so I turned it on. I don't know what it does yet."
