Don't forget it's his first Mother's Day as your husband. Different families have different expectations. Maybe his family never did Mother Days/Father's day gifts. [/soap box]

Bio

Garth

I'm a long time RPer. I play group games and 1x1 games.

I only play MxF in my 1x1 games. Group games, doesn't matter.

I'm a guy and will only play 1x1 games with people 21 years or older. I'm trying to avoid going to jail.

I can't play fandom canon characters. I just don't know the characters well enough to do that. But love to play OCs in a fandom story.

I'm pretty flexible. I don't have any demands. Just have fun. One request, if you tire of the game or me, shoot me a PM and tell me. In your PM blame the game and not me ;P I'll let you know if I can't keep up with any game we are in.

I'll be honest, I enjoy romance and smut in my 1x1 games. I do enjoy the build up and plot.

Thanks for reading. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you wanna play or just hang out and chat.

"Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Did you hear me talking while I had the headset turned on? I couldn't hear anything, just myself. But I couldn't hear you at all. Pretty awesome, isn't it?" He smiled at Avery.

"Of course, I have my internet and computer ready. If you forget the Wifi password, it's taped to the router. Let's het this bad boy going." His computer was already booted, he just had to unlock it and it was ready to go. "Let's load the game." He jumped on the bed and watched Avery load the game. He loved to watch her. She was so cute.

"You waited for me? You're so nice, Avery. You're a great friend."

Looking over the photos and the quick setup Rick put the headset on. It fit over his eyes. He could see through the visor, like looking through dark sunglasses. "And this is how you must turn it on." He pressed the power button over his right ear. "Hey! Is this working? He turns his head in all directions. "Everything .. I mean everything is pitch black. He waves his hands before his own face. "I can't even see my hands. It's like I'm standing in a huge empty dark warehouse." He tried to pull it off of his head without turning off the power button. "I can't get this thing off. What's happening?" There's a slight panic creeping into his voice.

@Midna-Phobia
"What do you have?" Rick closed his eyes with a smile. He almost put his palms forward and not up, as if he were reaching for Avery's chest. But he didn't think she would find it as funny as he would.

So, he waited with his palms up. "I'm not peeking...honest."

He held the box in his hands but his forehead winkled up in confusion.

He opened his eyes and whooped as he saw the Link In box in his hands. "What? .. how? ... these don't go on sell for a week. How did you get them?" He quickly knelt by the table to began to excitedly open the box. "Did you open yours already? Oh, this is so cool!"

@midna-phobia
He had been unpacking his oil paints onto his drawers. The college classes wouldn't start for another week, but he was excited to get started with his art classes. He still couldn't believe Avery agreed to stay with him. They weren't "living together" not like a couple. More like just house mates. They each had their own bedroom. Of course, Rick gave Avery the master bedroom. But it wasn't that much bigger than his own room. Besides he planned on spending must of his free time in the living room in front of the TV with his Xbox. Or in the backyard drawing. There were some nice trees back there he wanted to draw.

Rick smiled when he heard Avery call out and went into the living room. She was always fun and always knew how to raise his spirits. "What's going on? What are you doing?"

He looked at her and didn't even see what she placed on the table.
Name: Richard "Rick" Barnes
18

Bio: Rick and Avery have been neighbors and friends their whole lives. They were both shy but have been kindred spirits since they both could walk. They did everything together. All through primary school they were in the same classes. They often sat together in class and played together at recess and after school.

Somewhere around 5th or 6th grade, Rick’s innocent feeling towards Avery started to change. He was developing a deep crush on her. He started to notices the changes that were happening to her. He liked that she was becoming a woman. (They were 11)

He liked her but worried she would only think of Rick as a friend. So, he never said anything to her. He tried to be just a friend all through secondary school. They both had dates with other people. Avery would sometimes ask Rick about different boys at school, never knowing she was breaking his heart each time she asked. Even when Rick dated other girls, his true feelings were for Avery, but he could never share them.

They would fight at times. Usually when Rick was feeling jealous or insecure. Be he could never stay mad at her for long.

They often had the same classes still in secondary and often did homework together. Both of them were known and trusted by both families. They were always at each other’s house. No matter how much he wanted to, he never made a pass at Avery. Rick was always too nervous or afraid of ruining things with her.

In Secondary, Rick joined the track team. He was never the best runner on the team, but he was in the top 2 or 3 for his races. He enjoyed running and always felt free when he ran. He loved it when Avery came to his track meets and he could show off for her.

Just before Rick and Avery were to go off to the university, Rick's grandfather passed away. His grandmother moved away to be with her sister. So their old house was vacant and near the university. Rick was able to talk Avery into moving into his grandparents' home with him.

The house was a small, humble house. There were two bedrooms. Between the two bedrooms was the one bathroom. There was a kitchen and small living room. Rick thought the best part of the house was the backyard. There was a built in pool and hot tub. Also there was a fire pit and lawn chairs in the back.

Appearance:
Rick is a young fit man. He's slim from his running. But he has toned muscles. Always trying to impress Avery, he works out with some weighs trying to keep his muscles toned and well defined, even if they are not massive.

Sundos had strapped his backpack to the outside of the wagon. Then he hurried over the stables. He paid the young stable hands and made sure all of his gear was still accounted for. A few minutes later he came riding out on his brown warhorse, Honor.

He looked over the new company. Most of the men and some of the women were veterans. Sundos has fought in some minor skirmishes before. But this was his first time traveling into hostile land without paladins and men-of-arms of the Church going with him. He was a little surprised, but he felt as if none of the company reverenced Lathander. He assumed everybody within the Kingdom worshipped the MorningLord. It was the national religion. But the farther he got from the capital city, the less people seemed to follow his god. He alone was to bring Light to the dark land. He knew his duty.

He spied the young healer. He had heard much of her in this short stay at the inn. He dismounted and lead Honor by the reins, approaching Persephone, Sundos said, “May the Glory of Lathander shine upon you, Sister. I have heard many talk of your healing touch. I have spoken to militia men who have been injured. They all talk of you and what you’re done for them. You truly do great work to bless the lives of others.”
I'm going out of town on Friday until Tuesday. I won't be able to post until Tuesday. I might be able to check before then, but no posts until Tuesday.

Be good.
Okay, going to post later today or tomorrow to get the group moving out of the town - prepare thy selves!

I think I wet my armor.... just a little bit..
"Miss Sona, how're you set for provisions?" his underclass accent rolled, "Food, weapons, such? You look understocked. Maybe I can help with that."

Buy her some long pants! And a cloak or a shirt with a higher collar!

An armed and armored Sundos returned from upstairs. "Does anybody mind if I offer an invocation? Great, thank you." Then without giving anybody the chance to object, Sundos raised his right hand and prayed, "Oh Mighty MorningLord, Giver of Life, Lathander; May thy Glory Shine upon us now and forever. I come before thee at the Dawn of this new Company to give thee thanks. I thank thee for our full bellies and the roof over our head last night. I ask thee to bless and protect Femnal and his staff until we return.

"I thank thee for the hamlet's victory over the orcian foe a few days ago. Bless those who were injured in the battle. Bless them that they may speedily recover from their wounds and return to full health. Bless the families of those who fell in the battle. Give them comfort. Soften the hearts of the villagers that they will take compassion of the families of those fallen. That they will provide charity to the fallen defender's sons and daughters and widows.

"At the Dawn of our Adventure and Company, I ask thee to watch over and protect the Hamlet of Salarn. Give them peace and rest. Hide the Hamlet from the orcian foes. Shine thy Glory over the Hamlet.

"I am grateful for my new friends. Bless us that we may develop good, strong, true friendships with each other of the Company. Bless us that we might work well together as a team; that the strengths of one will cover the weakness of another. That we might learn from each other and each become a better person from our associations.

"We are about to enter dangerous orcian lands. Bless us that our mission may be of benefit to Salarn and the village we take the supplies to. I ask thee to fill our limbs with thy strength, fill our hearts with thy courage and fill our minds with thy wisdom.

"If we are called upon to battle against the orcian-foe, Shine Thy Glory upon us. Fill our hearts with steel and courage, guide our weapons, shield us from the foe, melt the courage of the orcs and send them fleeing before us. Allow us to bring Light into the darken land.

"I shall not fear the darkness, Thy Dawn is always approaching. Amen."

Sundos grabbed a roll and took a bite. "Is everybody ready?”
