I haven't done group RPs in years so I'm a little hesitant but I'm interested. I had some concepts for something in this vein and had been wanting to do a Naruto AU RP.
I would love to see more of this AU world you had imagined. The canon had a lot of stuff that could use a redesign, several of the bijuu come to mind. I'm curious though how a group RP handles all the dojutsus and bijuu, all that stuff.
Making a specific search for this. I've been wanting to do an RP like this for a while, and have a few specific plots in mind. I might be open to make this a small group RP if everyone agrees and it draws enough members. Long story short, I want to do something set in a historical fantasy setting with a group of heroes that have to go on an epic adventure in a classical RPG-type of style. Heroes that slowly develop their skills over time, gather more powerful weapons/artifacts and more along the adventure while they also have to deal with personal drama.
It will definitely be 18+ because of mature themes. I'm looking for roleplayers that love worldbuilding and developing plots.
I have a few plots, some worked out already but I'm currently working on a new plot that will be part of a series of stories.
Ragnarok: The Banished Heirs
It's been years since Thor has taken the throne, among the many new gods born from the earlier generation currently in power, there are a total of four candidates to succeed the current king. Young gods that have yet to fully gain rulership over their domains, the gods of the four seasons, but as Thor enters the odinsleep and signals the coming of the Ragnorak there is a coup. An alliance has been struck by betrayers and enemies of Asgard to share the rule of the Nine Worlds. The four young gods that each had a claim to the throne of Asgard were exiled by the dark alliance, the four finding themselves cast down to Midgard with little of their powers remaining. The four gods must survive together, and regain their power as they gather an army to take on the dark alliance.
The Set up: So I had pictured it as a classical RPG story, where those four gods gather allies and travel through medieval Earth.
What I'm looking for: I need a partner that loves to worldbuild and design characters, I tend to RP in a style with one main (In a leading man kinda role) though there always plenty of supporting characters involved in the story. I prefer to play a male as my main and I had my eye set on the son of Thor as a barbarian and the god of Winter, so I'm looking for someone to play a counterpart to him out of the the three remaining seasons. I haven't fleshed out my character entirely yet, but I figured they would all be children fathered by the Thor generation of gods.
Fate of the Seven
From the human world seven seemingly unconnected individuals are transported from this world to another, where a deitygives them a seemingly impossible task. If they wish to survive they must save seven different worlds from the fate that it suffered. These seven worlds each had someone use the world's Holy Grail, an item that gives the user godlike power, to reshape it into his/her image. The deity lives outside of time and space, is able to transport the seven heroes to a point in time where the quest for the Holy Grail has just began. They must reach it before others do, other that would use the Holy Grail for evil or their own selfish desires.
To do so they must work together, and find each world's own heroes. A group of three destined to lead the world to a good future. A Ruler, a Shielder and a Slayer. The seven heroes are each made into one of the following classes. A Saber, Lancer, Archer, Assassin, Berserker, Caster and a Rider.
Depending on what kind of world it is, the setting and what kind of warriors and what not they are would differ. I had the following in mind but would love to hear new ideas. Overall the vibe is the same. A fantasy world where the main cast goes on a RPG style adventure.
Setting ideas:
Sengoku era Japan: Medieval Japanese setting where the nation is in a civil war. Several armies are trying to acquire the Holy Grail and use it to unite the country under their rule. I pictured this as a world with ninjas and samurai locked in a bloody civil war, in a world infested with yokai and other such things from that mythology.
Medieval Europe: This would be the classic. Knights and goblins.
Western era: A magical fantasy take on the classic genre with enchanted revolvers, shamans, etc
Norse: A variation on the classic. With Vikings and frostgiants instead.
Prehistoric era: Another variation. Cavemen and dinos.
Zodiac Kingdoms:
Isekai story set in a magical feudal Japan world. The main characters die in this world and are reborn in a magical fantasy world.
The continent of Juunihon was once ruled by powerful monsters that preyed on the race of men. Forced to hide and find shelter, for generations humans developed magic to stay alive and defend themselves. Then came the great mage that was able to use magic to slay one of the most fearsome of all monsters. A dragon. Harnassing the power of dragons, this mage elevated himself to a ruler. Creating his own clan, taking the dragon as his sigil and gathering followers, this lord conquered the many small kingdoms that made up Juunihon and divided them in twelve. At the center was the dragon kingdom, home to the capitol and the ruler of the Zodiac Kingdoms. The eleven other kingdoms were governed by his most loyal followers. Consuming the powers of the monsters made them something different from humans and the twelve clans led to the birth of twelve new races. Nobles that ruled over humans, yokai, beasts and all that were native to the continent.
For centuries the country prospered until the eleven clan serving the royal clan began to grow unsatisfied with their role. Together they managed to scheme their way to bringing down their ruler and nearly wiping out the bloodline. For years the rightful ruler, the Last Dragon, had to live in hiding with what little retainers she still had. Eventually though the alliance fell apart, the eleven clan heads began to desire more power and distrust began to grow between them. An era of war began with the eleven kingdoms fighting each other for supremacy and hold of the twelfth kingdom and the capitol of the nation.
Having acquired the magic tome of her ancestor, the one that led to the rise of her clan, the dragon princess summoned a champion to help her reclaim her destiny. A young man, on the verge of death in his world, was reborn in this magical realm as a warlock. Together the two must travel the twelve kingdoms to gather the power and support needed to end the war and unite the Zodiac Kingdoms once more.
Posted a new plot. A really old idea that I never got to explore got an update, seemed to work perfectly for an Isekai story which I've been wanting to do for a while now.

The Battle of the Trident decided the battle. The Usurper's warhammer struck a grave blow to the prince but it was in the end Rhaegar that stood victorious. This ended Robert's Rebellion but the Mad King could not remain on the Iron Throne. Rhaegar and his troops rode South, where they met the Lannister forces. Against Aerys' orders the gates were opened, and the Mad King attempted to burn down the city but Jaime Lannister prevented that by slaying his king. His wife and mother of his two children were safe, but when he finally reached Dorne where Lyanna was kept safe, he discovered that his second wife had died in childbirth.
The boy was taken with him to the capitol and Rhaegar began his reign. Over many years he mended the relationships between the kingdoms and Great Houses that had led to the Rebellion, the consequences of his father's reign. But though he had survived the war, the wounds had always lingered. Rhaegar was a great king but his health was always an issue and no matter what the maesters did, at best it seemed like they could prolong his life.
The King had to prepare his heir to finish his life's work, but would prince Aegon be worthy? Even in his early years it seemed as if there was too much of his grandfather in him. There were those that feared another reign of the Mad King, and there were those that flocked to the prince as they sought to exploit this. And far from the capitol was the threat of another Mad Prince, this one older. Prince Viserys had never forgiven his brother and always saw Rhaegar's health as an opportunity. His ambition and madness fueled by the supporters that whisper into his ear.
Both Mad Princes have intentions to take their sisters, Rhaenys by Aegon and Daenerys by Viserys, and make their claim once Rhaegar passes. Though both seem to grew restless and willing to help speed things along. Now summer has ended and we seem in for a bloody fall, Rhaegar is doing his best to prevent another war and to help keep the peace in the realm. Ignoring the rumors about his son and trying to shape him into a worthy heir. But the tension in King's Landing made him decide to sent his second son away. For his own safety and for the good of the realm, to prevent yet another faction forming around another claimant. A marriage pact was to keep the boy safe and away from the game of thrones.

It could go a lot of directions, the prince could go South to Dorne to become Arianne's betrothed. Or perhaps to Highgarden to marry Margaery as the Tyrell's hope to influence the royal family to combat their Dornish rivals. Or perhaps to the North? The Westerlands? For this I really hoped to a classical betrothal story. Characters with their own flaws and ambitions thrust into an arranged marriage, meanwhile tension and war looms over them.
Ichi the Witch This is based on the manga, but the premise could work for an original setting or just having OCs. In this world magic spells manifested itself in the form of spirits known as Majiks. Essentially every magic spell comes alive, and only if a witch completes their trial, their power can be harnessed. Witches and magical society are born from this, as only females can use magic and as such can wield the powers of the majiks.
The story would start with the capture of the King Majik, who while battling the strongest witch of the time, reveals that no woman can pierce his heart and as such he can't be defeated/caught. Unknowingly to the Majik, as this battle takes place, there happens to be a male hunter who had been stalking the majik and succeeds in piercing the heart of the Majik. Binding the creature to his own body and becoming the first male magic user/witch.
BG3 I liked the idea of a version of the game plot, but one that includes the Dark Urge. Perhaps as an ally at first and later a rival? -Selunite Tav x Shadowheart?
Jujutsu Kaisen I would love to do something in the JJK setting, either AU with canon characters or entirely with OCs. -AU Megumi Zennin

Tower of God:This is a longshot and very challenging but if anyone would want to give it a try with me, I would love them forever.
Bleach:I would like to do something AU in this setting. Perhaps removing some key characters and fleshing out some others, or maybe just in a different era. But I have a rough idea for this.
Death and the Strawberry AU: AU Ichigo x AU Rukia MC is a human who can see spirits, unaware of the potential his bloodline gives him. YC is a seated officer, open to an OC or AU canon characters. The plot would mostly revolve around a re imagining of the canon story.
Pokemon I would like to do something in the spirit of the games/anime/manga. With either a pair of mains going on some kind of adventure in a Pokemon setting. Or with those mains having their own NPC companions and maybe even recurring Team Rocket grunts trying to rob them.

Black Clover: I liked the idea of exploring a war in this world. Perhaps a pair of young magic knights on the frontlines of a war between the four kingdoms? 5 Leaf Clover grimoire OC x Hidden Spade Princess?
Black Clover AU: Two orphans from the countryside reach their coming of age ceremony and acquire their grimoires as they visit the capitol in pursuit of their dreams. The female is unaware that she in truth is the rightful heir to the throne of the Spade Kingdom, with a four leaf clover grimoir. My initial thought was to just remove Asta and Yuno, and put our own spin to canon story.

So what I'm hoping to do is something that I had a lot of fun doing in my teens, back then I was very into Harry Potter and some of my favorite RPs where set in AUs where the players put their own spin on canon characters. A good example would be Harry as a Slytherin. Also I really loved those next generation type of stories where the kids of canons had adventures of their own. But I just have a soft spot for that kinda thing, I always love it when a series has an epilogue where we get to see the kids. :P
My main preference will be an AU, currently I'd really love to try a Rhaegar Lives AU where Jon is the second prince. But I'm open to other scenarios as well, and wouldn't be opposed to a next generation type of thing either. Whichever it will be, it will still be in the style of show/books. So political drama, depraved nobles, the threat and cruelty of war, etc.
My ideal partner has seen the show but also read the books, just like me. Someone who can write at an advanced level, I don't have any strict rules on post length and usually I find a good balance with my partners. Certain situations ask for posts of varying lengths after all. I guess an average post would be 3-6 paragraphs. I really want to explore the lore and the world, flesh out these characters and see what things would be like this AU setting. I love romance in RPs, but it's important that things happen organically. It's been years since I actually encountered a forced romance myself, but those are just the worst! Haha. Kinks can be discussed in a PM, but I'm pretty flexible and open to try new things. Don't be afraid to pitch anything with me, at worst I will politely tell you that it isn't for me. :)

Perhaps set in AU where magic is more present? I would like to explore something where the Warging and Greensight plays more of a role in the story. Jon as a more Daemon the rogue prince type or Daemon Blackfyre and gaining the mentorship of the Three-Eyed Crow. Maybe leading to dreamwalking and timetravel/alteration shenanigans.
