"Is there any other last minute questions before we begin? If not, we can all go ahead and hook ourselves up to the machine and select our backpacks. I'm sure poor Chuck is getting awfully bored."

Raising her hand excitedly CC hopped from one foot to the other as she tried to draw Eleanor's attention while standing in the middle of the other contenders. "I'm sorry, I have a question... do you have a bathroom?"

CC always got like this before a big adventure. A couple of weeks before she'd led her guild of Avenging Angels to hunt down a group of players on her Galaxy of Fantasy server who had been bullying noobs and stealing their resource points on a regular basis. In the lead up to the final battle CC had drunk enough water to fill her belly and she swore she could hear herself sloshing as she'd run to the toilet.

The flight to the complex hadn't been any better. The excitement and anticipation building inside her as the contenders had been treated like celebrities with first-class accommodations all the way. Her first sighting of the Echo Park, the world famous centre of the Echo Games community, had been a disappointment. From the outside the place look like just another office building surrounded by workshops and server nests.

It wasn't until she'd actually walked into the 'Inner Sanctum' and caught sight of the colossal bank of monitors that her heart had finally begun to race, and with it her other bodily functions. "I really gotta pee."
Hate to get all lore-y on you and point out that Imperial Templars don't use lyrium and can't disrupt magic,1 but I don't think @SimplyJohn's too bothered about limiting character's abilities because of lore. The only mention he made was to say no dwarf mages, but that doesn't really apply here at all, since Templar abilities aren't exactly magical.

You might want to change his backstory a little to explain how he was exposed to lyrium while gathering it for a magister who thought his half-dwarf heritage would protect him from it, or some such reason. You could also add in that he specifically sought out an Andrastian Chantry Templar who taught him the magic disruption abilities for the sole purpose of killing Sulpicia's husband, in exchange for a share of lyrium smuggled out of Tevinter, just to keep things canon-y. :)

  • As vehemently as he denies taking part in any sort of politics, he is aware of The Grand Game of Orlais as Tevinter has something... similar. Just with more slaves and necromancy and abominations.

And blood magic, can't be forgetting that.

Overall you have a nicely rounded character, with a few rough edges to polish off but nothing which would make him unusable. :)

1 - Mentioned in Cullen's report after completing War Table mission The Tevinter Resistance.
Age: 18
Personality: Nana is shy, innocent, obedient, and softspoken on the surface: the type of her girl parents always wanted her to be.

Age: 18
Personality: Lachlan is a soul best described as "detached".

Age: 16
Background/ Bio: You know that one kid in school that's really quite and never talks?

Sooo.... three quiet teenagers who never talk... :|

Conversations are gonna be really one-sided in this game, and I'm glad you all decided to go with such original characters.
@McHaggis Could be a useful character to have around if we're travelling the northern continent, but why would he be part of a mercenary company?
@SimplyJohnWell I need to know the choice Hawke made in this timeline. Can't have Kirkwall without it's champion.

Luckily she and Isabela met up with Leliana, Josephine and the Inquisitor at Weisshaupt after the whole Corypheus mess was sorted out. Apparently the girls all had a very good time together, but unfortunately a large vat of fresh cream, three suits of leather armour, two hundred red roses (thorns still attached) and a riding crop were ruined during their stay.

I warned Condor about flirting with him.

Rage: Meat Mallet gains 1 attack point per every enemy on the battle field at the cost of 1 defense point per enemy. (Energy cost: 5 per enemy)

I'm not sure I understand the part about the defense point, you don't have any defense points so why would they get reduced?

Also the energy cost seems impossibly low, shouldn't it be something like 20/enemy? Or are we expecting to be facing armies of opponents?
