Leaping into the state-of-the-art hypersonic transport plane Nightingale was soon in the air with her team and within what seemed like only a handful of minutes they were already on the ground in Long Beach.

It was a beautiful sunny summer's day without a cloud in the sky, but as the team made their way down the boulevard they soon came to the police barricade cordoning off the bank building. "I'm sorry, Ma'am," one of the police officers as he tried stopping them at the barrier, "This area's off-limits due to an ongoing incident."

"I know," Nightingale replied as she flashed her badge, "We're with A.E.G.I.S. We've been sent to resolve the matter."

Just then gunfire was heard from inside and the worried police officer looked back over his shoulder for a moment to check for danger before hauling the barricade aside for the metas to pass. "You're here just in time, by the sound of it." He said, smiling at the team thankfully. "I think that was the hostage negotiator we sent in to try and get the civilians out."

"They're still in there?" Nightingale asked in disbelief.

The police officer nodded his head sadly. "It all seemed to happen too quickly. One moment it was just a bunch of normal regular folks and then these two girls walked in. One of them started to play a guitar, some sort of heavy metal mix, and the other was handing out guns. Before the alarm was raised half the crowd were opening fire on the others, as if they had been brainwashed or something."

"I can see why we were called in. This definitely sounds like a metahuman outbreak." Nightingale responded, waving her team over and gesturing with her hand towards the bank doorway. "Leave the rest to us."

Bursting in through the door the team immediately start taking fire from the armed thugs inside. A quick headcount showed four men armed with pistols and two women armed with shotguns all holed up behind the bank counter.

A large group of hostages are sitting on the floor against the far wall, cowering for their lives. None of them seem to be in a position to help the team out in any way, and they're just as likely to do something stupid and get in the way as they are to remain where they are.

Several dead bodies are lying around the room, obviously gunned down by the hostiles. Notably in the middle of the room is the body of a plain clothes police officer wearing body armour. Not that it did him much good from the state of his head, which looks like it took a shotgun blast at close range.

Can we strap nightingale to Brick for a mobile healing wall?

Well I've heard she enjoys to be strapped down at times, so I don't see why not.
@CAS1006

Pressing a button on the arm of her battle harness Henrietta extended a long thin probe which tapped Cassius gently on the shoulder several feet away. "Umm, aren't we supposed to be..?" She asked, her voice trailing off as she gestured down the stone stairway into the darkness below. While the fade-touched mage was distracted the probe quickly darted down and snatched a sweety from the container in Cassius's hand before retreating back towards the dwarf faster than anyone could stop it.

Popping the treat into her mouth the dwarf slowly chewed her prize as she took her first tentative step down the stairs, holding her lightning stave high over her head as she peered into the deep shadows. She'd never admit it to anyone, but as a surface dwarf 'Etta hated being cooped up underground, and as the cold wind blew up from the tunnel mouth she felt a shiver running down her spine. "So... who wants to go first?" She asked, her voice filled with forced joy as her eyes darted between the others, desperate for one of them to volunteer.
"So please, will you stop the silly shenanigans. Every time the word 'Fuck' comes out of your mouth I am a step closer to breaking your arm off and beating your head in... Every other thing you say is 'fuck'. Is that ALL you're limited to say? Surely I thought the Dalish could speak more than a human acquired set of words."

...I'd vote for either Fandancer to keep them safe or Nightingale to heal any who get wounded.
Actions: ...request Nightingale join the team on this mission...

That's two votes for Nightingale (or one and a half since John's hedging his bets.) Do I hear a third?

No love for Nightbeast? What could possibly go wrong bringing a sociopathic killer forced to join the team after murdering a man who tried to rape her at knife-point into the middle of a heavily populated area during a crisis?

Solid Wall: Brick's allies all gain +2 Defence against any AoE attack where Brick is one of the affected targets.

It'd be better to tie it into one of the attributes rather than setting a fixed value on it. Something like 1/3 of his Defence, perhaps?
Carnotaurus (chameleonic skin, good for stealth hunting; dislikes rapidly changing light conditions, such as having a torch flashed over it, as this disrupts its chameleonic ability), Dilophosaurus (paralysing neurotoxin in the saliva, can blind people with a good shot) and Othnielia (1.5-2m dinosaur, can climb trees.)

I'd be looking at the Carnothnieliasaurus (or 'Nellie' for short) being a small, omnivorous biped skittish in nature and favouring hiding on the tree canopy and ambushing solitary or injured prey when hungry, using its spit to incapacitate them before moving in for the kill, but subsisting on vegetation for the most part.
How would you feel about chimerae?

The I-Rex has opened the door for genetic hybrids with an assortment of abilities and traits, would you let me play as one of those? If so, are there any limits on the abilities I could possess?
Well, that depends on whether Idaho's been drinking. If she has best check the men's locker room.
Yay! Deaths for everyone!

...I wonder if Nici will reincarnate as a thong? I know she'd enjoy spending every day pressed against some woman's crotch.
