Equipment= Hemera Armour- Kyxus's suit is titled as the "Hemera Armour". Hemera is the Greek deity of day, depicted in his armour as gold as the sun. It is a large power suit which gives Kyxus the strength of 3 men and is powered by a high-energy power cell.

The Ares Glaive- Kyxus's weapon gains it's name from the God of War. The Ares Glaive is an incredibly sharp blade that can cut through most metals. However, it can siphon some of the energy from the suit to be charged with electricity, making Kyxus slower but he can then deal more powerful attacks. After three strikes, the energy is transferred back to the suit.

The Athena Shield- The shield said to be blessed by the goddess of wisdom, Athena, in the stories, Kyxus's shield is capable of projecting an energy shield that is a bit more larger than the actual shield itself for a limited time, enough for one high power attack. 

Misc Items= The vents at the back of his armour is for his inbuilt boosters, made to allow Kyxus to charge quicker into the fight (only in a single direction)

Brief History with Overwatch= Every country has a black market, and dark entertainment. Cock-fighting, underground cage fighting are just a few to name. In Greece, gladiatorial combat is still alive and very popular when the eyes of the law aren't looking. It was from this that the fighter Kyxus was born. If you both knew gladiators in Greece, and you had to pick a favourite, it would probably be Kyxus. He never killed anyone as a gladiator, although he has been very close.

When an Overwatch agent stumbled upon this, it was a no-brainer that Kyxus was recommended to become a member of Overwatch. They gave him an offer, test-drive a new power armour that Torbjörn and Winston, the mechanic and scientist duo of Overwatch, have been creating, or be turned over to the police (despite never actually murdering anyone). With the promise of more fighting for an actual reason, Kyxus accepted without a second thought. The Hemera Suit Test was a huge success, and as Kyxus begun to use it on the field, he became an icon of Overwatch, much like Reinhardt and Mercy.
