Blaine Ambrose

Damn, the big move already. Stood in the middle of the crowd was a young man with blonde haired slightly pushed up by his goggles, his hand cupped to his ear, holding the large single-ear headphone in place which blasted music into his ears. Blaine Ambrose was bobbing his head in time to the fast paced EDM song playing through his headphone as he carried a suitcase with all of his personal belonging and a long kind of metal bar suspended into place between his arm and body. This however, was not his weapon, yet something very close to him. Blaine had already said goodbye to his parents before making his way into the standstill queue that finally began to get shorter.

People flowed into airship, and Blaine would have been oblivious to the instructions over the PA if he had a full headset on. In all honesty, this was pretty crazy. He finally gets to become a hunter, and will actually be doing some good for the world. And it will all start at Lustre Academy, honestly not a bad choice since the move from Vale. His constant fighting in Signal... it didn't go down well. However, his parents said that this would be a fresh start from all of that.

Hehe, yeah. Right...

Once boarding the airship himself, he stepped inside to the large passenger area. He noticed a window seat that was a pretty good view. Blaine decided to try and sit over there, when he noticed a rather small guy sitting in the same area. Blaine slid his headphone so it sat around the neck, the loud music being very obvious now. "Yo! Mind if I sit here?"

Personality: Blaine is a very happy, cheerful and energetic person who outwardly displays this, including his love of music. He likes to bring a positive energy to everyone he encounters, trying to make the best out of every situation. Fighting, dancing and making music are all good times to him. His main hobby is DJing and he loves creating music. If he wasn't going to become a hunter, he was probably going to try and become some sort of DJ superstar. He's a bit cocky, but more headstrong if anything. A trait he sees as determination is more likely stubborn recklessness if anything, but one thing is for sure, he's gonna get back up.

Weapon: In melee form, his weapons are two yellow and orange tonfas.
Weapon Name: Blaine's weapon is called "Amber Melody"
Weapon Functions: His metal tonfas have a flintlock pistol mode, where he slides the handle backs. Clicking them back, the trigger flicks out of the handles. Fortunately, it does not use the same reload as a flintlock pistol would use. Instead, Blaine uses red dust cartridges instead, which slides into the bottom of the handle.

Armor/ Clothing: See appearance. Wears brown jeans with orange stripes that run down the sides, accompanied with black boots on the bottom half.
Semblance Name: Bass Control
Semblance: In short, Blaine can control soundwaves. For example, he can quieten the shot of his pistol, or project his voice into a concentrated force to push people back. People would not go flying like some sort of Fus Ro Dah. Blaine can't knock people down, but it could certainly slow someone down, like a strong gust of wind. Another example is mimicking the sound of a branch snap, to distract his enemy. He has to actually make the noise, so he can't control the sound something or someone else makes.

Strengths: Making music, resilient, good stamina, good blocking technique.
Weaknesses: He's not incredibly acrobatic. By no means slow, but he won't be doing elegant backflips like Ren. He also has a tendency to take the blow for someone else, part of his reckless nature. Blaine will happily jump in front of an attack to defend someone else, but this will most likely get him caught in more trouble, or a worse situation.

Bio: Blaine's life was very average, apart from all of the fights he got in at school. In his case though, he never started them, just jumping in when people picked on his friends. Of course he got in trouble, but it's a trait that stuck with him. However, as this continued. It made him realise that some people just couldn't defend themselves.

Blaine grew up in Vale, his parents living comfortable lives and comfortable jobs too. However, they were not very pleased when Blaine would come home with a black eye with the same old excuse of "They started it." It was time for a new outlet. His dad took Blaine shopping to look at CD's, holotapes and more that were related to music. It was then that his father told him another value that he lives by.

"Son, there's more than one way to communicate. Music is what feelings sound like."

Blaine was hooked, and although his dad showed him the classics, the would-be hunter much preferred the newer sounds of techno and electronic music in all of it's forms. At 14, Blaine had gotten an entire DJ set for his birthday as it was the one thing he wanted. This DJ set goes with him wherever he goes. Between learning how to fight at Signal Academy, and learning how to create music, it was only a matter of time before Blaine started applying to become what he really wanted. Music was great, and was never leaving his life, but there were still people that can't defend themselves. It was time to learn how to become a real hunter.

@ghastlyIncOhhhhhhhhhh, I get it. That's still pretty cool tbh. Your character uses electricity and Genos uses fire, so that's a pretty big difference xD
