The road droned on by under his wheels as Bruce roared over it. Stark had offered to fly him across the country in style, but he had opted instead to ride the distance. He'd been accompanied by random bikers for part of the trip, but this last leg he was alone, just him, the wind, and the AI speaking through the Bluetooth in his helmet. Dickinson, as he had dubbed the disembodied voice that had downloaded itself to his cell phone, was reading aloud the same research materials that Stark had sent for him to study. Bruce had read much of it in the string of hotels he had stayed at. Now he was listening to the specs on the Mark 40 armor that he was being gifted.

"Kinda clunky for a racing machine," he spoke aloud into his helmet. "I'll strip it down some, I think. Get it chopped."
"I can do the honors right now, sir," Dickinson said in his ear.
"Really? Alright, strip all the weapons off. Have it disassembled for my arrival."
"At once, sir." At that moment, in the Hall of Armors the machines started moving, taking the Mark 40 from its place and beginning work.
"Oh," Bruce began as an after thought, "And paint it blue. BMW blue, I think."

Bruce roared into the parking lot at the Academy. His bike turned a few heads, and he smiled at the attention, unseen under his helmet. He kicked the stand out and killed the engine, pulling the helmet off and leaving it on the handlebars. His ass was killing him, and he was glad to be off bike, as much as he loved it. Bruce mad his way with the crowd, heading toward the center, where people seemed to be heading. He didn't have the uniform that everyone else was wearing, and also lacked the watch that they were using.
His phone started ringing, but he ignored it as he passed a particularly stunning young woman. Bruce's head turned and he decided that finding an authority could wait a second.
"Hey there," he said, extending a hand to shake, "You look like you know what's what. Care to help a freshman out? I don't really know where to go."
You are, but it's okay. It's important to argue your case.
So she doesn't do any actual magic? I don't like the idea of technology mimicking magic. I meant for them to be separate entities with separate fields. No toe stepping, as it were. Or very little overlapping.

Rumiko: I don't get any of those references so you'd have to spell out exactly what their purpose was.

With magic adding to this world's capabilities, humanity has made it as far as Jupiter, where we have two small moon colonies. We have more on Mars. There are no aliens, the only "races" are humans, androids and dolphins.
You obviously already made the character, therefore it's not new. It wasn't made with this world in mind, is what my problem is.

I like that she uses a tablet and phone to contain her spells. Definitely the sort of tech/magic marriage I was after. Not sure how I feel about the pirating and hacking in the character.
That sport: Sounds cool. Maybe our characters will eventually put together a local league for it.

Techno Arborist: Well there's no starships, we're going to be earth bound in this RP. Make that a little less extreme, but I guess it's something that could exist.

Ermine: How about you write something new, instead of porting from another RP?

Midori: That would be fine, any sort of android is pretty cool.

If you have an actual character in mind, PM me with a short description of who they are and what they do. Include a name, please. I may bring multiple people into PMs together to discuss things after that.
Do our AI's get their own names? Or are they literal copies of Jarvis? How does that work?
Richard pranced over to the sofa and plopped down, lounging in it as seductively as he could. He turned to one of the other party-goers and said, "We're going out now!"

The Dante, meanwhile, had pulled a few things down from the kitchen shelves and pulled a cauldron out from under the counter. The cauldron floated behind him as he followed Fonsus out of the room with an armful of various bottles and boxes.

"So what's wrong with him?" he asked, apparently already ascertaining part of the reason why the pair had come in the first place.
Artificer?

They'd probably work on vehicles, act as doctors for robots, that sort of thing.
A mixologist XD

Potions have different humorous effects. Great at parties.

And that could be the central hub I envisioned. It'd be the place everyone goes to unwind, even if they don't necessarily know each other yet. The bartender in question probably knows everyone, though. At least a little.
That's cool, I'm a patient sort of dude.
So you guys gonna throw some character ideas out so I can start linking them together?
