Bruce stood between a kid who looked like he was trying to fill the room with sweat, and some girl who he hadn't gotten a good look at yet(what a shame...). He was just starting to get annoyed with their handlers, or whatever they should be called. They were standing up there, just murmuring quietly to themselves while all of the newbies had to stand here quietly.

His patience was short lived, and when it ran out, he desynced, slowing his own personal time. He saw the effect immediately. The minor swaying or shifting or slight motions of those around him suddenly sped up drastically, so that it looked like he was looking at a room on fast forward. Meanwhile, those who looked at him would see someone standing almost still, seeming to take only one breath a minute, and not blinking at all.

In this state, he watched and waited for any cue that things were about to start moving.
So is their place in the list also sort of their roster number? Like in Young Justice all the Justice League and the members of the team have numbers like I think Batman was 01(or maybe he was 02 and Supes was 01 but you get my point...)
How did our peeps come to be there? I mean, physically. Were they brought in from buses and planes in very specific manners, or were they free to transport themselves?

How much freedom do they have? Is it like a boot camp, or are we free to go at any time, and to have any possessions we need?
That seems like a massive copout to me, Chuck.

So I ruined it.
In the chaos a loud crack sounded, echoing off of the enclosed walls, and accompanied by a bright flash. Alphonse stood with his spear in his hands, a burn on the ground where it had been laying. Summoning it to his hand had been his first reflex upon the break of the mayhem, but he had been tangled in his sheets in his rush to stand.

The sound startled the bird just as it was settling on the other boy's arm, and it flew up and started wreaking havoc yet again. This time, however, things were escalated as the young knights all followed suit and started grabbing their weapons, all swinging them about. Some were trying to chase it toward the window, others were content with the idea of killing it. Al was swinging his spear as if it were a plain stick, not wanting to kill the poor thing, just to usher it away from him. The chaos increased, and it was only a matter of time before ill-advised Magistra started flying through the air.

You don't mind if I make another character, do you?

I mind D: I already have the speedster!

Okay, I'm not really that petty, though I do want to point that out in case you were unaware. I think Famo said he'd prefer to avoid repeats.
This is my same name and avatar form the old guild, so maybe there?
Oh, and one other thing: I've made a slight edit to my post in the appearance section. I added a respirator to his costume and gear. I just don't know if you read that version or the previous one.
To clarify this: His power affects him specifically. He speeds or slows his own personal "time field."

So yes, he's mostly a speedster. He can slow his personal time too, but that's really only useful if he's waiting for something and gets impatient.

Yes, "time burns" are things that happen to him. His desync is variable, see. He can do it at different levels of intensity. Desyncing too far destabilizes the atomic structure of things inside of his time field. That means him and anything he's wearing or carrying. The greater the desync, the more unstable atomic bonds become, which can lead to even minor impacts causing severe damage.

If he's desynced far enough, wind resistance alone could be enough to cause road rash like marks on him.

That is an incredibly extreme case, though.

And yes, he is a Titan.
I posted a character sheet on the OOC, I hope that's okay.
