These range from -1 to +1. They must equal a net of +1.

There's a bit of math to get the stats and skills appropriate.
Good to hear. Any thoughts on the system?

Here's a CS to fill out while you wait.

Hm... I think I'll just make the rolls. It makes it simpler for the players, anyway.
But the traveler was supposedly found modern day.
Richard shot Fonsus the "why are you talking about secret things in front of other people" look, but joined the conversation, agreeing with River. "Yeah, we can go sledding or build magic snow forts."
He reflected to himself how unlikely that was. The vanishing of two students and the exile of a teacher within a month of each other could not be unrelated. Maybe there was no evidence to convict ex-Professor Clowers yet, but Richard was quite sure he had something to do with it.

"Did you get Vanishing Spells down, Addie?" he asked, changing the subject as he tried to relax in the chair, Cae rubbing his head and neck to sooth him. "Can I copy off you? Is that possible with practical? Probably not."
This takes place in a world where zombies don't exist as a cultural theme. There were no films about hordes of walking corpses, when it started happening no one knew how to process it.

Where the virus came from, no one's sure. It broke out quickly and chaos had already ensued before anyone made an attempt to figure it out. What is understood is that there is a dormant form, and an active form. As far as we know, all survivors carry the dormant form, and when they die, no matter what the cause, they turn. The come back, their mind gone and nothing left but hunger and savagery. When bit by one of these walking corpses, the active form of the virus takes hold. It starts as a fever, and if the fever takes you, you turn. Surviving the fever is a coin toss in the best circumstances.

When the panic first started, there were riots, looters, general public chaos. The military and police were made to keep peace, and there were casualties on both sides. Nobody knew to destroy the brain at the time, and those casualties came back and started another wave of panic. The first cities to be affected fell in less than 48 hours. A competent, organized resistance was never formed, the virus swept through too quickly, across the entire globe. Only the most remote places remained untouched.

I took weird out after all, and replaced it with Steady, which I think fits gun combat better. It also keeps the stats balanced without having to rethink the math.
Couldn't one just roll over and over until they get one they like and then link it? I don't know how it works, so maybe there's some way to prevent this.
I think player versus player they'll both roll and whoever got higher wins out.

What's invisible castle? I was just going to have GMs be responsible for rolling. I don't want to assume anyone's cheating, but it happens.
I like stress pool. But let's give them one and two are both non-penalties. It gets to -1 and 3 and 4.

So:
1-2 No penalty
3-4 Penalty of -1
5-6 Penalty of -2
Above this all actions get minus two, and players should have their characters act accordingly.
