Personality: Bold, fearless and not one to back down from something. Isabel's person is a result of growing up being different. She's learned not to shy away from being separate from the pack, and she's learned to like the way she looks in a sort of defiant way. It's hard to gain her trust, but she has a soft spot for people who are obviously out of the ordinary. Conversely, she carries an automatic, and difficult to break, disdain for "normal" people. The more you fit into society, the less she likes you, just as a rule.
She's a pretty surly person, and isn't known for her friendly demeanor. She doesn't try to be rude, but she doesn't try to be polite, either.
X-Gene Mutation: Matter Affinity.
Telekinesis: Well known. The manipulation of matter in the world.
Null Matter(Currently locked): The creation of a shadowy simulacrum of real matter. It's darker than black, absorbing almost all light and looking almost like it's photoshopped into real life. It sublimates over time, and won't last longer than an hour or so.
Phase Shifting(Currently locked): To coax the atoms of one mass to allow the atoms of another to pass around them. In other words, she can walk through things, or make other things pass through each other.
Appearance: Somewhere outside of the standard for feminine beauty. Long blond hair? How about no hair. At all. Her body is completely hairless, revealing her shimmery gray skin in all places. Even the sclera of her eyes is gray, slightly lighter than her skin tone. Her iris contrasts greatly, being a bright yellow that jumps from her face.
Her lips are darker than her skin, almost black but with the same shimmer as her skin. All of her teeth end on a slight point and her ears are narrow and slightly pointed.
She's tall at 6'3 and rail thin, with little padding even in her breasts and buttocks.
Her left ear is pierced with what could very well be a paper clip twisted in a coil and passing through her ear six times in a spiral.
She has three much more professional looking rings on each brow, where her eyebrow would be if she grew hair.
Each nipple has a bar-bell through them.
Occupation: Unemployed.
Other/Bio: Ultrasounds never prepared her parents, or her doctors, for what they would see when Isabel was born. Her mother abhorred her, and she ended up leaving Isabel with only her father, who in turn gave her up to foster care. She bounced back and forth in the system, but most foster parents found it difficult to feel affection for this strange, otherworldly creature. By fifteen she had already left and was living on the streets. "Mutants" weren't really known as a thing at the time, and as far as people who encountered her were concerned, she was some kind of monster. For a while, she shunned human contact. But recently she's taken to boldly walking among normal men and women, almost reveling in the shocked looks.
There's no organized mutant rights movement at present, but there are a lot of individual underground groups. She's experimented with being a part of many. Some fought hate with peaceful resistance, and some fire bombed the houses of known-bigots. She personally prefers the latter.
Isabel spends a lot of time searching these groups out. The tendency of known members of such groups to... "disappear" has led most to exist in strict hiding, and she is still learning ways to discern them.
