It was Charlotte who led them out of the dungeons this time. She had her bearings properly, and seemed to have a good sense of direction, even in the maze-like dungeon.

The three got up to the Great Hall about half way through lunch, though, and they were hard pressed finding a spot with three free seats at Gryffindor's table. She immediately piled some mashed potatoes on a plate and smothered them with gravy.

"Okay, so me and Ajax have both muggle parents, but only one of yours is, right, Lay? Which one?"
Needles ate quietly, occasionally glancing at Nix to try to get a surreptitious view of his teeth. He was curious about the alien's anatomy.

When Nightstar was talking about the scans of the planet, Needle's chimed in.

"According to the data, these vines that grow the fruit are an invasive species. They choke out the machines-plants or something. I'm not super sure what the records meant, I'll have to see it in context to understand fully. Hopefully, this at least means they won't be too hard to find. We should arrive soon, right?"
the narrative shows Markus tugging stupidly at the door until someone comes over and has the insight to try putting the giant key into the giant keyhole.
"Ah," Markus noted as she raised her keyblade. "So they are keys in more than shape."

As the door swung open, Markus lifted his keyblade and walked steadily through the door, being the first to go through. He glanced back briefly to make sure he was followed, but held his stance as he looked around.
"As it happens, I did," Markus lied. He hadn't noticed the vague sounds of struggle until Nero brought attention to it, but he didn't want to look like he had been so sorely distracted by the fireworks. Now that he focused on them, he found the sounds unmistakable. "More of those heartless? Or, perhaps the fireworks are for a festival, it could be an innocent drunken brawl. I suppose we ought to take a look, though? I've noticed that my keyblade is the only weapon I can use against a heartless. It must be the same for others. Come, then."

He held his left arm forward in a fencing stance, and his keyblade materialized. Walking with it pointed downward casually, he approached the door to the Third District, and attempted to pull it open.
I figure that for one, I shouldn't post back to back, and for two, someone who's in the "main" group in front of the jeweler should respond to Cid.
"I see," Markus replied, letting his keyblade dissolve into the air. "I've only seen one, I thought a person had to be inherently dark to fall like that."

He didn't say it aloud, but it frightened him to think that that could happen to anyone. Could it even happen to him? Or was his heart too strong to be taken? He didn't know, but he hid his doubt in customary stoicism as they discussed the keyblades.
Markus rolled his eyes at the abandonment of subtlety and held his left hand lazily in front of him. His keyblade appeared, held in a loose grip.

"I can't say I know what it means, but I have to agree that they must be related in a way.

"You mentioned, what was it, Heartless? Would those be black and red creatures? Cruel men can turn into them, perhaps?"

Markus was equally wary now, but did not skip a beat. "Well, it is usually customary to give your own name before asking someone else's. But I should blame myself for a lapse in manners; I should have introduced myself before asking something of you. Markus, is my name. May I ask yours?"

The young man(they must have been the same age, Markus thought) seemed a little excited by the idea of the keyblade. Likely, that is why he was stalking the others.
Put my CS in the character bin. And added a description of the keyblade. I think you said you could use slight variations of the Kingdom Key.
