It doesn't have to be, there are machines that run independent. What would the exosuit be for? Can you justify its existence?
That all looks great, you may move it to the character page.

And both of you, if you are able, could you put the sheet in the OOC thread in hiders?
All of that sounds great. It would be a monumentally expensive endeavor(look at the bodies of two of Everden's high society in Duncan and Gideon and compare it to what you just described) so it would have to be a member of the Royal Family, probably someone who's pretty close in line for the throne(not that succession matters when the queen is immortal). It's also possible that both this child facsimile and their "parent" are a great deal older than either appear. The specifics are up to you, though.

I'm okay with pictures, but I may ask you to change it if it's not in keeping with the style of artifice that I have in mind. I am not okay with anime, sorry to say.

I do want to say that no metal can simulate the look of flesh, and even silver, though it would be soft to the touch and give like skin, would still feel cold and smoothly metallic.
Never read it.

And Yoru, you're clear to post in the character bin.

Alright, here's an OOC.

Post CSes in the OOC for approval, do not post them in the Character tab until I have said you may.
There is a lot to read, try not to skim. Post CSes in the OOC for approval. Do not post them in the Character tab until I have said you may.

A world divided by castes. There are the Magi, who enchant the machines that run the world, the Artificers who create them, and the Ignorant Trades who make up every other aspect of life.

It is common and even fashionable to replace parts of one's own body with technomantic enhancements. Only the poorest of the poor are known to be wholly their original biology.

The richest of the rich, meanwhile, extend their life into eternity by replacing parts as they break down, eventually becoming entirely technomantic.

Yes, that is certainly doable.

You could also take the consciousness of an animal and move it to an automaton, altering it for the better.
I'm going to make a proper thread, I was kind of waiting on a few more characters to trickle in, though.

In the mean time, I am writing more and more.
It was a street in the odd zone between the Inner Circle and Outer Ring. The sort of place where different people had different ideas over which it belonged to. The poorer who lived there liked to say it was the Inner Circle, to feel like they lived among the affluent. The moderately wealthy admitted that it was the Outer Ring, but didn't talk about it much, as they aspired to move to nicer places further in.

It was normally a fairly active community, with Magi, Artificers, and the Ignorant all common sights. This borderlands district was one of the few places where there was at least some semblance of social equality. It was where most business between the higher and lower castes was done, and basic politeness made the Ignorant here feel like they might have a window into higher society.

This morning, however, this particular street was nearly abandoned. For one thing, it was fairly early. The sun was barely rising, and not even visible in some places thanks to the towering buildings. For another thing, there was blood running down the gutters and into the storm drains.

((WIP, ran out of time. I'm working on the written intro right now. I'm hoping, for one thing, it will give you guys more of a feel for the city of Everden. For another, there's some more of those plot threads sitting around. This post(when it's done) will be the intro to the first plot.))
