Maya was more of an energy drink kind of girl, but when you slept as badly as she did, it was catch as catch can. She sat with the largest iced mocha the cafe would sell her, phone on the table in front of her, reading the news.
This breaking story was exactly why she had come here. A cadre of heroes showed up out of the blue to save the day. Super heroes, with supernatural powers. Mutants were one thing, but Maya was no mutant. She had something otherworldly in her now, and if she was going to get on with her life, she needed to learn to deal with it.

She brushed her hair back from her tired eyes as a group of young people walked in. They were about her age, and at first she paid them very little mind. But one of them asked a question of another that snapped her attention to them.

"So, Lucy, you said you are an Inhuman? Is that like a mutant?”

The other girl explained how it was similar, but not quite the same. Maya didn't catch all of it, but latched onto one particular detail.

They all have powers?

She looked over the group, then back at pictures from the news site she was reading. They weren't dressed the same, but the genders, the body types were right. One of them had been engulfed in flame, even. And yet now they all seemed relaxed, like she had no trouble keeping the fire inside.

Maya got up and strode to the table they had taken over in the corner.
“Y’all the super type?” She murmured, putting her right hand down on the table. The knuckle bones were suddenly visible as the skin on her hand melted away in a brief flare of purple flame. “I need help.” She drew her hand back to her chest, the flesh knitting back together as the flames dissipated.
Should I read the whole IC, or just get a recap?

EDIT: Mexican female sand buggy Ghost Rider is up in the CS tab.
Can the dropped out Ghost Rider be replaced?
Faira glared at Pink through what could only be described as a gale force wind, but she didn't have time to berate him. The wind was creating a chaos in the ship's hold, some of the smaller aliens, and Kupori were thrown around in the air. Faira caught her as she flew by, and struggled against the wind toward the stairs, where the pirates who had managed to keep their feet were retreating.

She struck out at one of their retreating backs, and blocked the exit of the arachnoid pirate who had hurt her arm. He crawled on the wall, clinging to it against the howling indoor storm, and snapped at her as he went over her head into the stairwell. She blocked his claw with her keyblade, and followed after him, dropping Kupori on the stairs where the wind wasn't as bad.

Not all of the pirates had made it out of the hold, and Faira managed to note that the boy the had surprised earlier was mingled among them, though he seemed to be retreating toward the back of the group.

Faira moved forward and struck the nearest pirate.
I'm really sorry guys, I have been real busy, my work really kicked off and I don't have access to my phone most of the day like I used to.

I am still here, I hope we can recover from the inactivity, I'll try to post during lunch.
Okay, everyone feel free to beat pirates up.

@AquaAzura Choose one element and Gale can discover/invent a minor spell utilizing it. Play it up like he reviews some theory and realizes he can channel it through the keyblade.
The young man ducked as Sonus flew over his head in an impressive vertical leap. He looked up the stairs after him, then turned to survey the hold. Strangely, he cracked a grin at the key bearers.

"Y'know, I was thinking about letting you guys out, and now no one can blame me for it."

"Are you just trying to avoid getting thrown off when we take over the ship?" Faira asked as she strode past him to look up the stairs.

Sonus had taken a swing at a fat man with a metal arm and leg. A scimitar had flipped out of his arm to replace his hand, and he used it to block Sonus's keyblade and push him back down the stairs a step or two.

"Cargo's escaped!" He shouted over his shoulder, as he swung his bladed arm at Sonus again. He turned his attention back into the stairwell and called down it, "Boy! I'll have you… oof!"

Faira had run up the stairs and aimed a jab with her key blade into his gut. He nearly fell backwards, but recovered on his mechanical leg. Other pirates, less human than him, we're gathering around the hatch to the stairs.

"You have the best plans," she growled at Sonus, grabbing him by the arm and retreating a few steps.

A thickset creature with a face on his belly and a small, tentacled being on his head followed them down, blocking the way up as his mates piled around behind him.
I'm hearing you, I'll make sure to get us moving. Possibly within the next hour, but most probably by the end of the day.
Me too, but they usually post quickly.

@AquaAzura, unless you already edited it and I didn't read the edit: I think you misinterpreted Rokku's post. Sonus didn't attack Jim, he ran up the stairs to attack the one yelling about the Heartless.

It is Silver, by the by. If any of you haven't seen Treasure Planet you should, not for the RP but just because it's a really underappreciated movie.
