Snake spent a couple minutes scoping out the enemies with his binoculars, creating a plan of attack and attempting to notice any weaknesses that he could exploit to make this easier.

He found plenty.

A plan of attack began to take shape has he observed the terrain and placement of the guards. Right before he was about to execute it the civilians walked down the path he just came through. After a bit of thinking, Snake decided that getting spotted by the civilians was the least of his worries. He should still try and stay hidden but he could afford to be seen, at least by them
Plan of attack: follow the patch of grass south until close to the guard. quietly approach the guard while crouched and then quickly eliminate him with CQC. If he proves difficult it may call for Snake to use his combat knife. Once he has been dealt with drag his body around the corner of the base and leave it there. Then retreat back into the grass

Executing plan
Also I might have Snake acting a little rashly in my post but honestly that is how I play him in Metal Gear Solid 3. (In other news I die a lot in Metal Gear Solid 3) I kind of imagine that that is what he would do in a cutscene, it's just that in game it's a lot harder to make that work and in cutscene Snake eliminates everyone with extreme precision

I like the card idea. It's a nice way to get all the information from the descriptions down into just a paragraph, some choice words and an image.

Also, I don't know if this is a problem for everyone else. I can never remember what shade of green I use for Snake's dialogue. I remember I made it darker than the shade I used for the header but I can never remember exactly what it was.
I really like all the effort and description you put into everything. There have been times where you reached Novel levels of describing the environment, in addition to the pictures and maps. I am a little sad that the RP is progressing so slowly but... I do like your style a lot
You know this almost reminds me of those massive crossover fighting and strategy games. Where everyone does their best to stay faithful to the source material, and only bend it if it would unbalance the game if they did keep it the way it was. Like Super Robot Wars, and Smash Brothers, and Marvel vs Capcom.

I do have two more character ideas floating around but I think it would bog down the RP if I put them in right now

Question for all you guys.

What tone are you guys gonna shoot for? Or which one do you expect I guess. I kind of expect it to shift back and forth between tense, serious, funny etc as the situation changes and we get forced into interesting interactions. Also I'm okay with pretty much any tone except Edgy Mc Dark Edge, because that gets tiring :p
I haven't been doing too much recently. A friend of mine tried to get me into ARK survival evolved and then they abandoned me to a world of pain and dinosaurs.

I've also been playing Monster Hunter Stories and I've been thinking about revisiting some of my older games again. All in all I've been doing pretty good

Snake couldn't help but stop and listen when a song came on the Radio one of the civilians was using. Snake had never seen a wrist-mounted device like the one the civilian was carrying but it looked like it might be a communication device. The song was great and somehow it made him feel better.

He just stayed there in the grass for a while and let the song wash over him. It was honestly very relaxing

He was getting ready to sneak away under the cover of the radio when the music shut off and a harsh voice started barking orders. Snake couldn't help but smirk as he heard the soldiers speak. Even though it meant sneaking through the base with soldiers on guard Snake knew how to avoid soldiers, and with some luck, he could quietly interrogate one to get some information. Maybe even steal a gun or some food from them. After the first few seconds though the message turned grim. They were interrogating a "subject" in the base, they were on guard because of machines attacking (they were sure to be on caution status at the very least), and they changed the frequency of their radios so he couldn't expect any more news from the enemy.

Better get started. Snake thought as he tried to quickly crawl away from the group. Luckily he was in the grass and the shadows, on top of that the buzzing of the radio might muffle the sound of the grass rustling as he moved. Either way, he wanted to move quickly and get out of the way of the civilians. If they started moving in his direction they might spot him or step on him. No amount of shadows or grass could keep them from spotting him at close range.
Snake would go crazy in one of those locales. Considering he gets a nightmare hearing Paramedic say Dracula and doesn't like when she starts talking about vampire bats (a normal creature by all definitions. I mean except for the blood-sucking I guess

I wouldn't mind if we ended up there though. It would make for an interesting chat with Snake :P
How about a location from Monster Hunter? Like the Sandy Planes or Deserted Island/ Moga woods?
Also sorry that Snake is being anti social right now. It's just that quietly sneaking away seemed like what Snake would do when faced with unfamiliar faces. Especially because he can't call his support team to ask who is a friend and who is an enemy

Besides he'll end up at 2Fort one way or another
