Perhaps you'd like to try your hand against my new fighter that I just minted, like, a few minutes ago.

Who Kikin? He's the newest character on your roster there. Hey he's only a few minutes older then my new character! :P

<Snipped quote by LeeRoy>

I can find a way to loose to that.

A 2 vs. 2? Or everyone versus Skally? ;)

No one on ones, no need to pick on Skalla. XD

Unless he's into that short of thing...

So which character of mine would you want to fight with whom? I kind of want to try out Kragimaeus. Though I'm fine with using any from my list.
Hands on his hips Tablurath watched the arrival of the woman he assumed to be Rodetta the Red herself. The breeze picked up as the sun began to dip to their west, casting the horizon in a deep blood red. Befitting given his opponent Tablurath thought privately. The skies holding few clouds that drifted lazily in the wind. A single lady bug buzzing between the two, and a small beetle scurrying beneath a rock a few feet away as if sensing the coming violence and wanting no part of it. These things were as plain as day to the highly perceptive Ryllan general. If not for the filters on his mask, Khazna might have smelled the pine dashed with the faint hint of rot that was heavy in the air; no doubt the result of the corpses of those who had died here.

Did your commander promise you a bonus for my head? It takes money to motivate most to take me on by themselves, especially in a pointless conflict like this....

Tablurath inclined his head. “Money? Pointless?” The man only chuckled. Seeming to find amusement in the women's words. He waved a finger in the air as if admonishing a child. “Oh, I fear you are quite wrong on both accounts. But never mind all that. The important thing here is you have a simple choice before you. I’d like to think I’m not completely void of compassion. So, I’ll give you this one chance to surrender.”

“If not, well.” He carefully drew his twin swords, pulling them back with a flourish ruffling the edges of his cape back. Their blades gleaming in the setting sun. "I’ll have to put you down. I’m not one to waste lives if it can be avoided. So I’d say it would be in your best interest to lay down your arms.”

He kept his arms wide, both blades pointed at the ground at either side. “A part of me though, hopes you refuse,”

“So, your answer?” he remained still, roughly twenty feet away in a neutral stance. As if mocking her.
I hope this battle starts with a dance off.

That has to be the creepiest battlefield I've ever seen.

Wrong after looking at his character I devised several ways to best your character.

Ain't Nobody Got Time for That!
There's so many creative ways to bypass the great coat really, but I used to run with wraiths so maybe it's easier for me to think of them. Apparently creativity is not wanted in the arena.

You'd have to go out of your way to actually hit the armor. And it's not even as strong or covers as much as the Pundambayan body armor.

<Snipped quote by MelonHead>My punches would have only negligible problems to harm him, actually.
Also your analogy to 25 inches of steel is kinda wrong.
Impact mechanics are more complex than that.
Even if it's indeed 50 times tougher than Kevlar and can dissipate some of the force the airy thin material won't be any help against an .50cal BMG shot for example.
And your piercing attacks wouldn't be any weaker than that, I suppose.

He also forgot he uses water, which bypasses cloth armor. XD
You've reduced the effectiveness of your armour, but it is still the equivalent of wearing a 25 inch steel body suit and you haven't really explained if it has the same properties as Kevlar, you've just made some abstract points about blunt damage still being effective (which seems like a relatively unimportant weakness, your characters main weakness being that he dies if he bleeds out, and the armour completely protects you from being shot or cut in its current form.

And also the magic nullifying shield which unfortunately completely negates my characters abilities.

Like I said though, if Rilla and the others think the match-up is now fair I'm happy to go.

Must be new to the arena, a single prepped attack would cut right through it...

Never mind that Torder can't bleed out possessing no heartbeat, it's limb cutting that's the problem. Which the armor can't counter.

There's more issues? D=
