I guess Skallagrim might have a point. While realistically, it would indeed be an undodgeable, there is always some leeway included in arena fights.

NO BUT OP THOUGH!

I'm mad people made you rage quite because they thought your PC was OP.

I like how people see the number and stop reading the rest of what flash-step is/requires.
Uh, I have a couple questions, actually.

1. Will there be minions? Like, non-mercenary soldiers running about, being general cannon-fodder?

2. Death. If a character dies, are they dead for good? Or will they...respawn somehow? Like a class in TF2 or something. Or will they be dead for the rest of the battle?

3. Would that make it recommended to have backup characters? Because that CS was easy and painless to work with, no fluff involved there.

Character death will generally be prema for the series (but you are free to reuse them outside Melees set in this mini universe). Though generally only immediately fatal wounds would lead to death due to this universe possessing healing magic. So on the other hand characters who live will build rivalries over time. At least that's my plan/hope.

Also to the first question, no minions in this battle. As a first entry into the Arena I wanted to keep it simple.

As for back up characters, that would be a good idea to have for future Melees. Characters being pretty easy to make helps in this regard.
@Stekkmen
Archers are a always nice additions, the half-elf with the gender bender parents looks alright to me. Just add in the number of arrows you possess. Generally quivers hold no more than 20, though it varies a little.
Hmmm. I would put the most powerful of the followers on par with Skallagrim if not a tad greater, and Ghoukas is a shade less powerful that the Dreaming Queen. But only because she has the Woven Staff.

That last one doesn't help to much since we don't really know how powerful the Dreaming Queen is since she never does anything.
I suppose its better they leave now than in the middle of the match.

At least there a few new people interested.

God's just another word for plot device.

I forgot to mention, I'm thinking of making a canon lists of characters for the multiverse. Along with a lists of major turning events for them.

Oohh, you should have never messed with Tablurath's grey-goo Mibs.
worked out fine, for several reasons.

That's good to hear.
Lo! For the Nightmare lord Cometh!

Nihl will chop him up.

His story was supposed to center around Impaqt winning, and Nihl taking the key from him so the Grim Reaper could bring back Ghoukas

How did that work out for you?

<Snipped quote by Rilla>

I think the idea is that the Angry Rilla's are willing to do anything to destroy the Dreamers, without realising that they would probably be aiding the greater enemy. It could leave Khan's character in an interesting position if he does win, as his high command would probably take the key from him and he wouldn't necessarily like that.

I have been thinking about what would happen if Tablurath wins involving a longer plot line afterward that will likely kick-start the multiverse, maybe have his own fleet break off and become a mercenary band, who knows. Its assumed the Infinite War picks up after this tournament.

There's also a back up plan in cause he loses which would see the rise of the Queen of Blades. So either way badass stuff are bound to happen. Sadly with the time limit for my match, it will probably end before he even gets serious enough to remove his training weights. :K

Also unlikely the Angry Rilla will open the gate on purpose, as that would go against their goal for the multiverse. In fact it was only one small branch of the Empire even really that interested in the Dreamers. Their only one ascended race, and not even the oldest atm.
