Heard of it, but I haven't exposed myself to it
Takumi Minamoto - Island in a Sea of Troubles
3rd Ward, Sakura Clinic, Fourth Floor

'This is no ordinary clinic.'

That was Takumi's first thought upon passing those sliding doors and entering the clinic for the first time. 'And not in the sense that it's harboring ghouls, I'd reckon.' While he had little experience in the realm of civilian clinics, the young half-ghoul knew for a fact that the individuals staffing and patronizing this business were not of the standard variety. The professional establishments he'd visited rarely staffed a single rough-looking individual, but it seemed this clinic employed a vast majority of unscrupulous-looking folk. It made him slightly uncomfortable, to say the least. He was not intimidated, of course; if he was afraid of a few thugs, he would've been dead long ago. No, it was that he was surrounded by people who he would've been eating on any other day. There was also the possibility that his actions elsewhere could affect him here, but he'd already done what he'd done so there was little use in pondering the consequences.

As they continued onward, Takumi watched a fidgety young ghoul attempt to get Asoka to stop her wanton umbrella twirling to no avail. He would've simply written that situation off as 'something that happened', if not for the girl's adverse reaction to himself. "...Eh?" A look of confusion flashed across the young man's face. In comparison to all the scars and tattoos out and about, he was pretty sure that didn't look all that intimidating by comparison. He didn't smell that bad, did he? With a somewhat worried expression, Takumi lifted the neck of his jacket and took a whiff of his own scent. It was... acceptable? '...Probably.' He was going to clean himself up soon, so he didn't much worry about that either. At any rate, his appearance seemed to cause her undue distress, so Takumi figured that an apology was in order. "Don't worry," he reassured, "We're not here to cause trouble or anything."

Then they came across another figure on their road to relaxation: a guy. Just a guy. A completely, 100% human male. Despite his relative harmlessness, Takumi couldn't help but think badly of this person. It wasn't his appearance, which itself was rather creepy, but instead the inflections of his voice. Takumi compared it to a doctor that he used to know, and decided that if they ever met, those two would likely get along badly. He waved in greeting at the doctor nonetheless before stepping into the elevator to stand awkwardly with the rest of the now-extended family. A few long, camp elevator music-filled seconds later and they were at their destination.

To be frank, Takumi lacked experience with using love hotels for their intended purpose. He did, however, have experience using them for cheap, temporary housing. Thus, he felt quite at home among the felt decor and discolored patches. 'I wonder if it's hard getting ghoul blood out of the floor,' he thought, aimlessly scanning his surroundings while Hana explained what was going on. "I mean, I hope so," Takumi blurted out at the end, not quite paying attention to what exactly he was saying.

Now left with the two bickering ones, Takumi was left to ponder the mysteries of belligerent siblings, scrutinized their conflict with only the mildest of interest in his green eyes. He briefly considered the possibility that he should be doing his job as a legal adult and keeping these two from tearing each others' throats out. However, he ultimately decided against that. 'They're ghouls,' he thought, sidestepping the silver-haired youngster who was dragging his resistant comrade towards the bathroom, 'I'm sure they won't get hurt too badly if I don't interfere.' As if he were watching a boat leave shore, his gaze slowly followed the children's metaphorical cloud of dust as they carved a path of destruction into their designated room. The astoundingly cacophonous sounds he heard coming from that room made him think that "path of destruction" comparison was not entirely unfounded. Soon after, the chaos was replaced with the peaceful pitter-patter of showering. The brunet blinked twice, "...Well okay then."

To avoid looking like a weirdo standing in the corridor all lonesome, Takumi headed towards one of the empty rooms to get his shower on.
Mmm, so did anyone else read that fun new TG:re chapter?
'Ey it's no problem. It's not always I get to write meta, so I gotta enjoy doing it when I get the chance.

As for Takeshi being to accepting, he's only like that because, given the situation, there is only so much you can do. He was, and still is, trying to be cautious about the group Asoka and Hana, he's in the state of mind that if they really wanted to hurt us, they would've done it already. He doesn't trust or like anybody outside of his family, but he doesn't see much point in being overly wary about them at this point.

Ah yeah, thought that this was the case.

but maybe we could have a thing were the currently kidnapped sibling(something from the last RP) was something of a mediator and(being the oldest) was the most mature of the group. He was someone the other to liked and respected enough to listen to, and was strict enough to keep them from fighting a lot(as they tend to do when left to their own devices). Definitely an interesting plot thread to follow.

Mmmm, well if you're asking me, thrusting characters into situations they're not acclimated to is always a good idea. Conflict makes character and all that.

Also:
I was, and kinda am, under the assumption that we were still following the rule from the previous RP, in which everyone got a kiddie

@Savato is this rule still applicable?
I'll write a post when I figure out what adjectives to use to describe shirtless Tacomeme what I want my post to be about.

Quick question to through into the air: How do you guys feel I'm doing on writing for Kazuya and Takeshi's interactions with each other, as well as their general temperament and attitudes?

Sure. I'll try not to make it too character analysis-y though. And it goes without saying that this is just my opinion and I mean no offense.

Note: this is only taking into account information in this IC, and whatever was kept from the previous one is not being counted. I'm also assuming these kids are supposed to all be buddies instead of a bunch of vagrants squatting in the same space who don't really care about each other.

As far as their interactions together go, in the two or three posts that I've seen them interact, they don't quite strike me as friends. Whether that's a good or a bad thing is up to you, but so far it's mostly been threats, sniping, and fighting with little allusion to underlying camaraderie apart from Takeshi's protectiveness over the group as a whole. As a result, the read I get from their dialogue and actions so far is more "I hate the other" than "vitriolic buds". Again, not necessarily a bad thing depending on how this ends up being spun, if that's your intent.

In regards to their general personalities, you post mainly from Take's POV so he's pretty obviously more well-characterized than any of the other kids. I will say though, that the way they fight really tells me a lot about who they are as characters. The aggressive Takeshi is all about charging and striking, which is expected, but it's Kazuya's reactions that strike me as particularly telling. It seems he's supposed to be the peacekeeper of the group, but he doesn't apologize or anything, he just tries to make Takeshi submit by countering with locks and stuff. Likewise, he seems to be the one that actually starts everything, even if he doesn't throw the first punch. In short: you have correctly portrayed the experience of an older sibling. Congrats.

For Takeshi specifically, I can appreciate how straightforward he is as a person, and I rather like how it appears that he gets embarrassed easily. Although I kind of feel like he accepts the situation too easily for how wary he was described as being, but I can justify it easily enough in my head through what I know of his personality, so it's not that jarring. Note that that means you've characterized him enough for me to be able to see things from his perspective in like five posts. So overall, good job I'd say.

I don't have enough on Kazuya to say anything other than he's snide and condescending, but not as above it all as he seems? You could probably benefit from switching to his POV once and a while.
Hehe.

Flesh.
Takumi Minamoto - Familiar Faces
3rd Ward, Sakura Clinic

If someone were to describe the reaction of the high-spirited 22-year old, they would only need one word: embarrassed. Possibly followed by the words "as fuck", if additional description was required to properly convey the tomato-redness that had come over Takumi. As far as public displays of affection went, this wasn't at all what he'd been expecting. Indeed, it was far too brazen for someone as maiden-like as him. Legs wrapped tightly around his waist, a woman's mouth on his neck, and most damning of all, the noise. He would have actually been more comfortable if she had taken a bite out of his neck. At least that was something he was trained to deal with. And Hana wasn't even the only one making odd noises; something between choking and sudden laughter blurted from his mouth in a staggered, half-restrained cadence. Truly, this was not a graceful situation. But on the brightside, he didn't fall over onto his back. So at least he had that going for him. Fortunately, his discomposure didn't last too long. He quickly returned to his senses after coming to terms with the overwhelming situation, and returned Hana's affections with a tight squeeze - in the hugging sense of the phrase, of course.

"Ah, that's kind of a long one," Takumi replied sheepishly, "And not really okay for a place like this." He did his best to gesture around the area with nods of his head. In doing so, his eyes met the quiet teen regarding him with her silent stare. As far as he could recall, the dark-haired girl was always quiet. As a result, he'd never gotten much else of a read from her. In his earlier days, this was a godsend. After mostly growing from his prejudices and trying to form connections, it was frustrating. But he could understand reticency, and couldn't hold such a trait against her. He raised his hand and gave a silent, good-natured wave. He wasn't much phased by her cold greeting, it seemed. 'I suppose some things don't change,' he thought as he saw the introvert retreat into the recesses of the clinic.

In contrast, the reaction from Asoka was a far cry from what he'd been expecting. He supposed that that was simply a natural turn of events, considering her relationship with their long-deceased caregiver. But what really got his attention was that first name. 'So Itsunii's alive and kicking too, then,' he noted. Based on his behavior, Takumi would've pegged his "older brother" as the "live-fast-die-hard"-type of ghoul. So it was a relief to know that the CCG didn't turn him into a nice suitcase. "I don't see why not," he agreed, "Nice to see you too, by the way." Like Asoka, Takumi also wanted to get his hygeine on. He'd gone far too long without a proper shower and a period of rest. '...She's going to hurt someone like that,' he thought, watching her swing her umbrella into the building.

When Hana leaned in, Takumi prepared himself for another onslaught of strange noises and equally odd sensations. Fortunately, the excitable woman took the opportunity for a query that had the action justified by its sensitive nature. That said, it called to mind something he'd much rather not think about at the moment. Best to eliminate this line of thought as soon as possible. Before answering Hana's question, he did his best to flatten out the wrinkles in his clothes. Then he looked up to face her, now free from her grasp. "Coincidence, actually," he responded with a careless shrug, "It's a funny story." He paused, thinking of how to sum his experience up properly. "I was drinking at the old house, saw some wet prints, realized it was getting late, caught the last train, chased a rumor or two... Now I'm here. The end." On second thought, that wasn't a very funny story. Oh well. "Now that that's said, I'm heading in too," he continued, "Care to show the kids and me around, nee-chan? I think the one giving me the stink eye is itching to get some R and R."
Cynder. Know that by offering this spot unto me, you have brought despair upon yourself.

That is all.

Ayumu and Sanji are talking things out. Chrono has to post the fruits of that, though.

Sachiko pinged Vongola scanners. She's also in a family marked for extermination. This is not a good combination. Fon is guiding Rei and Yoshi in the direction of Sachiko.

Hisaki has the opportunity to intercept one of the bots, but if you'd like to fight carnivorous wildlife, I'm 100% down with editing accordingly. It's really no skin off my back, and the challenge is roughly the same, if a bit different in regards to suitable tactics and such.
