@Mae By all means, use it for whatever purposes you deem fit. I would like to ask, if you're still willing, I would like to write up descriptions of different areas of the city, you know, just flesh them out a bit, and maybe even come up with entirely new locations for adventures.

Hello fair fellows! I hope everyone is doing rather well. I saw this interest check and was quite, well, interested in what I saw. I would like to partake in this roleplay if you would allow, and as a token of peace and prosperity, I brought a small location if you would like to use it.

The Ruins of Ormandine Temple

Ruins of Ormandine Temple

Ormandine Temple lies only a short distance from The Spire, and is named after the man responsible for finding it, Amadeus Ormandine. The ruins themselves have been there since before The Spire was founded, and the deity the temple was built to worship, lost to time. While the ruins have been well documented and mapped (it is believed the ruins are 1 sq km large with an underground network of tunnels and rooms) they serve as a great place for budding archeologists to practice their trade. Some say there are still rooms and corridors to be discovered. Beginning adventures may also like to scour the ruins in hopes of finding looked-over treasure. Archeologists and other scholarly types may hire mercenaries for protection, for while the ruins may be well recorded, a variety of beasts, ranging from wild wolves to the much rarer stone golem, call it home. Ormandine Temple stands as a great example for beginning adventurers of the world at large; wonders may yet to be discovered, though danger may lurk around any corner.

The world had simply melted away, and Gabe was left standing there looking at Syleste with his own cheeks turning bright red. Gabriel wasn’t always the first to pick up on social queues, however, as soon as she spoke, he felt that distinct feeling building in his chest. Did Syleste really share the same feelings as him? The thought sent shocks of varying emotions, from excitement to nervousness, surging through him.

“I, uh… I-I wanted to wish-… Well, to wish you good luck… I mean, it’s your first quest right..? First time away from the camp… from your friends, your brother… from me…”

Wishing someone good luck was something most people would say to a friend about to do anything, however, those words coming from Syleste seemed like so much more than when others would say it. When she specifically mentioned him being away from her, Gabriel didn’t know what to say. He simply smiled and replied,

“T- Thanks Syl.”

Gabriel simply stood there for a minute in the silence, before his body moved on pure instinct and adrenaline brought on by the emotions. He stepped towards Syleste, wrapped his arms around her and brought her in close for a tight hug. Gabe rested his head on her shoulder. He closed his eyes and took in the sweet smell of her bubblegum pink hair. For the moment, Gabriel was stuck in complete blissfulness. Gabriel brought his head back up and looked her straight in the eyes as if she were staring back,

“Don’t worry Syl. I’ll be back soon enough and Hawley and the rest of us will be fine. Just don’t get into any trouble while I’m gone, okay?” Gabriel released her from his grasp and took a step back, “ And when I get back, I’ll play a song just for you, deal?” Gabriel finished with a smile across his face. While his body didn’t betray many emotions, his mind was completely jumbled. He had just taken a leap of faith, and he was silently praying that it would pay off.

Well. . . I was hoping to have a much longer post after my short-ish absence. Then again, not much else for me to do besides reply to conversations. Anyway, sorry about my aforementioned leave, real life abruptly took over for a spell, but I'm back to have some fun!

Oh, and if it's possible, I would like to change Gabe's theme song to Tell a Country Boy - by Rodney Atkins. Probably the best song to described him with.

“Oi, try not to over-think things too much, okay..? Oh, and don’t worry, if you’re anythin’ like your brother is, Gabe; then I know you and I are gunna be the best of mates.”


Gabriel smirked at Ky's reassurance, "Thanks, Ky," Gabriel replied, "I'll try not to." While Gabriel was plenty nervous about partaking on his first quest, he was also genuinely excited. The idea of going on a grand adventure to help save a friend's life sent shivers of eagerness down his spine. He couldn't wait to start this quest, but Gabriel needed to remember to keep his enthusiasm under check; over-eagerness could lead to rashness and mistakes.


Hello brave adventurers! Hope I'm not interrupting anything important but Gabe, Syleste had some things to say to you.


Gabriel was brought back to his sense when Charlie spoke to him. Syleste? Gabriel's hear rate steadily sped up. He then wondered how obvious it was that he had a crush on her. His dog, Sparta, started wagging his tail as he saw Syl. Well, at least he approves. "H-hey, Syl. I guessthis is some serious stuff with the dove and all. I wasn't expecting to go on this quest, though. I guess this is one way to be taught the ropes, huh?" Gabriel released a small chuckle at his lame joke. He cleared his throat before continuing, "So u-um, Charlie said you wanted to tell me something?"

Gabriel's attention was turned away from Aella and towards Dionysus and Chiron. The information they put forth made him wonder; why would anyone steal something from an Olympian, especially a demi-god? Gabriel didn't know Hawley too well, but he did know Hawley's pranks were harmless at heart. Gabriel looked around the small amphitheater at the rest of the campers assembled. He knew there were people on both sides of the argument and in the middle. Whatever happened to banding together for friend and family?

When Hawley chose Gabriel as a person to help retrieve the dove, however, Gabriel was completely caught off-guard. Again, Gabriel knew Hawley, but he didn't think he and Hawley were on that level of trust yet, at least not from Gabriel's position. There must have been plenty more people that were better qualified to help Hawley. He looked over at Charlie when he spoke, "Thanks, man. Can't say I'm as thrilled as you are. You know, don't wanna let anyone down. I'm sure everyone is like that on their first quest, though. Here's to hoping we figure this out and clear Hawley's name." When Adam finished, he gave Charlie a two-fingered salute and made his over to the trio that accomplish this quest.

"Well. . . I guess today don't wanna stop bein' dull," he said. "And thanks for the chance Hawley, though if I'm to be honest, I'm not completely sure why me, but whatever reason, I'll still fight for ya. It's gonna be nice to get to know yall better."
