If the main characters that have time powers aren't affected by each other's time powers...then how was Mel able to loop the day without the other main characters being aware of what's going to happen that day? X_X

After Carnelian had left, Candice's attention was drawn back to the snowball when she felt that it was melting rapidly all of a sudden. She gasped as Mars' gem floated in the air, shining a bright light, and his human form reappeared. She immediately noticed how his appearance was much more reserved than it had initially been. After he had floated down and landed on the ground, she took a slow step towards him and she asked "Mars? ...Are you alright?" She wanted to know what had happened in the Kindergarten, but she noticed that the sun was setting and it was quickly getting dark.
She sighed silently when it seemed as though he wasn't going to answer. She suggested to Mars, not taking another step towards him (so as not to seem threatening), "Mars, do you want to head back to town?" She hoped that he would answer, say something, anything! Seeing him just zoned out and reserved like this was painful for her to see.
Penny
Penny looked to Quill when he answered, telling her that he's very close to getting kicked out of school for being a truant. But before she could say anything else, she was pulled into the back alley. Her eyes went wide and she couldn't help but let out a small gasp as she took in an unbelievable sight: Everything around her was frozen! The raindrops remained stagnant in the air, and a passing cat was frozen mid leap in the air. It was a wondrous sight to behold; She looked around breathing in awe and surprise "What the-?!" Before she could say anything more, Quill grabbed her wrist again and pulled her out of the alleyway and everything resumed movement once again.
Her mind was reeling as Quill made his comment. She had so many questions and she wanted to know what just happened, however she couldn't manage any noise, and she could only stutter "Wha-B-But that was-!" She gave up and she sighed through her nose with her hands up, calming herself down, "Okay, okay, alright. Let's head to the skating rink," She wanted to say that it was amazing as well, but she kept that silent along with her questions and decided to investigate later. Apparently, she may now be in the middle of a mystery novel herself.
