Nothing is really off in the main hall. The guards are standing guard and, while they are looking at her, it's more of a vigilant stare to make sure that Elaranna isn't about to dart off and try and break someone out. The main hall looks pristine, and yet there is still some rubble considering that the building are ruins. At the end of the hall, there is a mahogany desk with an elderly gnome sitting behind it, writing on a paper with a quill and ink.
Rain nodded in understanding when Albrecht mentioned that he had grown up in a predominantly human area. She grinned at his comment about crow people being fascinating, and she added "Wait til you meet Hoot in person! He's a total card!" When he asked about the route, she thought about it and she answered him, "Yeah, I believe Instella is on our route. Why do you ask?"
Sylvia nodded quietly at Pylia's words. Before she could respond to Pylia, Ferric and Shor finally came back. She smiled at both of them, as she greeted Shor, "Glad to see you again as well, Shor. No need to apologize for being gone all day," After he mentioned that he heard from Yorik and offered to continue in the private room, she answered "Yeah, let's continue. We do have something important that we need to show you as well," She then followed Shor into the room.

She took a seat at the table, and thanked Ferric for the water and cider. After Ferric went back to minding his own business, Sylvia would proceed to pull out the cylinder, the map, and any other evidence they gathered from today. As she did, she spoke, "As Yorik probably told you, we are investigating the bouts of vandalism, and one of the perpetrators, Dimos, was willing to turn himself in, and help us catch not only the other gang members, but also the corrupt guards and the noble's son who is organizing and paying them to commit the acts of vandalism. Of course, we need help from guards we can trust, and you and your team are the only guards we know and trust. So, I apologize for the inconvenience,"

She then told him as she folded her hands together, "After we left Dimos in Yorik's care, we went to continue the investigation. We spoke with Kathie, the daughter of To the Point's shop owner, and she told us about the gang and who were the members, and how the guards weren't doing anything. She has noted that Rodey, a guard she trusts, has been switched to patrol a different place. But that's nothing in comparison to what we found next,"

She continued, "We stumbled upon a Dead Drop box with the Lightning Company's emblem on it. There, we found a map leading to the Throaty Mermaid tavern," as she mentioned this, she tapped on the childishly drawn map with two fingers. "Naturally, we weren't sure where this map lead at the time. When we got to the docks, we learned it was the Throaty Mermaid. When we got there, I was able to ask some questions to the bartender. He was able confirm that a pair of regulars, a pair of orcs named Banger and Mash, came in and spending a lot of coin on top shelf drinks and spending for the women they brought in. We also learned that they frequent an old brewery that's been shut down,"

She then continued, "So we went to investigate the old shut down brewery, this time with Syfr and Dinah, and thanks to Dinah, I was able to eavesdrop on a bit of their conversation. They were expecting their pay to be dropped off this time around. And well...let's just say that they're not getting it," She pointed to the canister. She explained, "After their conversation ended, I had Dinah leave her hiding spot, and she caught sight and whiff of a woman leaving really burnt and badly cooked cookies in a barrel, which is also a dead drop box for the Lightning Company. Saw the emblem on the brick near it. We checked it, and we found that," As she pointed to the cylinder, "In that cylinder is eighty platinum. The payment for the act of vandalism last night, and a hit list,"

She then finished, "I was also hoping that it may be possible to compare the writing from the hit list to the writing from the nobles. That may nail the noble who's organizing all of this,"
Sylvia commented "Strange..." after Buddy mentioned that Jackson was just a normal dog to him. She didn't forget the fact that Jackson roared in Garruk's face that time. Normal dogs in Keratia didn't do that...
She answered Pylia, "He was. That one guy back at the encampment also called him Boss," After Shortfang pitched his suggestion, Sylvia also added, "Or maybe his friends are exploring Gransys, or are waiting for him at the Bloated Float?" She had to admit it was a good question, but there were many possible answers, so she couldn't say what for sure.

She then blinked at Pylia's words. She commented "It's a good thing I didn't even try being a merchant then," She then nodded in agreement, and she said to Pylia, "I'll be careful around him. There's still a lot we don't know about him and Jackson, and these two meetings with him have raised more questions than answers about him..."
Huh...Did that big guy have a hammer to begin with? Sylvia recalled the fight, and the leader was certainly big and creepy, but she didn't remember seeing the hammer. Then again, she did make an effort to take the guy down before he even had a chance to attack anyone. She was starting to have doubts as to whether or not they killed the leader or not. She answered Domic, "He was huge. But we took him down before he had the chance to attack anyone,"

If they had a fortress...then were there more Iron Hammer bandits than just the small gang that they fought? That could be a problem.

She smiled at his compliments, and when he was done talking, she answered him, "Thanks! It was nice meeting you again too," She then watched him leave the store. She then looked back to her friends and she realized out loud, "Oh. He didn't wait for Ferric to come back...huh..." Wasn't he going to buy some healing potions and holy water? She then looked to Buddy and she asked him, "Buddy, I don't suppose you sensed anything from Jackson?"
Sylvia noticed that Pylia shot him a dirty look but she didn't make any comments on it. She listened as he spoke about how he escorted a caravan from one outpost to another. She was curious as to where those outposts were, because all she knew were the two encampments between Gransys and Cassari. She didn't ask about that yet, because Domic asked about the bandits and Buddy. She answered Domic, "We do actually. We've encountered the Iron Hammer Bandits between the first and second encampment while they were attacking a family of merchants. I think it's safe to say that they won't be bothering anyone anymore, especially since their leader is gone. Anyways, after taking care of the Iron Hammer bandits, the family of merchants joined our caravan and we got them to Gransys safely,"

She then looked to Buddy, "As for Buddy, we found him shortly after fighting the bandits," She was curious about what he'll say in response. She wasn't going to say that they were guided to Buddy by dreams she and Andrews had, and a few other series of strange coincidences. The fact that he had guessed that finding Buddy had something to do with the bandits though...

She continued, "Before reaching Gransys, we did meet another person who was going after the Iron Hammer Bandits. She was hoping to get the bounty that was placed on the Iron Hammer Bandits, and she thought that the leader was a huge monster. But I told her what happened to them and I think she went to go get their amulets,"
Sylvia raised an eyebrow at his request, and she answered him honestly, "Unfortunately, I wouldn't know. I am not familiar with the prices of his wares nor where Ferric keeps the items. We are simply watching over his shop while he is away. It would be best to wait for Ferric to come back before making any transactions, which shouldn't be too long now," She knew that she didn't know much about Ferric's store itself, nor how he runs his business, so it really wasn't her place to make any transactions while he's away. Ferric trusted the store to her, and she wasn't going to betray that trust.

She then answered his question, "Oh yeah. We've been through a lot of adventures since we last met. And yes, we even have a quest going on right now,"
OK. Thank you! Post incoming. I know what to write now.
Would it be safe to assume that Sylvia knows the price of holy water? (Looked it up and saw that it was 25 GP)
Sylvia had to give his question a bit of thought as she recalled what she saw in stock here and their previous adventures. She started as she thought about it, "Well, Ferric has a lot of items here, magical and mundane, it's almost hard to choose. Mica can enchant any of your equipment if you wanted, but that's kinda expensive," She commented after recalling the fight against Red Stain and the mimic, "I would definitely recommend a net. Shortfang's net has made some of our battles significantly easier to deal with," She then added, "There are also some healing potions here, those are always useful,"
