Sylvia was surprised to hear that C’tan has helped fight against the calamity dragon, and she was curious as to what the One Thousand Suns were. But unfortunately, as Shortfang had stated, he didn’t know those stories. She may have to do some research on those topics. She was also curious about Eos, and she wondered if it even was possible to talk to her if that story was true.

She answered Shortfang, “I see...Thank you, Shortfang,” She was clearly going to let Shortfang get his rest since he just wrapped himself in a blanket.

She then looked to Pylia. She was ready to continue the discussion and she wanted to see what her friend thought of the story.
Sylvia smiled as Dinah rubbed her head against her, and she pet Dinah's head gently in kind. She didn't resist Dinah as she curled up in her lap, and just continued to gently pet Dinah as she rested in her lap. She listened intently to Shortfang as he told the story. She was about to ask about what Gestalt was, but Shortfang already answered. C'tan was that powerful? When he mentioned the 'world behind the world', how C'tan could control fate with numbers, and the 'Meta' her curiosity and confusion was piqued. Her thoughts went wild over what they could mean, but she was able to focus back on Shortfang's story. Her eyes widened slightly at the mention of the edge of Keratia and how once someone entered the fog, they never came back, but thanks to Pun-Pun, Keratia still existed.

She was silent for a couple of moments after the story. Did she...need to head west and towards the edge of Keratia to go home...? That thought inspired both hope and fear. Before her thoughts could spiral out of control with the possibilities of what could happen, she shook her head and focused her attention back to the present. She commented to Shortfang, clearly in thought and her mind reeling, "That's...quite a conclusion to Pun-Pun's story..."

She asked Shortfang out of curiosity, "I don't suppose you know if the story gave any details on C'tan's origins?"
Sylvia finally laughed as soon as she caught Pylia's odd look, and she quipped to Pylia, "Hey, you have your magic words, I have mine. Besides, I'm pretty sure nobody would normally use those words in a typical conversation," She also doubted that anyone in Keratia would even know of these words and where they came from to begin with. She looked to Shortfang when he brought up the story of C'tan once more, nodding yes in response to his question. She looked back to Pylia as she spoke quietly. She answered back just as quietly, "Don’t worry, I haven't forgotten. It's just...this might be a long shot, but I think the story of Pun-Pun and C'tan might give us some insight and help us figure out how to proceed with...how to approach the topic with them. I think Shortfang said that C'tan was from another world before...or I could be just misremembering things. Still, we can continue this discussion after the story," She then turned her attention back to Shortfang and she noticed he summoned Syfr. That reminded her of Dinah. So in turn, she summoned Dinah back, now that they were in a safer environment.
Sylvia watched and listened as Pylia helped her and showed her how to set the command words. When she made her recommendation, Sylvia grinned mischievously at the Mobile Home and she answered Pylia, "I think I've got the perfect command words for the Mobile Home then," She focused on the Mobile Home, and she focused on the command words for opening the Mobile Home and for making it a small box again. For opening it, she made the command word, "Bibbidi-Bobbodi-Boo", and the command words for closing it would be "Glass Slipper" She made sure not to say the command words out loud so as to not destroy the room with the newly purchased items.
Sorry for the short post. I edited more writing in.
Sylvia accepted the key and vouchers as she answered the receptionist politely, “I think that’s all for now. Thank you!” After giving the receptionist her answer, she led the way to their room. As soon as she found Room 13 on the second floor, she would enter, and look around. She was silent. Her mind was dwelling over the fact that Shortfang and Buddy didn’t know her origins, and the questions that came with her presence here and her journey thus far. She also wanted to focus and get the Mobile Home and Folding Boat’s code words set up before she fell asleep.

Ugh...just thinking about the numerous questions and her to do list made her feel tired.

At that thought, she sat down on the bed and took off the haversack and bag of holding. They did a lot today...
Sylvia listened to Pylia's answer, and she turned to look at Shortfang and Buddy as Pylia did. She let Pylia answer Shortfang's question, and she gave a knowing look at her mouthed words. She then realized something, thinking about her predicament now, and she added to Shortfang, "Oh! Shortfang, I just realized! You never finished the story about Pun-Pun," She remembered that Shortfang stopped his story about Pun-Pun right before the last enemy: C'tan, which she remembered him briefly saying that C'tan was from another world. Maybe that would give her insight Shortfang's views on an otherworldly character...

Soon they reached the inn and she greeted the receptionist, "Hi! We're here for a room again. Hopefully one to last us for about two weeks," She then placed fifteen gold down on the counter.
After Pylia mentioned that they were staying for twelve days or so, and that they would need to book a room, Sylvia answered her, smiling, "That's why I got the Mobile Home. That way, when we have our weapons, we can stay in there during the nights and when we have to go, we can take it with us," Her smile faded when Pylia started to mention the research needed to going home, and she stopped. She listened to Pylia as she whispered in her ear. She had a good point. She hadn't told Buddy or Shortfang of her origins yet. She answered her in a whisper, "That's true...we haven't told them yet. But...would they believe it though? ...Should we tell them? I mean....even in here, in Keratia, just thinking about my predicament still sounds crazy,"
Sylvia once again had to stifle a laugh when she saw Buddy place his Snapleaf Token right where his mouth should be. She imagined for a moment if she had gotten him one of those duck whistles or a kazoo. Would either of those make a sound if Buddy tried to use them? The world may never know...
She listened to her friends as they walked on, and after Shortfang brought up the deal, Sylvia answered him, explaining her thoughts, "I thought about that Shortfang, and there's a bit of a problem with that idea: We don't know how long we're going to be in Gransys. There is a chance we may have to leave after we deliver the message to Erod, so the six month deal wouldn't necessarily work for us,"
Sylvia handed her tonfas over to them and she answered Ferric and her friends, "I think we can manage without them tonight. We're not expecting another fight," She did note however, that it might be a good idea to spend the night in the inn instead of the Mobile Home like she had initially planned tonight. She noticed that Shortfang planned to sell his normal nets, but before she could even think of suggesting that he keep them just in case, he already sold them. She shut her mouth before she even spoke.

She looked at the items and she nodded at his words of caution and advice. She put the heatstone and the Traveler's Any Too in her normal backpack, while the Folding Boat went into the bag of holding with the Mobile Home. She then took the three Snapleaf tokens and passed them out, one to Shortfang, one to Pylia, and one to Buddy. She told them, "I think you guys will need these...just in case we fall off of a cliff or something like that,"

She then thanked Ferric, "Thank you, Ferric. I think that's it for now. We'll see you tomorrow," She nodded to her friends and she told them, "Let's head on out,"

After they leave, and while they walked on, Sylvia told her friends, "I think we should stay at the Silver Stag tonight. Since we don't have our weapons for tonight, I would rather stay there then risk someone trying to steal something from us while we sleep in the Mobile Home for tonight.
