Oh! Hang on a minute.

Sorry, I'm not used to running pursuits in D&D, I read over the rules and found I made a mistake.

Pursuers and quarries can dash (3 + Con mod) times per turn. So Siftus would be 120 feet in front of Elaranna. If Elaranna is still able to reach Siftus' space, she can attempt a grapple check to catch him.

((Edit: Math))
Yeah. Yeah, this mysterious figure goes first. XD

They're gonna dash for their action. So, they are now 60 feet ahead of Elaranna. What do you do now?
Go ahead and roll initiative first. XD
It's not stealth they're bad at, it's stealing. XD
As Elaranna left the prison, and bought fruit at the market, she would notice that the marketplace was pretty crowded. It was pretty much just another normal day in Nalukkhar. After buying the fruit, the monk would find herself in a quiet park that bordered up against the edge of the jungle. Elaranna easily finds a bench where she can rest and think about her predicament with the dead end. There was nobody here and the park was peaceful and quiet. Elaranna is surrounded by nature and this seems like a good place for meditation.

However, this peace is disrupted by the clinking of metal against metal, and the feeling of the purse being jostled.

When Elaranna looks down, she would see a small cloaked figure with a gloved hand in her purse that contains only five gold pieces. This figure's height is probably a little shorter than the typical halfling adult. The figure looks at Elaranna, the hood obscuring their face, and the figure breaks the tense silence with "Oops...! Uh...Bye!" The figure then runs into the jungle.
Oh! Good news!

Your Perception roll is good enough for her to notice something after all!
They may or may not join you at some point. Who knows?

Of course, I won't have all of your friends join you at once. That'd make the game too easy. XD
Plus, Ellaranna may meet some other people who'd be her allies.
Oof.

Yeah, that's rough. Especially since they rolled really well...
Go ahead and roll me a Perception Check.
Sylvia gave a smile and answered Pylia, "I think the fact that you're here now speaks of your own courage. You know what dangers are in Keratia, and despite what fear that knowledge may bring, you're not hiding now. That's pretty great. Me? I'm just a foolish traveler who doesn't know anything about this world," She was happy to see Pylia smile genuinely after Buddy reassured her that he can handle any manner of undead or demon.

After Pylia mentioned Ferric and the deeds they've done, Sylvia commented reassuringly, "I'm sure they'll notice that the vandals won't be a problem anymore at the very least. Hopefully that'll help things," Sylvia silently took note of the fact that there were two other people Pylia wanted to see in order to settle some past matters. A gravedigger was one of them...

After Pylia covered herself with the blankets, Sylvia answered her, "Good night, Pylia,"

While Pylia slept and Buddy stood by the door, Sylvia noticed Dinah nearby. She decided to play with the kitten for a bit, maybe with a piece of string or something for Dinah to chase a bit. As she did so, she thought about her adventure thus far, and her friends. It was going to be hard to say good-bye to them. Trying not to think about that, she thought back to her questions regarding her presence here.

Then she realized two things.

The first being that she hadn't asked the Oracle doll a question today! She could still ask a question. She could ask a question about her situation now...

But what would she ask...?

She thought back to when Pylia told her that her god, the Defiance, brought her here as an answer to Pylia's prayers. But...was that really the case? Or had Pylia's own negative feelings and thoughts twisted her views on the situation? Plus, the fact that Sylvia didn't really know or remember much about how she got here bothered her a bit either.

So...Sylvia decided that it was best to get a truthful answer about Square One from the Oracle.

She moved to her pack and fished out the doll. She muttered to herself as she looked at the doll, "I can't believe I didn't think to ask this earlier..."

She then whispered to the doll, "How did I get to Keratia?"
