Don't forget, they made another new hero named Screentime. A meme loving superhero who got his powers from exposure to internet gas. He has the ability to basically be a smart phone.

Arthur leaned against one of the buildings near the marketplace, messing with the strings of his lute. Just then, a group of three women around his age walked by him. He looked up at them and smiled, before strumming the instrument in his hands. The thing was completely out of tune though and made a horrible noise, driving a few passersby, including the three women, to quickly run away from the horrible noise. Arthur looked down at his lute in irritation, before hooking it onto the outside of his bag, and then leaving his spot to look at the different items for sale. Out of all the noise, a single voice stood out, the voice of a merchant selling a map. Adventure, hmm? Well, women do love adventurers. "Excuse me, good sir. For how much are you selling that map?" Arthur asked the merchant politely.
@HereComesTheSnow

When I read your name, I'm always tempted to sing "Here comes the sun, du du du du" XD

Same.
Oh hey, I've been to Germany once. It was only in Munich and Rothenberg, still pretty fun.
[Ignore. I was tired. I made a bad joke. It wasn't funny. Don't ask what it was.]
The Reaper

Outside of Vale's walls, lies a small, ruined town known as Whitewood. Years ago, the city of Vale had lost contact with Whitewood and sent three teams of its best hunters to discover what had caused the silence. It was thought that maybe a horde of beowolves had ravaged the town, but what the twelve found was much worse. When they first arrived at the town, the first thing they found were the bodies, torn apart and scattered everywhere. There were no survivors. The only thing of note was a small slip of paper found being clutched by a severed hand. It read: "No point in running, you'll only die tired." The three teams proceeded inside the nearby forest, hoping to catch up to what they still believed to be a group of beowolves and avenge the innocent killed.

The following is a message sent by one of the hunters: "(Indistinct yelling and gunshots can be heard in the background) We found it! We found what attacked Whitewood... and it's tearing us apart. (A girl screams in the background, before being suddenly silenced by the sickening sound of crunching bone) Tori! Dammit! It's already gotten team RAYN and half of NITE's gone. Team MRVL's the only ones at full strength. (More yelling and gunshots can be heard) We've never seen anything like it. I think it has some advanced senses or something, because it immediately saw Nathaniel, even with his invisibility semblance. None of our attacks are even piercing it's hide. I... I don't think we're going to make it out of here. (A voice in the background tells someone to duck, right before the sound of a large explosion) Don't come back here. No matter what you do, don't go anywhere near Whitewood. This is Marvin, leader of team MRVL, signing off. (An inhuman roar echoes in the background before the message finally ends)

There have never been any reports of The Reaper, as the radio operator called it after picking up the message, ever leaving the Snowy Forest where Whitewood had been settled. Suspecting that the knowledge of such a Grimm existing would send the general public into a panic, information about The Reaper is known only to huntsmen and huntresses who are sent anywhere near the Snowy Forest where it likes to hunt.

Took longer than I planned to decide on what my character would be...I'll start up the IC tomorrow. Y'all put your adventuring hats on, cause we aren't coming back to Fireside for a WHILE after this little escapade starts.

Why'd you post your character in the OOC? You're the GM, just post him in the Character tab.
So if Gloria hadn't been part of the plan that eventually defeated the Immortal would she have gotten fired (sent back to prison) like Evil Eyes cause she interrupted Revel's attempt at diplomacy?

So I was writing up a post and I figured I needed a nameless doctor to explain the extent of Gloria's injuries and I sort of created the head of the MetaOps Medical Division.

It's fine Prince. A good character.
The Immortal watched as Revel flew towards the pit of the reactor, distracting him from the threat behind him. The previously dazed and confused Hopper, having seen yet another team member supposedly be killed, had now snapped out of the shock he had been in from his leg being broken. Suddenly, The Immortal felt the impact of Hopper's foot hitting his back, sending him towards the reactor. Before he could change his course, The Immortal felt Specter's hands grab his feet. "Huh? What are you-" he began, but suddenly he impacted with the reactor. No, he was phasing through it. He hadn't yet figured out what was happening to him and tried struggling, but the feeling of phasing was too unfamiliar to him. The Immortal now found himself inside that which he had come to destroy. "You think this will stop me?" he said before pulling back his fist to strike his new prison. With all the force he could muster, his now solid fist struck the inner shell of the core. Pain suddenly traveled up his arm as he only dented his target. Finally, he realized what had just happened. They had sent him inside the reactor, where the radiation was now not only weakening, but killing him. Before he lost consciousness, he said two words that, albeit, would go unheard. "Thank you."

Crosscut teleported first to Revel, getting him out of his predicament. Next, he made his way to the unconscious Specter and lifted her over his shoulders. While carrying her, he also used his own body to act as his crutch for Hopper. As the team exited from the facility, civilians who had been waiting outside the facility began to cheer. Crosscut viewed the crowd angrily. These people should have been trying to evacuate, not trying to record it for their blogs and Facebook posts. Not only that, but the team had a man down. This wasn't a time to celebrate. Crosscut gathered the team around him, radioed Stratos to meet them back at base, and teleported all of the team back to HQ.

"Welcome back, team," The Director said as everyone appeared before him. He motioned for two MPs to take Witch's body be taken to the base's morgue, then turned to Evil Eyes. "Head to the infirmary to get your arm fixed up, then pack your things. You're off the team." The Director looked back at to the rest of the team. "The rest of you can go do whatever you want. Hey some R&R. You're all dismissed."
This is still open, right?

I do believe we have one spot open.
My sincere apologies for doing this without waiting for a response from the Immortal but I figure he doesn't have a whole lot left to do. If he could do something to disrupt the plan then we'd all die and be forced to reboot the RP so I think this is within my limits to do.

Oh and for the record Gloria's code name is SPECTER "er" not "re". Specter is a ghost, wraith or disembodied soul generally capable of walking through solid matter. Spectre is a global criminal syndicate and terrorist organization featured in the James Bond novels. Gloria's a ghost, not terrorist.

I had actually been waiting on you. Probably shouldn't have just assumed you'd know that.
