Current Goodbye Miura. One of my favorite fantasy authors of all time has gone too soon.

Don't forget, they made another new hero named Screentime. A meme loving superhero who got his powers from exposure to internet gas. He has the ability to basically be a smart phone.

Haha, hope you didn't think I missed the RvB reference at the end of that last IC post @Lugubrious.
Applying for a spot in this RP! Note that I write in a mature, gritty and realistic fashion, swearing and reference to sex aren't uncommon.

Looks fine. Move it to the character tab and I'll edit your character into the lobby team as soon as I get the chance.
New challenge is up. Do it nao.

Ooh, a very interesting concept. Going to go brainstorm ideas.
The winner of Contest 9 is @Guess Who!

Primarily this entry won because I believe this is supposed to be a Ragnarok, and that is something I liked most: You took an already existing Grimm and made it terrifying and powerful. Second, I liked the mixture of solid facts and hearsay in the description. Both of these were more than enough to offset the somewhat short nature (compared to the other entries).

Runner up is @PyroDash888 with his/her 'grandmother's story' representation of Deimos. This is most definitively a personal preference and I make no excuses for it. I love myths, stories for by the camp-fire or the hearth, fables and their like.

As for the others you made some very good entries as well: I spent the better part of a day deciding! This was not an easy contest to judge, well done all of you!

I- I won? Thank you Agent!
Yikes! My apologies for the inactivity. I figure you must be pretty worried right now about the status of your members. Never fear, I'll have a post up tomorrow afternoon.

I too was wondering where everyone else went.

I actually thought that the RP died. I was planning on waiting two more days and if no one said anything I was going to delete it from my subs. Good to know I was wrong. Can't wait to see your posts.
Ryan looked at Markus as he entered the room, not turning his head though since Valerie was still trying to clean the wound on his head. 'Family'? So they're all related? Oh no. What if Ace is that dude's sister or something and he's like her overprotective big brother? That's why he told me to stop hitting on her. Or worse, what if they're all his family because this a huge ass harem? Maybe Ace is one of his many wives or something. Oh man, he's totally going to shoot me. Well, I've dug myself this deep. Nowhere else to go, but down. Ryan continued eating the meal in front of him, only half-listening now that he knew that the speech the bearded man was giving wasn't directed at him.

Hmm? Did he say 'sacred ground'? Is this some kinda religious nut job church? Or maybe it's a cult? Maybe they're all cannibals! Maybe they're going to eat us! No, they're returning us to town. Besides, why would they eat French toast if they eat people? Unless they eat people and bread! Or maybe this isn't really bread. It's people! Soylent Green is people! Soylent Green is people! Ryan looked down at the now empty breakfast plate in front of him. He had eaten all three slices that he had grabbed earlier. Then William approached him with another plate of the so-called "breakfast" and passed it to him. "N-no thanks, I'm full," Ryan said, for he had now lost his appetite.

Ryan snapped out of his thoughts about people eating people as he saw Ace get up and head to the clipboard. He was now filled with overwhelming curiosity about what she had signed up for. Ryan continued sitting in his seat waiting for her to return before asking her the question on his mind. "Hey Ace, what'd you sign up for?"
Underground Casino - Antagonist

In a rundown apartment building across from the supposed location of The Dragon's Den, Team RCJM's contact stands at the window, peering through binoculars at the shady building's entrance. When the Beacon students walks into the room, with it's peeling walls and barren floors, he does not move from his vantage point. "Hey. Take a seat on the couch," he says. The officer continues to stare at the building for another minute of silence, before finally moving away to brief the hunters. He stares at them with a confused expression before finally talking. "So you're who they sent, huh? Well, alright." The still unnamed officer moves to a rollaway whiteboard filled with pictures of seemingly random people and strange notes, all of which are stung together with red string and tape. "My name's Murphy, and I'll be the one relaying you instructions as you try to infiltrate The Dragon's Den," he said as he passed the teens four small earpieces.

"Now, here's the plan. Each of you will be going in one at a time, because if this all goes South it'll be harder for them to find all of you if they don't think you're all involved. When you approach the bouncer, he'll ask 'Where'd you get that sword?' The password to get in is 'It was given to me by the Lady of the Lake.' Once you're in, try to mingle with the other guests for a while. If any guards are watching you, they'll soon lose interest when you blend in with everyone else. When you think you've lost their attention, head to the backroom where there'll be a staircase leading under the building. We suspect this to be where their offices are. We haven't gotten anyone that close yet, so as soon as you're all inside, or at least most of you, contact me for further instructions. I also suggest coming up with some fake identities in case people start asking you questions, but that's up to you. You can go whenever you're ready," Officer Murphy informed them. He then turned back to the window he had previously been watching from and resumed his surveillance.
Ryan half-sprinted to the bench where the French toast sat. Taking the nearest empty plate, he piled three slices of the deliciously smelling breakfast, deciding that he'd put more on his plate after he finished what he had already, and quickly took a seat. He had been so focused on filling his empty stomach with food, that he had almost missed Valerie's question. "Hmm? Oh, uh, yeah it stopped bleeding last night, so I guess it scabbed over," he responded. Ryan grabbed next to his plate, expecting to find a fork or other utensil in his grip, only to find nothing but air. He looked around the room to see how everyone else was eating their food, only to find them enjoying it with their hands. Well, if everyone else is fine with it, I guess I can too. Picking up one of the slices, he took a bite. "Mmm, this is really good. My compliments to the chef," he complimented before taking another bit.

As Ryan took another bite, a horrible thought crossed his mind. He turned to the pink-haired, blind woman and said, "Y'know, I never cleaned it up or anything last night. The cut, I mean. You don't think it's infected or anything do ya'?" Even with the threat of becoming horribly sick hanging over his head, Ryan continued to enjoy his meal. "Mmm-mmm-mmm, a fine breakfast," he said once finishing the first slice, picking up the next. Then Ace mentioned the dirty dishes and Ryan decided to inspect the kitchen from his seat. It's no that bad. "Oh, hey. What if I help? You gave me a place to sleep, food, and now you're helping me with my head," Ryan took another bite of the delicious breakfast before continuing, "Least I could do is help you with cleaning some plates and what not."
It really pains me to say this Lugu, but I think I'm going to have to drop this RP. When I joined at first, I had expected it to just be this, HoB, and MetaOps (and even then I was hesitant to join in fear of joining too many RP than I could handle). Soon after though, a friend of mine started a RP of his own and he needed more people so I volunteered. Not long after that, a different friend invited me to another RP he had just joined. Now I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and feel I need to drop one. I wish you luck and I hope that the story of Protea be told without hindrance. Goodbye.
Yes! Dodged that bullet. Ryan's thoughts were filled with triumph. "Sure. I'm not gong to go shooting everyone up, but if that makes you feel better, as long as you give them back eventually, I'm fine with that." When he heard Acacia's voice, he looked away from Markus and at the stairs where he could see her bunny slippers. Aw, that's kinda cute. When the bearded man said that Ryan could finally get out of the cramped basement, the young hunter had to hide his excitement. He turned to Acacia and followed her up the steps and out of the basement, quietly singing along to Bad Moon Rising, not knowing the irony in the song choice. "I see the bad moon arising. I see trouble on the way. I see earthquakes and lightning. I see those bad times today," he whispered at a almost inaudible volume.

Nearing the kitchen, Ryan decided to completely ignoring Markus' threat about flirting, and tried to strike up another conversation with the mysterious, and pretty, red haired girl. "Good to finally get out of their, felt like something out of Silence of the Lambs. So, your... uh, whatever he is, called you Ace, right? Pretty strange name for a girl," he said in a teasing tone. "So, what's up with this place? Everyone's been giving me cryptic answers and dodging the question when I asked before." At the sight of food though, he immediately shouted, "Ooh, French toast."
