You know that one area of the game where you have to walk up, left, down, left to proceed to the next area? Accomplished it the first time by accident. Could never figure out how to get through the next time I was there for years later.

Guess, weren't you a co-GM for a little while a while back? I dimly remember something to that effect. To be perfectly honest, though, I would not think of officially promoting you over Write or Narayan.

My Paragraph

Hello players of HoB! It is I, Guess Who, making a second attempt to become co-GM. Because doing the same thing over and over isn't insane at all.

Anyway, I feel like I would make at least a decent co-GM for a few reasons. First, I have no life. Yeah, that's probably not something most would say as a reason why they should gain a position, but in this case I see it actually working in my favor. Other than school and work, I'm basically at my computer 24/7 and I always have a tab open here. If something starts, the chances of me not being here are slim. So if problems arise I can quickly nip them in the bud before they escalate. Second, I'm one of the originals. I've been here just as long as Lugu, Lucius, and Hari so have gotten the chance to really get to know quite a lot of you here, even if I mostly remain silent unless it's to make some terribly unfunny joke. Third, I'm not an instigator. This RP has been going for 2.5 years and in that time we've had a lot of arguments. Who wouldn't? Not once during any of those fights did I ever start them and if I did join in it was always to stop them and find some sort of compromise.

Now admittedly, my track record at actually running RPs is less than stellar, Lugu, Cats, and Prince can probably attest to that (I still feel bad about Meta Ops and Starfire to this day), but I feel that that isn't what we're looking for here. We're looking more for someone who can deal with problems when they crop up, not someone who will run a story and attempt to keep everyone interested in it. Hopefully, with the power of an unofficial co-GM status, I can be more effective at doing that.

In short, I love you all and I want to be there to make sure this thing keeps chugging on.

I've noticed the common theme among all of this fighting is miscommunication, people being too quick to anger, and information getting overlooked or forgotten. All of which, in my opinion, only really need simple fixes. It just seems everyone's more inclined to throw blame around than to actually do anything about it.

I'd also like to add on to what Lucius has said. We all have personal lives outside of this RP as well, GMs and co-GMs included. Added to that, I'm pretty sure Prince, including the others, also have other RPs that they are a part of. We really, really need to stop being so hostile with each other and try to step into the other person's shoes every once in a while.

In short, we all want to try and enjoy our time with this RP and if we don't try to be more understanding and less aggressive than that's going to be extremely difficult to do.
