The Premise

An established girl group is finally getting their chance in the spotlight. After two years of hard work, they finally released a hit single that has captured the attention of the world, skyrocketing their popularity. Now, everyone wants to know who these girls are and what makes them tick. However, each girl has their own secret that they don’t want anyone else to find out. What will the girls do to keep their secrets hidden? What will they do if their secret gets out?

Looking For

A small group of 3-4 devoted (18+) roleplayers to play the girls in the group. We will be exploring the challenges each girl is facing individually as well as their dynamic as a group. The roleplay will prioritize quality over quantity so while it is not necessary to post every week, it is important to write a few paragraphs to further cement and further the story. If you feel like a post may be short, I recommend collaborating with the roleplayers you are interacting with to make one longer, more cohesive post rather than several short ones.

Rules and Warnings

This roleplay is 18+ as we may cover some more adult topics. This is also dependent on the secrets that the roleplayers choose for their characters. This may include but is not limited to:

• Drug or Substance Abuse
• Sex and Intimacy

• Pregnancy/Miscarriage

These are real topics that may impact people in real life so I want to ensure that we are writing about with respect and dignity. But I also want everyone to be aware that if you are sensitive to these topics, you may not want to participate in this roleplay. I also want to note that while I know some younger individuals may experience these things, I am keeping the characters' ages in this RP 18 and up.

Jaxon sucked in his breath through his teeth as he worked on some out-of-towner's porsche. It was nicer than any car he had ever worked on, which scared him a little to be honest. "Damn parade and all these city punks thinking this is some sort of spectacle, he muttered to himself as he changed the last brake pad with relative ease. Once he was done, he took a moment to inspect his work to make sure everything was good to go.

Satisfied with his work, he ran his oily fingers through his hair and let out a sigh of relief. The last few days have been particularly busy because of the funeral. Everyone and their moms were here to pay their respect to the local hero. Jaxon knew that this was good for their family business, but still. He wasn't used to all this hubbub and attention. It was uncomfortable and made part of him want to just hide away in his room. But no, he had to be a normal, functioning adult in society.

This was supposed to be his last job so that he could go clean himself up for the funeral. He wasn't sure why he decided to go. He didn't know Austin very well aside from that one conversation they had. The one that still haunted him to this day. But Jaxon Nowak was no hero. He wasn't Austin Witten and he never could be.

But unfortunately, Fate had other plans. (Fate was the name of their receptionist.)

"Driver's front side tire is out, flat needs a change. Lady says she knows you?"

Jaxon's eyes narrowed suspiciously. He couldn't think of anyone who would know him, despite living in Elysian Height all his life. His first thought was that someone was playing a prank on him. But when he turned to look, instead of some random prankster, he saw Summer Ford.

He was surprised that she remembered him and that she even knew his name. They had went to the same high school, but she was an upperclassman and he wasn't exactly the popular type. Plus she was Summer Ford. Everyone knew Summer- she was Austin's high school sweetheart. They were cute together. And people like Summer Ford and Austin Witten didn't really talk to people like Jaxon.

He took in another deep breath and tried to fight back the migraine that he could feel setting in. "Summer," he said slowly as if he was getting used to talking to people again. Getting a better look at her as he drew nearer, she looked as pretty as ever. It made him suddenly more aware of how dirty and grimy he looked from working in the shop all day. "We'll get that tire sorted out for you in a jiffy."

Did anyone even say the word 'jiffy' anymore? He winced only in his mind. No time for feeling embarrassed. He just needed to get this job done and then he was finished for the day.

He gave her a nod before heading over to her car that had already been lifted up by one of his coworkers. In no time at all, he removed the hub cap and loosened the lug nuts to pop the tire off. Then he got a brand new tire, popped it in, and tighten the lug nuts to lock it into place. Once he was done, he motioned for one of his coworkers to bring the car back down. This whole process took probably about twenty minutes.

"Good as new, he said, attempting to sound friendly and polite. Unfortunately, sounding friendly and polite was not a strong suit of his. "Hopefully this new tire works out for you. Come back here if you have any more issues."

Name: Jaxon Nowak

Age: 24

Appearance: Jaxon was long and lanky, as if he never grew into his limbs. He had a bad habit of hunching his back so even though he was about 6” tall, he always seemed shorter than he was. He had dirty blond hair that he just let grow out without much care. Sometimes if it got in his way, he would tie it up with whatever rubber band he could find. He normally has dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep.


Background: Jax was raised by his grandparents on his mother's side. He never knew his parents because his mother died during childbirth while his father was just never in the picture. His grandparents did their best to raise him with love, but a part of him still felt like he never should have been born.

In school, he kept to himself. He got mediocre grades, enough to pass but stay under the radar. Most people probably wouldn’t remember him even if he was in their classes. He was bullied by some of his jockier peers in high school, but he didn’t give them the attention or entertainment they wanted, so eventually they got bored and stopped.

After graduation, he went to a local community college to become a mechanic to work at his grandpa’s auto-shop (although he has been working there under the table for as long as he could remember).

Now he is still working at his grandpa’s auto-shop and also has to take care of his aging grandparents. He sometimes does dream about leaving Elysian Heights, but he still has ties that keep him there. Also, where would he even go? He didn’t have the social skills to do well anywhere else.

At A Glance: Jaxon seemed quiet and timid. When he does have to speak, he is soft spoken and a man of few words. He is more likely to apologize than to confront. Although he may be intimidating to approach anyways because he looked upset most of the time with his disheveled and tired appearance.

Jaxon would describe himself as a coward. He was scared of talking to people because he was afraid that they would be disgusted by him. He was even more scared to connect with people because he feared that he would get attached and eventually rejected as they saw “the real him”.

Powers: Jaxon has the ability to protect himself with a shield. The shield isn’t too strong, as it probably wouldn’t be enough to stop a bullet, but it does make him more resilient to regular physical damage. He would have to actively think to himself to ‘cast’ the shield and it does take a lot of energy for him to even use it once.

Relationship to Austin:
Austin was Jaxon’s upperclassman but he never really got to know him or talk to him.

Until one night when he was around twenty-one years old, Jaxon went into the city to pick up some parts for his grandfather. There he was approached by a mugger with a knife. Jaxon tried to explain that he didn’t have much with him aside from auto parts, the mugger got impatient and tried to stab Jaxon in the arm. Jaxon managed to shield it, using his powers for the first time. The mugger was caught off guard, but tried to stab him again. This time, Austin was there to intervene and took down the mugger.

Austin checked in on Jaxon to see if he was alright and for the first time, Jaxon had a real conversation with someone. He didn’t know what it was about Austin, but he just felt like he could open up to him. Austin was curious about Jaxon’s powers, but Jaxon admitted that he never used it before and doesn’t know if he could again. Austin had mentioned something about how Jaxon could use his powers for good, but Jaxon didn’t think he had the courage to do so. They left the conversation at that. But to this day, Jaxon still thinks about that night and the conversation he shared with Austin.

I think I want to be an admirer of Austin, maybe someone he helped once but isn't really friends with. Someone who feels like they are trapped in their hometown for whatever reason.
