Current My Italian friend just asked me if it's true that all Americans are fat. I'm offended but I can't stop laughing.

I always respond to OOC tags within 10 minutes, but I respond to PMs within 10 days. I don't know why- I suppose it's just because PMs are so easy to brush aside and forget about

I don't have any finals, but everyone else having finals is slowing down my RPs. Second-hand busyness.

I know it's time to go to bed, because I just started wondering if maybe the whole universe is a single cell on some alien's ass

If a tree falls in the woods and Fox news isn't around to see it, is it still Obama's fault?

Bio

I like to write things collaboratively.

And in the end, isn't that all you need to know to RP with me?

Ilunabar, being the a goddess of stories, has slightly different avatars. They're more like independent 'characters' she has created, with distinctly different personalities from her

What is the point of an avatar? The way I see it, the only conceivable use for them is to be somewhere the deity is not, but sense Gods can teleport across the world or universe in an instant, even that ability is almost entirely useless except for in the most rare of situations.

When you try to write something normal for your Creative Writing class and end your story with a character being reborn from a seed within the flesh of a dead god and becoming a messiah for a new generation of humanity.

Five-hundred-million years after the events of the main story.

On Mars.

This RP has ruined me.

I would pay to see something that insane getting turned in with all the normal, borimg stories

Is like to remark on how our Pantheon is halfway between Lovecraft and Olympus.

I feel the same way.

It is like Lovecraft, Homer, and the Greek philosophers had some eldritch orgy of writing, giving birth to Divinus: the greatest divine horror this side of the fourth dimension.
@Hael

It's the same thing

I disagree. This one provides the same alignments, but also includes the motivation behind them. Instead of just "evil", it's "power/achievement". It allows you to have an "evil" character that isn't the ultimate incarnation of satan or something

This way is more realistic. Nobody considers themselves to be "evil and chaotic"- that's a cartoon- but they might consider themselves to be self-sufficient and achievement-based.

And even if it were the same thing, so fucking what? I like this one better. It actually provides a justification for motivation.

Lawful Evil sounds like Keriss, alright. That's great.

Honestly, I greatly prefer this version. The three by three alignment system we're used to is just so vague in comparison. This is more realistic.
@Hael

Where would Keriss be on that? I believe possibly Neutral Evil or possibly Lawful Evil.

I've lost track of your CS in the constant, overwhelming flow of our OOC, but from what I remember, she's probably a Lawful Evil. According to this scale, that means the things she most desires in life are Security and Power- in other words, she wants to have strength, but also safety and a certain degree of predictability.

If that doesn't sound like her, Neutral Evil would mean that she is mainly concerned with Power and Achievement. As in, her primary motivations are to gain strength and make progress on her goals (regardless of the impact on others)
Vulamera may eventually propose a universal alignment system for mortals, judging their alignment to each of the Gods/Goddess and, more importantly, their place on the Chaos/Lawful-Evil/Good scale.

Neutral is in the middle, but is not shown on this scale

EDIT: Obviously, the acronyms stand for the typical DnD style alignments. LN is Lawful Neutral. LN(G) is Lawful Neutral (leaning Good) and so on. On this scale, Vestec is a CN, meaning his primary motivation in life is "Hedonism". Vulamera is LN, meaning her primary motivation in life is split between "Conformity/tradition" and "Security". Zephyrion, to nobody's surprise, is motivated by self-direction and stimulation.

Though, this will probably work better on mortals.

You certainly got the friendly part down

Friendly?

@Hael Finally come to grips with the fact that you're not Casper I see xPP

Bah, I was never Casper.

I DID want to be Marley's Ghost from A Christmas Carol, however. I bet I could make some sick beats from raddling those chains.

@Kho

Can we assume that Toby is a 6+ on the scale? Like, a Bullet Ant with attitude?
I never even tried to pronounce the name. :P

The name is too beautiful to be pronounced!
